Hi to the PMDG team and anyone else reading, are there any plans for lowres repaints? I know you talked about a cockpit texture resize project, but I've just resized my external textures and my OOMs are out the door.SO can this be a simple solution to those with OOMs?I have taken the liberty to resize all my external textures to about 1024*x, and my Out of Memories are gone, no lag either, I hope I haven't violated any rules....My VC textures have also been resized to 1024, with a minute change in visibility, (That being I can read all)

After following this forum since day one, I have to ask myself...... are people doing everything they can to "dislike" an find "faults" in this product? I have had NO problems what so ever, so far, neither flying nor adding liveries. Why? Probably because I haven't tweaked, tweaked, tweaked and tweaked my FSX. I READ the installation instructions and followed them. I have NOT tried to go "behind the panels" and figure out/test "what happens if.../why". It is totally impossible for a developer to test 100:s of thousand PC combinations, tweaks and user faults. Once a PC-guru told me that, in his opinion, 99% of all errors are sitting 2 feet behind the keyboard!! So true! Le…

I have noticed if I start the computer, then the NGX and fly....it's kinda jerky, framerate is so so... but more pauses and hesitations as I fly.... then, I shut down FSX and restart it immediately, the NGX is smooth, less stutters and totally enjoyable, and I can keep VC around 25 to 30 fps, landing in KATL or other complex terminal... with scenery on VD, and autogen on N(normal) the frame rate variability was about 16% for the first flight after bootup, yet, on the 2nd execution of FSX, it is smoother, like only 8% or so, and frame rates remain a few notches higher... anyone else seen this? Hello, As I land the NGX, a long beep-sounding alarm goes off, and it can only be switched off by selecting the flaps to 15, resulting in a fast landing. Any suggestions on how to manage this properly would be greatly appreciated.

Acouple minutes ago I started a flight in my NGX, FIAD - KORD to be specific, and it's not the first time it has happened but, shortly after takeoff my sky (The Atmosphere) Started having squares in it, and my tail and engines, started turning black, along with the land and autogen, Everything was black, upon switching to the externam view, I realized my aircraft was slowly deteriorating, it was the skeleton effect, but just the cabin was off, and the chairs exposed, engines still black, however everything inside was normal, until my cockpit started freezing...Any tips? Specs found in Signature, and yes I have Highmemfix applied...

Has anyone added the shockwave lighting to the NGX yet? any known issues if yes?

This is an outstanding aircraft!!!! However integration with hardware has been a little painfull... buttons/switches have been assigned with trial and error.Axis assignment was easier with the exception of the elevator trim axis. No matter the settings I use, trim remains within a vary narrow range even with full motion of the axis. Sometimes, indeed, trim moves in only one direction (only nose up or only nose down) even with forward/backward movement of the axis. We really need a SDK soon. Any help would be appreciated. Some times the 737ngx freeze in flight. No mouse action posible and the screen is light grey. I have to restart again. This happens several times and I don´t no what is wrong. Also in landing LOWI the trottle will not decrease to 22% its hang on 32%. The LOWI strip is short so its diffiicult to stop with to much power. Prosessor I7 and a fast system with lot of framerate. How can help me

Hey All, I was curious to see if anyone else was experiencing this odd issue. When I boot up FSX, load the NGX, and get ready to fly...sometimes all "clicks" stop working. No keys on the CDU register, or on the MCP or DU range/selection controls. Any screen the CDU was on in 2D, does not appear on the VC, and the VC CDU is non-clickable too. I usually use 2D for the FPS advantage. I'll do my ultra quick get ready. BATT ON, STBY BATT AUTO, EMERGENCY LIGHTS AUTO, APU Start. After the APU is started, I'll select the APU GEN power sources, and then turn on the bleeds and packs, and equip fans. I'll set the IRS's to ALIGN, and start programming the CDU. This is simply a huge thank you to all of the team members at PMDG who made this plane possible. It is truly an awesome experience and so much fun to learn and fly. A giant thanks to the support team members who have helped me, and countless others with technical issues that many of us have experienced. You guys have worked your butts off and it truly shows. Fellow simmers, So far, the NGX is running okay on my system (WIN7 64, 2600K @ 4.6, GTX260). But when I switch from window mode to full screen, the whole screen turns black, and FSX crashes to desktop. No matter where I fly, with or without other addons, it only happens when flying NGX!Did others experience the same? Is this a bug? Thanks!

