Hi,I tried to search for status of the SDK, but didn't find anything. Is it still real soon now?Last I read was that that a laywer had to look at it, but has there been more info since then?I don't need the SDK for myself, I just hope it can be released so we can get FS2Crew for Christmas :)Pweaase Santy! Am I the only one that has this much trouble installing these liveries? Every time I have installed them, I install them using the manager, but then they don't show up, so I have to manually go into the .cfg and edit them, install one, copy and paste the data into a notepad, install the other one (which then erases the other one), then go back in and manually put the info in.Just wondering if anyone else has this problem?

Hi,Anybody experience the problem of when switching sound sources in the PMDG options page, all PMDG sounds stop working even if I switch back to primary speakers. I couldn't find anything searching. I'll submit a ticket if there is no quick fix. It may be system related. Thanks,Doug Wilson

Just for the sake of continuous improvements made to the most wonderful simulation ever, I would like to suggest a couple of graphic enhancements that I suppose PMDG could easily implement, since I did experience those in other less sophisticated simulations:1. Rain/snow drops on the wind shield during that weather conditions. I have seen this with the FeelThere 737CL, where they have provided a list of image files to be put somewhere inside the airplane folder, which would give finally a very beautiful view of running rain drops along the wind shield during rainy weather in the VC.2. More magnificent airplane exterior lights that resemble those of the iFly 737NG. On ano…

Hi,I suppose there probably is a stupid solution to my problem that I'm just overlooking, but my HUGS won't display anything, its just a piece of virtual glass(or whatever it is)Doing KATL-KICT, and just set the HUGs up for landing, A III arm is set.Any help?

After updating to the latest Patch, I tried a short flight from Gatwick to Jersey in the -800WL. With both Packs and the Isolation Valve at Auto and the cruise level of FL180 set in the Pressurisation panel, the Cabin Rate of Climb Indicator remained at Zero throughout the climb. I had the impression this was fixed witth the new patch. Fixed several issues involving incorrect pressurization differentials. Fixed several cabin climb rate indicator issues.Glen

Sorry if this question has been asked already, but does can the 900 produce the same amount of reverse thrust as other NG's? When I engage reverse thrust for the 900, I notice that max N1 is only approximately 62-64% and the reverse thrust levers are restricted to the first detent. The 600-800 have N1 values of around 82% for maximum reverse thrust and the reverse thrust levers move fully up as shown in the FCOM (7.20.17). I could not find any information in the FCOM about a difference for the 900. Does the 900 have reduced reverse thrust compared to the other NG's or is it a problem with my setup or operation of the aircraft? Sp1b is installed and I have screenshots, but…

I never thought that this test would work correctly in the NGX, as lots of 737 engineers do not know it in real life!!Here it goes: Sometimes a hydraulic comonent called brake shuttle valve, happens to have some internal leak. This causes hydraulic fluid from different systems, to leak into one another, causing at the end a decrease in the hydraulic quantity of one system, and an overfill in the other system. There no procedure in the AMM to correct such hydraulic quantity unbalance, except by draining and refilling. But experienced maintenance people know a little trick. That is to operate the parking brake and release it several times using only system A pressure, if you…

Captains-Okay- I am finally back in the office for a few days after what has been a miserable 8 weeks of nearly constant motion. (With more to come next week...argh...)A few quickies for you just to keep you updated on goings-on around the NGX development process:PMDG 737NGX SP1b:=================We are anticipating giving another version of the SP1b to our testing team on Sunday/Monday. We still have a couple of really high order items that we are working with (IRS drift modes and A/P interaction with various failed IRS modes, and that kind of stuff...) and then we'll be rolling this one out the door for you.We have probably 50 or so tweaks in this update- most of whic…

If I ever had to say "I love you" to someone (except from a girl...), it would be PMDG. They are by FAR the best add-on developer out there for the flight simulator community. Fact is, that they do not only create an outstanding product, but they just continue to give us support, and improve the product until it's perfect. I know so many game developers (e.g. Codemasters for F1 2011), that just release a game, with many bugs and problems, and after that say. "Ok, game released, deal with it, bye." With PMDG it's so different. They release a great product, which had some problems upon release, but after it, they listen to our feedback, reply to our questions, and try to…

Well I don't know about you guys/gals but this just keeps getting better and better. I have such a great time with this aircraft and I have over 200+ hrs with it and can't wait for the next flight. I must say this is by far the best thing to happen to flight simming since it's conception! I know some of you are having some issues but 90% of all the problems start with the person in front of the computer. I have had some issues like freezing way back when and a couple of hic-ups along the way ,but when you get right down to it ,it is magnificent. This last effort by PMDG just goes to show that they do listen to us and try their best to overcome the problems that arise with…

Hi, I couldn't help but notice that when I was on the ground with all the hydraulic pumps turned off I was still able to adjust the trims as if I had full hydraulic power?! I'm no expert on the 737 NG, but I always thought that to use the stab trim you needed to have at least one hydraulic system pressurised?! I do know that this is indeed the case on the 747-400 as I have a lot of sim experience on the type, including being a pilot for UK Worldflight for the past 4 years. Surely with a tailplane the size of the 737's it would need power to move it?

Hi,I've seen on several real life pictures that the FMC thrust mode on the upper EICAS is showing "---" if there is no thrust setting selected, alternatively also above the N1 compressor speeds.I guess this is a software version related thing - would it be possible to include it in the future? With the NGX it's either showing TO or nothing as default (can be setup within the a/c options)The attached picture shows what I mean. Thanks,Robert

Not sure what all got fixed in SP1b that might have solved my problem but whatever it was awesome! I was always lagging really bad when flying into FSDT KLAX and had a few video card driver crashes as well. But today I was able to get in there with no issues whatsoever! I also flew 3 flights today with SP1b installed. KIAH to KABQ - KABQ to KDEN - KDEN to KLAX and everything was flawless and smooth as silk. Great Job PMDG!

I am thinking about buying the 600/700 package. I really don't have a specific short field or anything that I need to fly it into so this is more of an upgrade to get different flying characteristics in the NG series. So my question is this: Do you really notice a big difference between say the 800 and 700 when flying in the sim? Do you think your purchase was worthwhile and do you recommend it to others? Now that you have both which version of the NG to you find yourself flying the most?Mark.

Hi all,Have just been getting in to mouse macros via fsuipc as a way to interface my hardware (mostly goflight) and the ngx. With sp1, these worked brilliantly! There were hardly any controls that i couldnt map. Post sp1b, most of my existing macros dont work...so i have to recreate new ones. That's fine, but what is worrying me more is that i didnt seem to be able get he cdu ones to work at all. There were a few other critical things hat also no longer seemed possible to set up.I'm wondering if this is a deliberate or necessary code change. Anyone else using mouse macros for hardware/ngx interfacing? Is it working for you, or do you have a better way of doing all this eg …

Greetings all,I am trying to program the following route from KEWR-KBOS.....MERIT ORW ORW082 PVD263 PVD ORW3. I would assume that after ORW, I fly the 082 degree radial until intercepting the PVD263 radial, and then turn direct to PVD. How do I program this into the FMC? I tried ORW082 and ORW/082, and couldnt get it to work. What is the correct way of doing it? Many thanks.
