HI just flew with sp1b installed. EGGD to ENVA. Great flight, no problems and smoother than before. Great work,However land in ENVA was a little choppy with snow piling down. On landing the left main indercarriage buried itself into the tarmac. Is this a cool feature, or a glitch?. Hello,finally Im going to save the NGX onto a disk. My question is what files do I save? The downlaod and installation or the PMDG 737 NGX files which are inside the PMDG folder?My download link has expired and I think Ive cleared the download list (uh oh) so if thats the case what should I do?

Hi,Today I decided to look around in the NGX, to see which things I still don't really understand, or things that I'm still not entirely sure about, so here are the questions.1. Which minimums to set for takeoff?On my checklist it says that I have to set minimums for takeoff, but I can't find any on my SID chart. Sometimes though, in the legs page, I see a first altitude in magenta. e.g. (486), is that the minimums for takeoff? And when should I use RA and BARO? Hi,I have a question concerning necessary actions for managing center fuel tank pumps. It's rather a small detail, but it made me think about this.FCOM offers three alternative procedures with respect to center tank pumps management for climb/cruise: I understand NGX has automatic shutoff logic, so the only thing we should worry about is to turn center tank pumps off when low pressure gets illuminated?One additional thing that puzzled me was the scavenge pump. It seems to be not working, at least in my case. I switched central pumps off after 2hrs of flight, but the fuel in central tanks keeps switching between 0.47 and 0.48. Hey guys, I often have screenshot contests on my forum and have had a couple here in Avsim in the past. Problem right now is lack of funds to grant any prizes. Anywho, I need to update my FSX Gallery and am looking for some NGX shots and any aircraft with nice dusk/night runway shots. I've gone through the Avsim screenshot and Rex forum but am still waiting on too many replies to put them up on my gallery. I just installed sp1b and now im having issues with my lights. Neither wing, logo, or the anti collison lights are showing up on the 700 model. I have it powered up by the APU and the switches are on. Any ideas? I hope I'm just doing something wrong, but all the other lights (cockpit/taxi/landing) all function correctly, so I'm thinking it's a bug.

With the new update recently the delivery manager never updated to 1.09 thus I had to uninstall everything, thus bought the extended download from the PMDG website for the base package 800 and 900 ngx, which I am awaiting for them to send the link sent in a ticket the other day.but for the exxpansion package of the ngx series 600 and 700 notice no extended download to purchase on the website. would that mean I would have to purchase that again ? You would think their would be an extended download for the addon as wellcan someone correct me on this ?

Hi I was just wondering what is missing from this simulation like the WX radar, and why isn't it included. And any other stuff I don't know about. It is a GREAT simulation, my favourite.

Hi,I cant load the NGX without FSX crashing. There was no problem what so ever before installing SP1b. Now I can't load it without CTD.

I am happy with my 11.9 drivers so this is just to hear if there is anything to gain in the NGX with 11.11 ?/Michael

Hi I have set my switches for Stab Trim and they work well I have cockpit tips turned on but cant see to see the setting that the stab trim is? Anyone have any ideas? As when i fly it says my stab trim setting is wrong. I used to get a little box telling me what the exact setting was ie 5.04 etc etc thanks Wayne

Hello -I'm not sure if this is really a problem with the NGX or if I completely missed something. I flew into KMCO the other day, no problem at all. Last night I updated my NGX to SP1b and departed KMCO this morning. I departed runway 36R and set up to turn left direct to RSW. After completing the turn I tuned on my Autopilot then my LNAV, then VNAV like I usually do. I had to click all three buttons twice each before they would engage (Yoke was centered and no control inputs were being put in at all). Hello guys,Today I experienced once more one of those OOM errors after landing in EDDF. After reducing some settings it's now seldom but it happens at big airports with some probability. Even if I was able to ignore the message till shutting down the sim regularly I would like to know some recommendations how to deal with settings without loosing the fun. As far I'm able to observe FSX is blowing up its memory use all the time during a flight. If too much AI traffic is the reason, I do not understand why I can start e.g. in Paris, Frankfurt, London or Amsterdam while having everything crowded with AI and building up the memory use without any changes. I searched the forums and cannot seem to find an answer. I am trying to paint the 800NGX from the paint kit. When I open up fuselage 1 the only layer listed is "layer 134." I am using Paint Shop Pro Photo X2. I have done other repaint with this program so I don't know what would be happening.

I originally installed the above update over SP1 as instructed and had a problem with a "dead FMC" from a cold and dark start. I have done the changes in the SAV files changing from 1 to 0 but still nothing. I decided to uninstall and start again with the base and loading the SP1b on top which I have done however I am encountering the same problem. Has anybody had the same problem, if so what do i need to do as prior to the latest update i have been one of the lucky ones with no problems

HiSince installing SP1b, I sometimes get "engine fail" in yellow lights over the engine gauges. Tonight it happened as I advanced my Saitek throttle levers on the take off roll. As the throttles advanced the message disappeared and the engines were fine. Has anyone else seen this?

Hi,Just installed the latest update SP1b and was impressed by the number of issue fixed! Opted for a clean installation just to make sure I have a 100% fresh installation and then I installed the Scandinavian Freja Viking livery but seems to be a problem with the Anti Collision lights because they remain steady ON and don't even pulse ON and OFF in a normal fashion but remains steady ON and this even when in a cold & dark state.Anyone else seen this or did something go wrong at my end maybe during the installation...?

If I select a runway and a SID how do I cancel it. Today I chose a runway then a SID and then it stated the SID did not go with the runway. When I tried to change the runway it woiuld not change.The only way to change it was start a new departure and arrival in the FMC.Surely there must be an easier method.Help if possible.Thank-you.Michael Houghton
