PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Dear all, Has anyone configured the FaceTrackNoIR for working with the PMDG-737-800? I was trying several time with no results.... Could someone share the config file with me? Thanks in advance, Alessandro

I have read so many threads on this subject and am totally confused. The advice i see quite often given to guys having problems with crashes, freezes, whatever is, download a particular version of this file and place it in the FSX root folder and sometimes delete or replace the one in the windows folder etc, etc, etc.I am not having any major problems apart from the odd glitch here and there. For instance controller problems after landing, which could be my fault because as yet i have not installed any Hotfixes. Or maybe it has nothing to do with NGX and more to do with my controller hardware/software and there is the occasional jitter in my graghics when panning around w…

Found this little weird window in the top of the window - Any Ideas? I can't close that thing and it's ID'ed as a window.

I noticed there was a hotfix up here before about fixing freezing and stuttering. I cannot find it now.. Has it been taken down or has anybody any idea where it is? Thanks,Greg

i got random ivap crashes and CTDs with pmdg 737ngx :( sometimes a pmdg dll or fsx.exe or ivap.dll.I have all Patches installed , anyone here who regulary fly online without any crash?already try reinstall ivap.

Hi all, tuning NAV1 and/or NAV2 to an ILS Freq starts sounding the morse code.How can I switch this off? The Manual states "To access the FMS based Setup/Configuration menu from cold and start simply press and hold the MENU button on the FMS until the FMS screen comes to life" When starting with the engines running (not in the cold and dark state) the FMS is too small to find the MENU button. Is anyone experiencing that when arriving at an airport, (or indeed whilst parked at gate prior to Dep) whilst parked gateside that when opening the Front Cargo door that the FSX cargo loaders don't respond.....they just sit there as though they don't recognize the fact that the cargo door is opened? I picked up a partial plane full of British passengers on vacation in Key West. Since the runway is so short (that takeoff is a story in itself), I had minimal fuel on board. My plan was to stop at KMIA, refuel, and pick up additional passengers returning to EGKK. In order to make the trip, I figured I needed to stop somewhere in the northeast to refuel again for the trip across the pond. I selected Bangor, Maine. Nice, long runway, good facilities, and a motel nearby for the passengers to get a good nights rest before the final leg of the trip in the morning. Hello, to run GPS initialization is it needed APU gen ON or also possible with only Ground Power ON? Asking that because tonight (and one night again few weeks ago) the initialization process did not finish, also after more than 10 minutes, while, just APU Gen was started the process came to end after few seconds.Strange, I cannot understand why.Bye.

Hi ,after several installation w7 ngx and fsx spend many weekends to install but with no result what so ever ,I want to throw the towel in the ring,having paid more then 50 euro for the NGX after a long wait and explanations about why the have waited for so long,BS about topproduct and iron out last bug and so on an so on.This would be a breese to install, but the real story is this is a nightmare for the people that are in thier 40 and over with little pc knowledge.I just have ctd`s over and over again.I think that it is for this reason why they won`t give money back, i know i would ask for that. any clues or others to same problems? this is my set upwin7 64 with a…

Hydraulic servicing. I know this debate has gone on for awhile, but my current airframe has now reached it's limit. Sys A is sitting at 39% quantity and the low pressure light is on; I have been unable to clear it through the maintenance screens on the CDU (even after a panel state reload). Arming/activating the QTY low failure on SYS A and "fixing it" doesn't do the trick. So how do we service the HYD fluid levels? What is the EXACT procedure?

Hello guys, I notice strange problem with TCAS. Sometimes I can see the aircraft there in the same altitude as me, but in the real, the are not any aircraft. When it appears on TCAS, I can see it for 5 second, and then it dissapears. After few second it is there again. Have someone got this problem? Thanks

I usually use sim routes for flights within the US but they don't seem to have any of the routes I want in Europe. Is there another place to find routes that can be downloaded into the PMDG format .rte? That's the main reason i use simroutes is because of how easy it is to simply download the route and plug in to coroute into the fms. if someone can help me out in finding something similar for European routes that would be great! Specs: Haf X 942, Win 7 Home premium 642600KAsus P8Z68Gtx 580Corsair H808GB Rip Jaws 1600ozvertix 120gb ssd2Tb 64mb cache My operating system is loaded on the SSD and i was wondering if I should install FSX on the same drive or load it separately on the 2TB additional drive. Also i will try following Nick N's setup tips, but was wondering should i Install Fsx and then tweak with Botjies tweaking tool before adding all my add ons? Finally i will be overclocking is it best to have all Fsx addons and Tweaks do…

I hope my problem also happens to more people, dusk or dawn when I fly in virtual cockpit lights off runway and not see, and if dusk or dawn departure and arrive at night do not see in runway and not see in virtual cockpit but if they are activated on the plane I hope you can tell me how to solve this problem please.Cheers

In this forum some users already posted their check-lists and flows for flying the wonderful PMDG 737NGX. I used them all, but none of them was fully to my content. What I want is a list of flows which are completely 'by the book' but I don't want to test all kind of systems which are working perfectly well in FSX. So I made my own list of flows. It's written direct from the Boeing's fcom. Only the tests are left out. I hope some people appreciate these flows; at least I can't fly without them anymore!

Hi everyone I was after a bit of advice if possible please? I currently have the Saitek Radio Panel which works seemlessly with the NGX and the Saitek Multi Panel of which only the flap buttons seems to work? Heycan anyone get the hugs to display the runway remaining ?according to the HUGS manual this is what u have to do but i cant get it to show. is this not implemented or am i missing something ?i get the ground localizer line to show but not the runway remaining.thanks in advance.
