Today I had an out of memory error without even starting a flight. I am contributing it for what it's worth. I have never sent in a problem ticket. After getting several freezes, and out of memory errors, I thought I had my problems licked by eliminating the FPS limiter which I had been using. Several complete flights after starting fsx directly (after Rex 2 of course) without the limiter. Today I started Rex 2, started FSX with EZDok. Then I had some other chores to do and minimized FSX and went online and paid some bills and did some other surfing. An hour or so later I restored the FSX window and got the out of memory error. Which PDF are the inflight check list in the manual? I have the old PMDG checks, but should really need the new one. Also is there a condensed, normal proceedures. The amplifided is excellent when your learning, but sometimes it gets a bit to detailled. Like adjusting your seat, and looking around he aircraft at the aircraft. What I mean is, is there a normal procedure list which has just the really important stuff in? And you can use when flying?

Hi, I have Service Based Failures turned on and while so far (after 40 hours) I have had random failures, like APU won't run and today a pressurisation fault after take off, my Oil and Hydraulic quantities don't seem to be dropping. During the flight I can see the Oil Qty % drop a bit, but when I start my next flight those levels seem to start from 91% and 95% again. I am expecting these quantities to dwindle down. Is my expectation correct or are my Service Based Failures not working properly? Thank you Brett Williamson

Hi! I seem to have a problem with the Fsbuild2 PMDG export path, since it places the .rte files to c:\***\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\PMDG\FLIGHTPLANS\, but the NGX is looking for coroutes at c:\***\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\PMDG\FLIGHTPLANS\NGX\. Is there a chance to change either the the export path of Fsbuild2, or the import path of the NGX? Sorry if it has been discussed before. Thanks for the help in advance :)

Hey guys!I am having hydraulic failures on my aircraft every so often. If I go into the failures menu and remove them nothing gets fixed.I tried reloading the aircraft, the panel, etc but nothing.Any suggestion on how to fix this?Thanks much,Teo

i Don't know if this has been posted before, so sorry if it has, i am having problems with my sound when i tune into the atis i get the text along the screen but no vocals, also when i turn in the ILS i am not picking up the morse code, does anyone have any know if there is a fix for this. Being one of those experiencing continuos panel freezes, I want to share what seems to have fixed the problem for me. This was an idea which I must credit to someone here on the forum, but I forget who it was. His suggestion concerned FSX having to load a lot of third party airplanes, thus eating into memory space. Seemed reasonable, and since I had a ton of addon aircraft, I decided to try his suggestion. I renamed my Aircraft folder to "~Aircraft", and created a new Aircaft folder, copying and pasting only the stock FSX+Acceration aircraft, plus the PMDG737NGX. I have the latest service pack and as the title says my exterior is disapearing all except the windows and lights. Happens with all paints.The only view in which i can see the exterior is the top-down view. Please HelpDevin Mack

Great work with your NGX, but i've a problem.I've installed fsx in a PC with two soundcards.All the fsx sounds come out from the right soundcard, only the pmdg ngx sounds come from the wrong one, the one i use for headphones in TS!I've checked the fsx settings and it is allright! What's up with it?I've the fsx sound on the speakers and the ngx sounds on the headphone...

I have two issues one is for sure with the NGX the other a general FSX question (perhaps). The last 5 flight I have flown with this plane ended with the blue loading circle in the sim and then a CTD. All times I was on initial approach. Other question is I'm getting a g2d.dll error that is crashing my sim right now? Any advice? Thanks...Again. I have tried over and over to execute an autoland on the tutorial and it always says NO AUTOLAND. Before that it says single channel in yellow on the PFD. I've followed the steps to the letter and it just doesn't work. Any ideas of a reason why it won't work? I've also tried at other airports and the result is the same. Just curious.

Anyone else notice that on some touchdowns there is a brief pause or stutter when landing? It is more pronounced on a hard touchdown or bouncing makes it happen more often? What is going on? More calculations that effect the airplane or something? I do not have this issue with other add-on jets... 6 gig of system RAM ought to be enough but is it this add-on is too strong a system resource user? I have tried disabling the touchdown sounds sections in the sound.cfg but that doesn't help so I think there is some calculation going on here upon landing? hmmmm.... could it be ezdok bumping instead?

Have you ever compared the level of detail in every aspect of the NGX to the 747,J41 and MD11? The amount of work that has gone into the NGX is phenomenal. If the next project is the 777, I wonder how much better it could really be?

This is unbelievable I have been flying now 2 flights per day. All has been fine since I made changes to the system to NOT get OOM,s like in the first week when I had the NGX AND NOW I got an OOM 5 mins before landing in EDLV. I did a flight before to EGSS from EGPK all was fine. Stansted also has the UK2000 Extreme loaded. I then set up a flight from EGPK to EDLV and now I got an OOM. Unbelievable !!! Ian

Hey all, Currently staying with my girlfriend who has very slow internet, and was looking for something to put on my laptop to read so that when I return to my Sim rig I can try something new. I'd presume as this PC doesn't have FSX installed I can't install my 737ng and as such get the documents. There is something "not quite right" with the PMDG 737NGX VHF Radios.There would seems to be a "State Sequence" error when selecting the COM1 & COM2 Radios. If you listen to the warning sound (AP-disc) and call-outs they are much louder and more aggressive than NGX. Could you consider changes to those volumes/sounds a bit? Listen here at 0:57 and 3:38: thanks - cheers.

With the NGX on the ground, APU bleed on with both engine bleed valve switches off, switching both AC packs off causes the bleed duct pressure(s) to drop to ~9 PSI. Switching either pack to auto or high causes the bleed press to climb to ~38 PSI. With APU bleed, and both bleed valves and both packs shut down, I expect to see a fairly high press, which should then drop when either/both packs are turned on. Oddly, selecting either start switch to GND also causes the bleed press to climb from this configuration.

Hello all. Something just came to me while I was flying over Cuba on the way to Jamaica. On some of the in flight videos I have seen I notice that when pilots stop the aircraft at the gate they seem to do something whch, I assume resets the trim to a deffault setting. I say this because the wheel seems to spin franticly before coming to a stop. Is this the case or does it serve some other purpose? Have I just imagined this? And also while I am thinking about it does the NGX do this? I am looking about my pedestal as I type and not even getting a hint of anything relating to this. Not terribly important it was just a thought but if anyone can shine some light on this rath…

I've setup my Active Sky with DWC and I'm noticing a lot of AT movement on cruise ... it rapidly switch from 78% NG to 80% to maintain FMS speed but it's very annonying and unnecessary because I simply cut off AT and maintain 80.5% and just live with the airspeed juggling +/- 2-3 kts, or am I dead wrong and in real life the autothrottle is always moving and trying to maintain +/- 1kts. I've been encountering several CTD's related to g3d.dll. I think I got that one solved, but now I get sound.dll that sends me back to desktop. I fly online and only have this with the PMDG. What does the short field package actually do to the performance of the aircraft? Tried it several times but i am not sure what i should be looking for? I am currently on a Round the World expedition with my NGX and will be needing some short field help in the coming legs. Any ideas? My RTW journey is about 95 legs in total.
