I can't seem to be able to display the vertical deviation scale and pointer in the ND. I tried looking in the display options but couldn't find it.any thoughts?

Morning to alli write this post because i want describe you an A/P's problem, problem caused, probably, by me.Well, the situation is the follow:"CMD A" button is on and active as F/D and A/T are active too.Flight level 100, SPD active, LNAC active too.Now, for one any reason, i decide to take the cloche and dive the aircraft (the truth is that my son, 2 years, look at me, little smile, and grabs the stick in 3 seconds )Ok, after this the alarm A/P starts to ring and then i switch it off. Posting this here because you guys are so clued up about most things flight sim related. I currently have a few World of AI packages installed from about two years ago, but I've forgotten everything I ever knew about it and I'm thinking of dumping it and getting a payware AI for FSX. What's the best one in your opinion?Or is it worth refocusing on WOAI and refreshing it all?

Hi y'all...I just notice that my fan blades are not working. I thought it was just the livery but it been on the last 3 flights with different liveries. Also I can't get the lights to go on,landing.taxi or any other except for the the left side wing light which stays on all the time. Something is amiss. I have had absolutely no problems with the NGX until now.I hope there is a solution besides doing a complete reinstall. Could it be from all the liverys I have downloaded? I do have all most all of them. This happens in the 800WL. I have yet to try 900WL or the 8/900 non WL. Please advise...ThanksRick

Hi All,Having a problem with taxi speed and feel that it's not with the 737-800 NGX but somehow with my set up. Would greatly appreciate your help. Here is an example of a flight. Fuel load of 25%, payload consisting 87/174 Passengers1678Kg cargo for the front and 2041kg cargo in the rear. Here in lies the problem. When starting taxi it will begin to move between 23% and 24% N1 and if brakes are not used speed wil gradually pickup to about 20 knots. However when brakes are applied the Ngx will not begin to move again until an increase to about 28% N1 and she'll just crawl along at a rate of 1 knot not picking up speed until more thrust is appled. Ok, I am a frequent flyer on Alaska Airlines so I spend a lot of time on the 700s, 800s and 900s they drive.I can't remember ever being on a flight where the pilot is sitting on the spoilers as much as I am having to do to slow the planes down in VNAV. I'm even having to use the spoilers when I'm at Flaps1 with the LE slats down.Are they starting their descent earlier than recomened by VNAV? It would have to be by 30 - 50 NM though to have much difference in the speeds on descent.I'm using TopCat to set fuel amounts so I'm not overloading the plane with fuel on descent.Would appreciate some help on how to slow these slippery birds down.Colin Ware - Seattle

Guys, I am disappointed with my FSX. It gets stuck after exactly every 50 seconds for 5 seconds!. It will repeat again after exactly 50 seconds for another 5 seconds again and again. Apart from that issue, everything is fine.

Hi folks,Since HF4 I noticed this strange behaviour of the terrain radar once before over the channel.I flew from EHEH to EGSS. The route was quiet short: REFSO UL980 XAMAN P49 IDESI.The picture #1 shows a complet green. The ND range was set to 40. The plane is 8.8 before REFSO.The picture #2 was taken some seconds later. The ND range was set to 80 and the green was gone.The picture #3 shows the same position with the ND on range 20. Works fine. But as soon as I changed the range to 40 again everything turned green.The picture #4 shows the ND set to range 40 shortly before the fix IDESI. Hi guys,Just a quick question about the cabin climb/landing altitude selector on the overhead panel. Would setting a landing altitude way out from the actual airport altitude register a pressure difference on the pressure gauge after landing? And if so, can this be rectified by setting the pressurisation system to manual and opening/closing the outflow valve to equalise the cabin?Sincerely,

Hi fellow simmers, I have been simming for maybe 14 years. I am 74 years old and this is a passion with me. I have used FS 9 since it came out. Been using PMDG since it became available. Marvelous product, so real. I had my Private Pilot license and used to fly a C172 for several years, until I couldn't pass my medical for my license. About 5-6 months ago I got FSX and installed it. So I had an IRS fail. I went through the procedures and I understand the redundancy on the 73 with two IRS and two FMC's. For the life of me I am unable to to get one IRS to command one FMC to Allow Auto Flight reingagement.Someone correct me if I am wrong, but shouldn't one functioning and aligned IRS be able to satisfy the FMC to allow the 73 ng to operate on limited autoflight?So at cruise, I lost the left IRS. At that moment I lost the left PFD and ND. This should happen, since the captains side is being fed by the left FMC, which is also being given data from the left IRS. Hi everyone,I've already opened a PMDG issue ticket on this, but also figured I'd post here and see if anyone else has seen this. I get the following message whenever I try to use the internal FSX menu: FSX.exe - Entry point not found "The procedure entry point GetProcessHandleFromHwnd could not be located in the dynamic link library OLEACC.dll." This started happening after i reinstalled the NGX SP1 without first unintsalling (dumb I know) to try to fix some texture issues I was having. I then did 2 full uninstall/reinstall cycles. Why does it take almost 4 days to reset my license key? I know the keys are mend to avoid piracy, however it is a pain for paying customers!!! If I have a look on any newsserver, I will have a working pmdg 737, however because I paid for it and reinstalled my pc a couple of times, I have to wait to use my PAID software.
