PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Greetings, Just wondering if anyone could explain the procedures for initiating a fuel dump, if any exist that is. I've perused the FCOM and Flight Deck and have yet to come across anything that seems to remotely indicate a fuel dump functionality. Perhaps i'm mistaken and the real aircraft doesn't have the capability either, which would be quite surprising.. -Matt Barton

The vast majority of my NGX flights begin with one of three frustrating BUGS. Either the fuel temperature is off-scale and the hydraulic pumps are overheated(I get that this is a panel state saving issue, please admit it's a BUG and indicate plans for fixing it), the flight is loaded with brakes failed(this occurs without any brakes problem or heat from the previous flight, problem a panel state BUG) or the everything goes smoothly until the yaw damper won't engage, as indicated by the light staying on(this occurs with a properly set up overhead, with no changes from flights where it doesn't occur) These BUGS are quite annoying. I read about an old bug concerning a stuck ILS indicator, but we're past that arent we? anyway, it still happens at EGLC ILS 27 (nav1110 I think ~latest)(EGLC has a very steep G/S, but I can remember 737 used to land there?I think with special rating (as in LOWI), not sure)had a freeware EGLC installed, but also disabledhad Aerosoft EGLC installed, but also disabled (in World/Scenery)had /Addon disabled, so proper EGLC default and showing ILS and freq. on Map 111.15/274 catch LOC, see the ILS, hit APP .. nothing moves, and fly straight passed, with indicator not moving(as in the 'old' bug).. and only at EGLC, my home is EHAM, all is well the Beach King has no pronblem at …

hi guys, I'm happy flying with the great 737ngx! thank you pmdg.but have a slight problem. it's a stutter just for a second when touch down.this is the only the issue about ngx till now for me and except that i enjoy almost the perfect flight whatever short or long route.my computer is not that good but with tweaks posted here i enjoy a kind of smooth flight.with other planes(lvd767 or pmdg747) i didn't see this problem so probably only with ngx i guess carefully.after touchdown every thing's normal again. i did some advices posted here such as delete skid mark, touchdown sound or autogen slide to left but no joy.most strange thing is that it only occurs with ngx only.ho…

Ok before i start i have the upmost respect for PMDG, So i dont get to fly alot, but today i decided to do a 2.5 hour flight, whilst in the cruise i decided to minamize the screen as i was going to watch a movie with the other half on my dvd player. After the film i knew it was nearly TOD. So decided to maximise screen only to find no cockpit, couldnt change views, all i could see is outside scenery, after 3 atempts of changing views fsx crashed. This has happend 4 times before, you change screen size and the ngx doesnt like it. Hi Gang and PMDG, Firstly, thanks for another superb product. I enjoyed a great flight from YSSY (Sydney Australia) to YBBN (Brisbane Australia) The aircraft behaved as it should and everything went perfectly. Love the VC, super sound set and the FMC short cuts for fuel loading etc. To Those other pilots out there I really do reccomend reading the tutorial flight. You will save yourself allot of time and drama. Nevertheless, I have a very small issue I need some help/advice with. I have bona fide purchase of 737ngx and I cant activate it.My problem might be that it was working and i uninstalled it as it crashed when i installed liveries.I followed the instructions for uninstalling old liveries and now it is asking me to activate againWhen i put in the code in the format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX, it gives me the following error Error:fix actcommonrepairlocaltrustedstorage - ( 50044,71013,1) , you do not have a valid lic for this product Any ideas or a working code would be helpfulI sent this to pmdg over a week ago and no response I would be nice to get this 737 up in the air again. peter

I can't remember if this was specific to the MD-11 or the NGX had it. But is there some way of telling the NGX not to disconnect the Autopilot of the controls are moved? Reason I say that is because lately (Not sure if it hotfix 4) If you have any of the keys assigned to the had swtiches on your stick they disconnect the Autopilot when you use them. Zoom in and Outor Bringing up a Specific Panel. Like on my Stick Pov 1 is View Pan Pov 2 is assigned like this. Since I have never owned any rudder hardware, and use the saitek yoke and throttles, I have always left autorudder selected in the fsx menu, I have heard that this interferes with the NGXs' yaw damper. Any ideas on this?

Gents, although I try to read this board on a regular basis I might miss a thing or two, so sorry should this have happened. Anyways, this just occured to me and because it was new to me I thought, oh please not another one. Without further ado, here is what happened: Preflight setup was performed normally. After manual departure with LNAV armed, I selected BUG UP speed at acceleration altitude which was set to 800' AFE (and I did so by visually placing the magenta bug over the UP speed, as probably everyone else would do). I hope I can get some NGX response on this issue as well as from any fellow sim-pilots who may be able to shed some light on what is going on here. According to FCOM pressing TOGA during a coupled approach should discontinue approach mode and enter GA mode (which it does). Power should immediately increase to GA setting and the aircraft pitch level and then up. The AP will disconnect but the aircraft should continue to pitch up to maintain ASI window speed (which should be Vref+5 or so). Pilot action is to immediately retract to Flaps 15 and after established in position climb, retract gear. The plane should continue at GA power setting and positive climb attitude. (…

Hi all For those of us who have the excellent EFB from www.aivlasoft.com we have identified a problem since the release of the PMDG NGX and that is connected with PMDG's use of simconnect. Simply put it would appear that the NGX floods simcconect with so much data that EFB can't display either online traffic or even ai aircraft. It can get so bad that simconnect will simply give up the ghost and disconnect from FSX resulting in a CTD. Are PMDG investigating this Issue. I know that Aivlasoft have been in touch with your developers but it would appear that no answer has been forthcoming. Wycliffe

Am I alone in finding that I am increasingly dissapointed with the graphics and default terrain in FSX after flying the 737NGX? The aircraft is a generation further forward than FSX both in performance and graphics. The only add on that I am currently using is Radio Contact 4. Even this is now getting woefully out of date. Can anyone recommend a set of world wide terrain textures that will improve the general appearance of FSX without killing my frame rates? I would also appreciate any comments on the value of installing REX. Chris Hall.
