I've been flying EBBREGKK via a reloaded flight file. Yesterday TO was marred by the plane not complying with FMC Speed (massive underspeeding to stall buffet) until Cutback Restore at 3000 (though AT, LNAV, VNAV and CMD A were all on OK). Based on another post, I tried fully loading the non-winglet -800 first, then reloading the -800 WL as desired. This time, TO was fine, FMC Speed was well tracked ... but suddenly, above 3000', the entire FMC active flight plan disappeared from the screen and I couldn't find any Coroutes either ... Anyone else had this? A bit disheartening when the bird is soooo beautiful .... Apologies if a redundant question. Tried to check other post…

I noticed that the distance to go for vor settings is not shown on the pfd? normally these are shown for vor1 and vor2 on the base of the pfd? where is this feature hidden on the 737ng?thanks

Hey All,I was wondering if any of our EU brothers could help me here! For flights inside the US I have Flightware etc for real world flight plans and destinations. I also have my own issued Jepps (and the Jepp iPad app from my company), as well as all other places via free sites. Is there anything like that for Europe, Russia, Orient etc? I don't know how to get RW flightplans, and have never been able to find charts. Also, if anyone could suggest a good 2 hr flight out of LPPT with a real flightplan, and a 737-8 or 9, it would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

Hi all, hope everyone is enjoying the NGX as much as i am. Quick question regarding setting the trim am interested how others go about this. Upon having the trim value calculated in the FMC how have others got there setup to accurately set the trim for takeoff. I dont want to turn on help/tooltips to see the value as i dont need tooltips for anything but this (and i find it tacky etc thats just me). Can the setting be 'roughly' right - if FMC says 4.61 and without tooltips i trim to as accurately as i can tell on the trim wheel/value. Does it have to be spot on? Is 4.5 acceptable or does it have to be axactly 4.61 ? Does the trim have to be set to 2 decimal places or …

I was cruising in LNAV/VNAV PTH on autopilot A. As an experiment I disconnected the ap by pushing hard forward on my yoke. However, it appears that I broke something since I am now unable to reconnect ap A. I can disconnect and reconnect autopilot B all day long by pushing the button on the MCP, but I cannot find any way of reconnecting autopilot A. Plane is in trim and flying level. I'm assuming it is operator error - does anyone have an idea why autopilot A appears to have stopped working?

Just after departure with the NGX and only with the NGX I start to notice that the ground is disappearing in sections turning black or grey. Also on approach I see the same thing. Also at night, upon landing the airport terminals and buildings have completely disappeared!! Nothing remains apart from the AI traffic and the runways and taxiways. This only happens with the NGX and I haven't experienced any other problems related to this, with other PMDG products.

I have been flying the NGX since it came out and it has been working perfectly. Then, yesturday, i tried to go for a flight but when i selected it from the Aircraft Menu in free flight it strangely asked me for my activation code. I had no idea why. Regardless, i entered it off my PMDG account and it would not accept it. When this happened, FSX would become non responsive. When ending the process in task manager, it would do so but follow by "A fatal error has occured" message.I have tried to submit a ticket to PMDG but my browser always crashes when i try and submit it.Nick

Hi folks,on my last (manual) ILS approaches, I noticed that after I had captured the glideslope, the whole vertical glideslope indicator on the PFD disappeared. I continued the approach with the glideslope indicator on the backup instruments....Is this a possible bug?Had anyone this problem too? Regards,Ben

Hi Folk's, I have a problem starting the engines with ground air only. It is no problem to start up engine number 2. But when trying to start number 1, it will not success, because the air pressure only will come up to about 20 Psi, which is not enough.I tried several combinations with Isolation Valve in all positions. Only when I will put a little bit throttle on engine 2, the pressure will raise to about 30 Psi and it is possible to start number 1.I am still using the NGX in the RTM version, as I do not have any problems with this version.So is it a bug, or do I make something wrong ?Could some pleaase tell me how to start up with external Air ? Thanks

I realize this has been discussed before, and I'm starting to get the hang of it, although I have a question for the 737 gurus. I realize the FMC seems to reset all the data the first time you land, and therefore you need to remember the various V speeds for TO and APP, but are the flap speed Bugs supposed to disappear after the first landing as well? Should I just remember all the flap bug speeds for the various flaps settings, along with TO and APP V speeds? Safe to assume the data being reset is normal and happens in the real bird? Thanks for any input, and also thanks to G550flyer for the 737 NG techniques he posted a while back, very helpful!

OK! NGX has been running fine since day one.......suddenly, over the past two days I have been having panels freezes which ruin my long flights....no idea why. I can't seem to find the hot fix for this....any ideas?

Hi ppl I'm having problems with ezdok the issue that, i reinstalled my windows 7 64bit as it was full of junk, installed fsx works fine then installed ngx works fantastic then i installed ezdok for the second time, up till now it work fine had the aoa camera patches, but now everytime i load fsx with ezdok the patches are not there any more and have to load them in again and again and again, I've look high and low for a solution but with no successes if any of you guys have had the same problem in the past would you please spear 5 minutes of your time to help me please thank mav.

Hello folks,Really loving this bird - learning more each day.All has been well, however, in starting a flight last night, my HUD did not show any information, just a blank HUD.I went to FMC and made sure it was turned on, and it was.I started (from scratch) several other flights using variants of the "737" with HUD, and the same results were present.Any ideas what is going wrong, with me or 737?Your help is always appreciated.Have a blessed day.cthiggin

Hi all, Just wanted to add a post here to let other vista 32 bit users who haven't purchased the 737 ngx yet, that I did have have not had any problems what so ever, ngx runs great and with mid range settings using Obrx scenery Rex2 Traffic. My System Specs for reference are Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit SP2 Intel Core2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40Ghz, 4.00GB RAM Ati Radeon HD 3870 X2 Step Speed enabled 8.00GB Page File I get 30fps outside view and 20-25 in the VC so all good here. Oh and Great work guys thanks for all your effort. Happy Flying Dave

Hi all, The APU bleed normally supplies only the left pneumatic duct. If you are going to start right engine first as most of real world operations, you must set the isolation valve switch to OPEN before turning the start switch of right engine to GRD. So if you forget to open the isolation valve before attempting to start the right engine, there should be no air pressure to open the starter valve or to rotate the N2 spool. The NGX actually simulates this system correctly except for the starter nice roaring sound. This nice roar actually plays even when there is no N2 rotation as described above. Hi Guys: Quick question latley I have noticed after loading a saved panel state the nose wheel is locked all the way to the right, but not until I load a panel state, any help with this would be great guys, thnak you. Oh one more question the domes on the top of aircraft can be disabled (aft & forward) but they will not disappear ? sometimes, noticed this when the aircraft just loaded and it was all ready there,
