Hello, are your external animations like flaps, spoilers, reverse thrust totally smooth? Mine are a little choppy and the flap sequences are not totally smooth. Does anyone have the same issues, if not do you have some suggestions to fix this problems?Hopefully it will be patched with Sp1 today :-) Thanks for help, with kind regards / un saludo cordial Tom

So I responded to a FPS performance issue before the release of the NGX. I was one that said "there is no way I am building another PC if there is going to be problems with bad FPS. Every time I try to make a video in the NGX the video allways replays with the aircraft completely shut down. When I try to at least lower the flaps for the wing view the sim crashes with a fatal error. Is it just known that the fsx video recorder sucks and I need to use fs recorder for fsx? Any inside beta on this one?

Hi folksIn an effort to get the NGX running at its best i have just used bojote's tweaking tools and one of the recommendations was to download theexternal framerate setter and set it to 20. after downloading and running the .exe i cant find where to set the framerate to 20 any help would be much appreciatedBest RegardsPeter

Hi, I have another post in here regarding the frame killer performance with the ENB series and NGX but i must admit that flying without it, is really hurting because the effect is so more realistics. now i have seen people in here talking about a software called "Shade". 1.Is this program "killing" the frames as bad as ENB series?2.Is there any default or presets out there because i am not a expert in the setup that gives you the result. Hi everybody, i´m flying the NG now realy for a while without any hotfixes (cause i nerver got a freeze, or CTD)But i watched an "issue" after the NG perform an autoland.On the ground the rudder is steering everytime to the fully right (when i set it to neutral and lief the rudder in nutral position).That was all the time by doing an "Fail-OP" autoland. By the way: Can someone please explain me in a few words, how to perform an autoland with "fail-pass" config!? THX

This will certainly give the i7 a run for it's money ...Will be nice to see that running with the NGX.. The fastest one will be the 8 core BE @3.6ghz

I just noticed that message today. I head you must buy an updated version of the database. Does anyone think it is pretty ridiculous for PMDG NOT to give it away for free?? It's like having a Blu-Ray player from LG and they don't give out updates for the BD LIVE database. It's ridiculous. On a side note, are there any sound packs for the NGX?

I am still running the version that was released on day one. I have had 5 issues over 150 hrs, all of which were caused by me switching views too much. Is anyone else still running the original installer? If so, have you had any issues? To date, I have never had as much (trouble free) flying time with a PMDG product. The J41 and 744 fail on me with swiss precision. But the NGX is one of the most solid and reliable planes in my fleet. I am a little nervous updating to any of the HF's or even the pending SP1. Why fix what aint broke eh? Thoughts? Cheers.

Hi ! I bought the NGX 3 weeks ago and i installed it without any problems. I registered the product with the serial number given by mail and i made the first flight all went good and without problems aside the fact i cant see runway from 2D but i am getting used to use the VC. Anyway i Flew around 7-8 flights without problems then i downloaded a livery from avsim i think air india i intsllaed it load the flight and when the panel was inizializieng everything crashed to desktop. i tried again and again crash to desktop. i changed livery and CTD. Ok, I was running Prosim737 networked and now tried PMDG NGX. First I tried: Main pc with gtx580 and th2go with 3x 22" then i put in additional gtx460 gpu NO SLI 2x 19" screen So outside view on 3x22" at triplehead2go on 5040x1080 and some intruments on 2 19" screen...decent FPS! Anyone else doing this ? Pitty that there is no 2D THrottlequadrant... Anyone tried with more monitors already ? Maybe gonne attache 10" touchscreen by USB...wondering what that will do with performance...

Hi Is there still a way of listening to the ILS morse code in PMDG 737 NGX? Do I have to set the EFIS nav switches to VOR in order to listen to the ILS morse code? Sincerely gura75

Today I planned a flight form Luton to Schiphol, landing on rw 27 . ILS : 27STAR : REDF1Transition : SUGOL Passing SPL I need to make a wide turn at 376 WP , come back at 376 WP and do the approach.When programming the route in the FMC there is no wide turn, but an almost 175 degree angle. What do I need to do to make this work ? Thanks in advance.

Hey guys, quick question for those who have trackir. When i start in the NGX i press pause(F9) on trackir and then move my pilots head back a little bit(Ctrl + Enter) because i feel the pilots head is always too close to the panel as default. However when i press F9 agian to unpause trackir it always resets the position of the pilots head back closer to where is was. Anybody have a trick or know a key you have to press to keep the head where you want it. By the way i only prefer yaw and pitch in trackir so moving my head back will not fix it ;) -Travis

Hello everyone,Yesterday I discovered were the HUD was its just above your head and pops down if you click on it. I got it own and into place but how do I turn it on... There is a knob above it that says HUD auto or manual. Mine is set to auto. Help will be greatly appreciated :DSteve Roberts

Hi all. I've flown a couple of go arounds recently, with the intention of making the same approach again. Approaching the localiser and having pressing the APP button again, G/S fails to arm for the pitch mode, having worked fine for the original approach. Any ideas?

Hi,So last night I did the PVD-PHL route in the 800WL. Everything was fine, no panel freezes, etc.However, when I lined up to land, I was a little to the right, and I ended up landing about 100 feet to the right of the runway numbers.I have had a lot of autolands with the NGX, and there was almost no wind.I should also point out that I run the NGX without ANY hotfixes.Any help?Thanks,

Hi, if I understand the graphic in section 4.20.23 in FCOM2 correct the autopilot status announciation should read "AUTOPILOT" (in amber) when on an IAN approach and below 100 feet RA with autopilot engaged. I just did an IAN approach into VRMM but instead of reading "AUTOPILOT" the AP status announciator read "FD" below 100 feet RA. Maybe I did something wrong. Can anybody please try and do the same...or maybe tell me what I did wrong? Everything else went as expected...below 100 feet RA the AP disconnected and the aural sound played. Hello,When I start-up in cold and dark, I start the APU, wait till it's started, and then press the switch that the APU powers the aircraft, as soon as I press that switch, my frame rates drop till 0.1FPS, before it was on 43FPS.I also tried it upon arriving, when I entered the gate after landing and I press the switch, so the APU powers the aircraft, FPS drops till 0.1This only applies when the aircraft is powered by ONLY the battery and then I switch to APU power Re-installed, but no luck Any solutions? And where can I download all the hotfixes? can't find the topicsTried google and avsim forum search, but couldn't find them.

I use Traffic x for my ai traffic. My questions are:- Is there a better payware program available. Has anyone changed from traffic x to better solution. Has anyone used Traffic X in co-juction with 737ngx and have had problems? Be interested in hearing relies. Thanks
