Hi All I was having an issue until i did some research on the internet, when you start an engine with the air start you must run up the operating engine to around 35-40% to supply sufficient compressed air for a cross bleed start the other engine, I initially thought you could start both with the air unit but is realistic very well modeled

After clearing my CMOS BIOS by the clear RAM jumper and removing the battery from the P8P67 Asus motherboard I got all defaults loaded and my Ms7 with FSX system back. However when I want to load a PMDG 737NX I got the message to activate the NGX product which to me is odd in the first place. But entered my product key in order to activate the selected 737NGX. This plane loads partialy and the activation message is repeated again. All stock FSX planes and other payware like Level-D and Correnado run fine. I planed to use FAC and G/P mode to land. And FAC and G/P mode was activated. But I thought my condition is not good, so I did try to change the mode to LAND3 mode (VOR/LOC, G/S) for full auto land. And I did input correct ILS FRQ and I clicked the VOR/LOC button on MCP pannel. But nothing chagnes. Still FAC G/P mode was activated, and at 500 feet I manualy controled my airplane and landed. Sorry my poor English. FAC G/P -----------> VOR/LOC G/S how? :) Thank you for watching my question.

Hi,So I've set the NGX up, everything is were it's supposed to be (flaps, fuel pumps, ie). And Im ready to start the engines, so I do that...But heres the thing, my N2 is just stopping at 18.1%. And it doesn't get any higher, even when I flip the fuel cutoff switches to idle. Has anybody had this happen, cause this is the first time since I bought it.Thanks,

I just wondered what zoom value most of you set when in the VC. With some settings on the winglet model I can see the winglet over my left shoulder when in the left seat. Is this correct? Should this be seen? This is the problem with so many settings. Which one is best? I don't have TrackIR btw and don't want it. Iain Smith

I tried six times to fly a flight from KATL to KMSY, about a 1.5 hour flight. The first two flights resulted in a panel freeze about 12-15 minutes into the flight. The third flight resulted in a CTD after about 1 hour. The next three had panel freezes soon after takeoff. In trying to analyze what might be causing these freezes I tried many things that I suspected might be involved. On the seventh flight, I decided I would not interact with the CDU in any way during the flight. I would not even look at it!!! The only thing I did with it was load fuel. I did not even adjust the payload. Once I did that I kept my hands off it. Of course I had no flight info in the …

I'm spending a small fortune trying to do the NGX justice. I just upgraded my joystick to a CH Eclipse Yoke (Happy Birthday to ME), and I can't believe I actually used the joystick for so long. The eclipse has a gazillion possible button combinations (240 is the real number), and I've been scrambling my brain for the last few days trying to map (get it?) a strategy for assigning the buttons to the proper operations. I've investigated the options in FSX (direct, but too restrictive), FSUIPC (Good Lord, what a monster), and the CH Manager (might be a good compromise). Hello PMDG & Users,Bought the 737NGX on the 14/8/11, up still now still can’t fly because it about 30seconds from starting the flight. The dam thing it crashes my computer. Getting a PO haven’t flown it yet. The version purchased & downloaded was V1.00.2888 & have since d/loaded again to version V1.00.2922. & still same issue.I’ve spent more time searching the forums than flying 737NGX. Can PMDG or some please help? I haven’t installed any liveries both listed on PMDG nor other flightsim webs.I have all the other PMDG aircraft for FSX, & no trouble with at all. Thanks MattG

What does the phrase "10 and trail" or maybe it's "10 in trail". Does that mean that aircraft A is 10 miles behind Aircraft B? im working on my private license (about half way done), and in the process I don't hear this particular phrase where I fly. I do however hear it when i listen on LiveATC for example. Can someone give me some info/ insight?! Thanks,Mitch Bowman

All I can say is wow. Wasn't expecting that! I'm unsure if it was PMDG or FS Passengers that decided to break a window at FL350, is there a way to find out? I only have service based failures on. All passengers and crew survived; as for the NG, well lets just say the engineers won't be too happy with these Tech Log entries: *Cabin crew reported crack in cabin window at 35 000ft, QRH Emergency Descent and Rapid Depressurization Non Normal Checklists completed. *Crew and passenger Oxygen masks deployed. *"Off sched descent" annunciated. Hey All, I have three quick and easy questions. 1. Is there anyway/anywhere to change the "tilt" of the 2D panel permanently (cfg file etc), rather than always having to hit "CTRL Q" and guess? To be useable, tilting down is a necessity! 2. Using the Bojote (*******) website as suggested by the manual, it suggests using a different FPS limiter. Anyone know how to use this limiter exactly? 3. Is there a click spot (I can't find any) to go between the 2D overhead, to the 2D aft overhead and back again? Thanks a bunch! I'm absolutely loving this plane, it has easily become my favorite (and also the best) airliner for FS! -K

Hi I have been trying to get this great plane to work for the past 24 hours but no Joy. I can select the plane in the menu but every time I push "Fly now" FSX crashes after loading 4%.It looks like a fault in the Windows runtime libraries. I will appreciate any and I mean any suggestions except reinstall of FSX and or WIN 7.

I finally finished building my first ever computer with all brand new parts except for the video card. (see specs below). It is mainly only for the PMDG 737NGX. The first big suprise was how well the jolly ole GTX460 card has performed. I had intended to get a GTX570 at Christmas but after seeing what the 460 can do may be I will save the money instead!?. I have loaded up Orbx AU Blue, Green and Gold with YMML, YBBN and YSCB, REX for clouds, Active Sky Evolution and I use Plan-G along with Ezdok Camera. Although I have Load Limiter I am not using it. Hi i dont know if this has been talked about but im wanting to build a new PC for the NGX and ORBX. I built my current Rig in 2007 it still runs good with its 8800GTX Card but its starting to Struggle with the NGX. Im getting between 13-18 Frames in the NGX VC Panel. Its been almost 5 years since my last Build so im not realy up to date with the Current vidio cards and GPU,s Im looking at spending $2500 -$3000 Australian Dollars ( $2600-$3100 USD )I basicly want the Biggest Bang for my Buck.Im wanting at least 30 frames a sec in the NGX VC panel at airports like ORBX YMML with all the Scenery settings Maxed out.Any advice would be Great? It seems there is a "window focus" problem when you have more than one monitor installed, and you move the cockpit or some other display to another monitor, and click on it. You still hear the outside engine sounds, but all cockpit sounds (air blowing, button clicks) go silent. To reproduce: 1. Install second monitor on system, choose "extend desktop" in Windows settings so it's a connected desktop2. Run FSX in full screen3. Go to 2D cockpit, move cockpit to the second monitor and expand outside view to all of first monitor4. Click on anything in the cockpit. Note you lose cockpit sounds.5. How can i get louder callouts? Also i think the warning sounds are too low. 100% is the highest in sound settings - so do i have to lower all the others?

Why does the INBD & LOWER DU BRT controls have dual concentric rotary controls. ? The Outer/lower control, is the actual Brightness control. What does the Inner/Upper rotary knob do ? Note: The OUTER DU BRT has only the signle Rotary control (not a Dual Concentric one) Edited: OK, found the answer. The Inner Brightness control controls the Brightness of the WEATHER displayed data.As the PMDG 737NGX does not display "weather", their rotation has no effect in the PMDG Model.
