For those who dare to take risk and not afraid to void the warrant of their Saitek yoke.... For the last two years, I have never been happy with my Saitek Yoke...Pitch and Roll have been terrible! Now, thanks to Kenneth Weir and his guidance to remove those two springs which control pitch and roll. My Saitek Yoke is now like wings of angel NGX..so smoooth..and responsive!. I can not explain the joy to precisely fly SID on manual. What you need to do is just remove those two springs and replace the big spring which control roll with a cheaper 'rubber band". FSX continues to freeze and a hard reboot is necessary. This can be reproduced when scrolling thru the FMS legs page after the aircraft has been airborne for an hour or more. Great aircraft if I could just find a way to keep it in the air.... The logs do not show any error. XFX 780i motherboard, with Q9650 processor o/c to 4.08 GB Corsair RAMEGVA GTX 480 video card - factory o/cAll watercooled, including processor, north and south bridge, video card I have tried flying this aircraft without TrackIR5 and any other add-ons, but the end result is the same. I have also applied the HIGHMEM=1 fix and tried several others. Same result. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi guys,I have just come out of surgery so I not on my home computer so won't be able to get a screenshot. But on the non winglet version of the 737-800 [i think i have the latest version] there is a definite vertical colour split around 1/3 down the fuselarge, from a darker colour to a lighter, I was wondering if there was going to be a fix for this.. Two more questions off topic,2a) Has repaints for the in house 800 and 900 stopped now? If not, what is planned? 2b) Can a sticky +LOCKED thread be made for the user paints, I would love to easily see what's been painted by the community and what the standard is like. I have the sounds set as per the Introduction Manual so hopefully they should be as PMDG recommends. However when I start the engines I can hardly hear them winding up, but when I turn on the Fuel Boost Pumps prior to starting the engines they are fairly loud considering they are buried in the wings. When I am in the VC and, via the FMC I deploy the airstairs, there is no sound of this at all. If I go to spot view I can see the airstairs deploying but still no sound (I have external sounds on). Then when I go back in the VC there is a sound which I'm sure is the airstair sound but it keeps going and, although I haven't let it go on for long, it does seem as if it would keep going. Pressing Q twice kills it. However, my point is that the airstair sound is not behaving as it should. Otherwise, Armen, all the other sounds are absolutely superb! Flying the Tutorialflight from EGKK to EHAM the second time and have the same problem with this "Alt Disagree" alert. From the QRH: The left PFD shows ~6300ft while the right PFD shows 20000ft. The plane climb sonly to FL 100-110 (because of this alert i think). Can someone help me with this problem? Sorry for my bad english.

Hello everybody, First of all, very nice Addon :) New Standard in Flight Simulation History i think. My Question: How can i assign keys of my Saitek Pro Flight Yoke to the 737ngx? There is a menu in the cdu for programming key but only for the keyboard.

Ok guys I think I need some advice here. I have been having some APU fault lights going on almost every time I started the APU. the QRH told me to shut down the APU and I did, and it worked.Secondly in the failure page, there is one active! It says "nose tire balance" and there is nothing about this in the QRH. I chose to take off anyways, and am now enroute to Tampa from DFW.is it safe? What can I do to correct the imbalance? Also I noticed my HYD and OIL qty running a bit lower Than I remembered, currently in flight the oil qty is at 89% and 88%.HYD QTY is 71% and 93%, but the pressure is normal(3000).Am I wron?Ps. I looooooove is aircraft!!!!

Is anyone having a problem with the clickspot for the HUD? The WestJet 737NGX livery doesn't seem to have the clickspot yet loading the AA or Delta it works fine? Any help is appreciated - Lyle

i asked before but nobody replyied. if i hand fly the aircraft on an approach and the A/P is disengaged (by pressing the diseng. bar or press cmd/a button to off) if i use more stick pressure on elevation the autopilot still trims the pitch. at least i can hear the trim wheel sound. am i doing something wrong? i think manual flying should implement me using the pitch trim. tarik

As you can see, my A/P readings are "misaligned" with the selector boxes. Also, some lights on the overhead aren't aligned right either. Now, i cant complete a flight because this happens every time. I have a high-end system, running a registered version of FSUIPC. Alex Vanover

Hello I've been trying to create a video using fsrecorder, featuring the 737ngx. However whenever I start the recording(after navigating the recording menus) the game does not re-load properly. Instead it will only load half of the cockpit, sometimes the plane is invisible, sometimes building and scenery textures are missing, and sometimes it's just a black screen!Note: this also happens occaisonaly on just loading the flight straight from the free flight menu.Thank you all for any help so much, i'm really stuck here.

Hi, Playing along with the NGX Im practicing touch and go's by hand (only autothrottle).Not really touch because the FMC loses all the input when the wheels touch the ground.Takeoff is working fine. Spool until 40% N1, then the toga switch and there she goes.But... (of course there is a but) Coming in over the threshold, when the NGX is aprox 50ft above the runway. I engage TOGA and then... "the infamous Panelfreeze".Tried it by clicking on the hidden spot, by assigning another key command, with joystick, without joystick, deleted FSUIPC, disabled REX weather. Using the FMC/CDU, I want to program a path where 1) I fly from my current position to a point on JFK/R-045 50 miles from JFK, 2) then I want to ride R-045 to JFK. For #1 I upselect custom waypoint "JFK045/050"...no problem here. How do I do # 2? Thanks,Zach

I wonder if it is possible to listen two frequencies VHF at the same time. Example: radio operator panel on the left side (VHF1) Com1 on Unicom 122.800 and radio operator panel on the right-hand side, (VHF2) Com2 on a Atis frequency.

Hi, All Maybe some one can give me a hint. I tried today 2 flights, VABB to VOCI and VOCI to VIDP . Take off and initial climb /cruise works fine, no problems there. Than preperations for decent and landing that is where the problems start.FMC entries oke , runway star etc. Than decending , switching from Vc and 2d panel freeze of simulation resulting in restart of FSX. Does any body has the same problem, or a fix to this? I read on the forum that it happens to more people. Hi all, I'm attempting to utilize the 737 Checklists compiled by Michael Swannick, and wanted to know if thereare any diagrams of the flightdeck that will mirror or clearly identify each of the items in the checklistand the corresponding specific section of the flightdeck where that item can be located. I have the manuals that were provided with the NGX but haven't seen diagrams of each section ofthe flightdeck (ie MC Panel, Throttle Quadrant, Overhead Forward etc) and a label identifier on eachinstrument within that panel/area.
