So after getting fed up about my OOMs, I reached the point of sheer desperation and went all out trying to find a solution, I started with my sliders and fsx.cfg with no success, I increased Virtual Ram... All to no success...Now I know the guys at PMDG strive for excellence and nothing less, and I commend them, but to the detriment of some my eyecandy, I had to actually be able to use my aircraft.So I went all out, spent the whole day today, trying to find out how I might solve this problem. Hi I would like to use one of my Saitek X52 joystick buttons to deploy the HGS. When I use the FMC CDU to assign a key command it doesn't recognise a joystick button. I don't want to use the SST software to achieve this, I'm sure I'm missing something simple. Any help appreciated.

Hi, everyone! After quite a long time sailing virtual skies I decided that it would be prudent to learn how to properly create a flightplan. Until now I was using software Wilco/FeelThere PIC 737 and I didn't have a need for learning how to create a flightplan in FMC or to use SID and STARS and so on. Now, though, the new NGX is out and I really want to fly this bird properly. When you create a flightplan in FSX and then use it to make a flightplan by manually inserting waypoints in the FMC, you should get a flightplan that ATC will follow. The problem is that ATC does not understand STARS, for instance, so it gives you instructions that you will obviusly not follow and t…

I am doing an "across the pond flight" from EGKK at the moment and have found a number of minor problems. The flight has involved a number of saves and restarts using Radar Contact 4. Forgive me if these points have been discussed before. 1. After a while, I noticed that the fuel temp gauge was reading +55, full scale, all the time. I do remember after take off that it ws reading correctly at about +20. 2. The electrical hyd pumps 1 and 2 had two failure placards lit, OVERHEAT and LOW PRESSURE. I looked at the QRH manual and switched both pumps off, but the placards remained lit. I then looked at the failure section in the CDU and was surprised to find that this was flagg…

Hi all! I've searched for this, but can't seem to find anything similar. I create my flightplans with fscommander and then insert the waypoints in the fmc, but some of them come up with the error "waypoint not in database".This can be solved by updating the database right? But how does one do this? Thanks!

Hey guys, when you select direct to a waypoint that is below 10000ft, for example the IAF for an instrument approach while you are at cruise altitude, is it normal for the FMC to delete the 240/10000 restriction on the descent page?ok, well it seems that it gets deleted after selecting an instrument approach procedure with hard altitude and speed restrictions at the fixes, and i cannot re-enter the speed restriction in the descent page.....any ideas as to why this is so or if it is normal?

It seems that the only way I get the throttle to idle is to hit F1 If I do it with my throttle on my yoke it only comes back half way? Might it be my yoke or am I doing something wrong.If I do it with mouse click it only will do half throttle. Thanks

Was going to try the Short Field Package on Key West which has a runway length of 4801 ft. Then I came across the articles below. GOL operates 737-NGs out of Santos at 4,341 ft. It also said the short field package was designed for GOL so they could land 737-NGs at this airport. Heading down there tomorrow to check out Tropicalsim SBRJ. So for you hardcore 737-NGX Pilots who have tried everything else, this airport may just test how good you really are. Hi Everyone I did an unstall of FSInn due to some issues with another aircraft. Since I've reinstalled it, I have noticed that shortly after take off, the 737NGX swaying kinda from left to right sometimes as much as 20 degrees finding it hard to stay on course. It all happens unitl the aircraft exceeds 23K feet. I have disabled weather in FSInn and have disabled FSX weather. Is there something that I am missing? Thank you >> Warren

Hi AllI've had a very annoying problem with my recent flights on the NGX. Whilst the aircraft is climbing above 10,000ft, an alert (buzzer) will be raised. The most frustrating thing is that no error warning is displayed so you have no idea what is causing it. Example Video: I realised it was to due with the pressurization failure from the comments on that video. The thing is, I toggled some of the switches (L/R Air Packs) and the alert would not stop, then I toggled some of the bleed air switches and the alert still persisted. I even toggled with the 'Q' sound on/off key just in case FSX was stuck in a loop but that did not fix the situation.Eventually after more togg…

In the Fmc now, afeter installing latest hotfix, I can't save neither load a panel state. And the same, I can't load a start-up situation I.E to save a panel state I write the file name in the "save state" page, the name was transferred in the dotted line and lighted, but does'nt appear any "save" button to click, only the "erase" button. If I want to load a panel state, I choose it from the list, it was lighted, but I've only a "cancel" button, not a "load" button.I've tried to check in the list if there is my new saved panel state, and obviously, it was not.Thank youLucaItaly