Well i know that this has been talked about in about 100 threads but i am seeing this everyday know even with the sliders on middle instead of to the right and was wondering if it is possible to narrow the problem down to a graphiccard problem or a CPU or RAM problem ? My system is I7-950@4,2HD5870 1GBSSD 128GB w7-64Raptor 300GB /FSX,ENB,UTX,GEX,UT2 35%,REX HD2048 0%FSX traffic,60NM clouds,Autogen Normal, water low 2x ,everything else to the right,no shadows etc.6GB 1600 Dominator RAM 7--7-20 ThanksMichael

After touch down on roll out I disengage the autobrake,however the aircraft still comes to a complete halt even though I disconnect it . Should it not disengage once I switch it off and or after I touch the brakes?The reversers are stowed at the point of disconnection yet the aircraft still comes to a complete halt.Im sure I am doing somethin wrong?

Just wanted to tell you guys at PMDG, wow you hit the nail on the head here. I was an airline pilot for about 5 years, ended up leaving the profession for personal reasons. I did get to fly some cool airplanes though, mostly EMB-170, and EMB-175, obviously I flew a ton of smaller planes as well. I just completed hour 10 in this airplane and it is the most stable and most reliable add on for FSX yet. That doesn't account for the small little details that makes this thing make me sweat like I am sitting in a Level D simulator. Well, the accident was in 1999, with a 737-200. The pilots forgot to set flaps to take off..... So, i put the NGX in the RW13 of SABE airport, with full fuel and full cargo and passengers, but flaps in zero. Then, max thrust, and almost in the end of the rw, the plane starts climbing..... Is this a "simulation limitation" of the NGX or FSX?? Thanksss

Hello guys, I'd like to know if Throttle Quadrant (simple one, without throttles and trim wheel) will be added to SP1 accordingly to the poll we made some weeks ago, with huge win in favour to it. This information will be the difference between buying -600/-700/BBJ and not buying at all. At this moment, at least in my case, I have only one sound issue (which most people seem to have), that I reported here in the forum. Hope to be fixed too, but this issue is not going to be important to my decision. Thank you in advance.

Hello, I am often during the descent when the speed drops below that indicated in FMC engines go up and stay up until autothrottle disarmament. has already happened to someone?thanks

I love the lights on the NGX and want to put them on other aircrafts but when i look in the aircraft.cfg file only the vc lights are there does any one know where to locate all the lights for the ngx?? Thanks, Josh Katz

Hello folks, I did my first Radar Contact flight today and i ran into some wiered stuff with the MCP. Now the ATC started vectoring me away from my FMC route about 5nm from my ToD. After a while i get to contact approach and chose an IAP approach, to try and get back on my route. Question 1: When i chose a heading to fly so i could intercept my route again(because LNAV wouldnt let me engage it, my guess is i was to far away from the FMC route) the actual heading that the plane would fly was 5 degrees of from what i set in the MCP. How come? Question 2: Later on i canseled the IAP approach(got to messy trying to get back on the FMC route) and requested a vectored approach…

Once you have the 737NGx installed, what is the first flight you are going to fly with it? I was thinking of a several hour taking test flight to discover and test all the features :)

Hi I am trying to start the NGX via the air unit, always have plenty of duct pressure for one engine to start but when trying to start the other engine air duct pressure drops and cant get past 19 % N2, anybody done this, thanks

How do I set the reverse on my saitek proflight throttle for the NGX? I assigned the engine quick decrease (F2 key) to one of the throttle lower end of the axis position and set the slider to repeat but can't manage to put the plane in full reverse. Thanks in advance for the help Karim
