PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I finished my home cockpit from the month of July, coinciding with the release of NGX, I waited in these five months the output of the various service packs, but I can not make a complete flight because with panels purchased from opencockpits and VRinsight expects the release of the SDK. I thank you for PMDG baked simulator fabulous, but they are really depressed about not being able to complete my cockpit. I wrote that both Opencockpits VRinsight, but confirmed that the updates can not proceed for lack of SDK. Hi guys, quick one that has been bugging me for some time.I have always had a Vref 30 of around 139-140kts given to me by the FMC. I mostly fly around 80% payload with a landing fuel weight of around 1.5-1.7 tonnes. This has always seemed about 8-10kts too fast for me. Is anyone else of this opinion?I know it's not an exact thing and varies with many factors but should we be in high 130's generally? Or am I landing with too much fuel ?[let's not start a flame war - just interested if I have been way off on my numbers thus far]thanks

I just flew from KLAS to CYYC in the Westjet 800. The new update really delivered the goods. No idle thrust problem, proper attitude over the threshold, no floating for a quarter of a mile. The HUGS system is just amazing - I've done three solid approaches now with the heads up display.Great job PMDG. I'm loving flying this plane.Colin Ware, Seattle

Well I finally did it. Been practicing with the B738 for weeks now and finally it all came together. I took off from KLAX with text book taxi to runway 24L and using an assumed temperature takeoff, using Topcat it went perfect. After reaching FL340 I requested a step climb to FL380 and cranked up to M.800. Flew for about 5 1/2 hours across the Pacific and requested a descent back to FL340 around 150nm from BOARD where I followed ATC (PFE Proflight Emulator 2000) all the way down my STAR MAGGI3 to runway 08L. I am having a problem getting the FMC to display V speeds. What are the necessary steps to enable them to be displayed? I have gone through all the steps I thought were required based on various tutorials and in the past haven't had this problem but I must be missing something.Thanks

I have been playing about with all sorts of settings today..I used to have my ATI ccc settings to appilcation controlled.but last night i changed all that and asked the graphics card to control instead.I now have AA set to x8 and filter on wide tent x16AF x4i have anti - aliasing unchecked in FSXand triliner setim getting about 10%more perfoemcance at built up areas such as mega airports etc. average about 28 - 29 FPS in most cases alittle drop still in dense traffic but only down to about 25fpsThis is brilliant i guess it is not the case for most but thought i'd share..i did notice that the typo in the NGX was not blurry anymore through these settings very sharp and cris…

I am rather dissapointed with the number of problems I am seeing after installing SP1b. The original SP1 offered a flyable and workable aircraft. After SP1b I am seeing FMC problems and CTDs.The main problem I am seeing at the moment is not loading in all the waypoints from a flightplan. I use use FSBuild for creating the flightplans, exporting the plans into FSX and PMDG formats.I am at the moment at KDFW with a flightplan to KMIA,departing KDFW 36R using SID CLARE2. I'm sure it's me, but I am not seeing traffic displayed on the pilots ND. Currently using Ultimate traffic 2 and Avilasoft EFB. In my setup of the 737NGX I set the TCAS to TA/RA and while flying I see traffic outside the window and also on EFB (which is running on second monitor) but nothing shows up on the ND. I made sure the traffic button was pushed on the EFIS panel and I do see the range rings displayed. Somewhere along the line I have messed up a setting or didn't set a switch correctly but can't figure out which. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks in advanceBob DemarestBirmingham, Alabama

In a mad moment I just bought the 737 classic evo. I was expecting the VC to be at least as good as the pre evo one. Lets just say it's more like a cartoon than anything else.I know I should have stuck to PMDG for airlines and have thus learnt a £40 lesson.

I just decided to fire up the sim to do see the NGX autolanding and it has left me a little confused. I landed on 08L at Vancouver and noticed that the aircraft landed itself with CMD being shown and only flare illuminated. If I understand correctly this would be because 08L is Category 111a approach. So with a CAT 111B approach LAND 3 and FLARE and ROLLOUT will be shown. Correct?What are the differences between CMD and FLARE being illiminated and LAND 3, FLARE and ROLLOUT being illuminated as the aircraft autolands in both situations. Sorry if this is an obvious question but the manual could not give me a definitive answer.ThanksRich.

Hey all!I have noticed that after SP1 my nose wheel scrubber sound has dissapeared. I have done a search on this topic to no avail. A few days ago someone posted 4-5 links to fixes for various sound fixes. I have not been able to find them.I am running NGX+SP1+6/700. I have tried the "Q" fix with no results. Hi AllBeen running the NGX since release with no problems even after the updatesI put on SB1b and yet again the NGX worked perfectly..I then tried to load a route that I have created in Avliasoft EFB,for some reason once I had loaded the rte file via the FMC only a small proportion of the route appeared.I tried for some time to sort the problem with no luck.Prior to the latest upgrade the created routes loaded into the FMC with no problem.I have tried to load the same created flightplans in to the PMDG 747 where they load perfectlyCan anyone assist with this problemMany Thanks in advancePaul E LeePS. For several months I been considering upgrading to a core i-5 2500k overclocked and pairing it with a GTX570. Mainly because It would be nice to fly the NGX in Virtual Cockpit mode which I can do when airborne but not on the ground or apporach as it gets too laggy. So currently 85 percent of the time I am running in 2d-panel mode, which I also do for the 747-400X and MD-11X. I currently have a modest configuration of the following hardware. Has anyone else noticed this: On the forward overhead above (in the attached image) what used to be a grey-looking ball shape undefined by FCOM now suddenly has been appearing as a very bright light (see attached image) which appears regardless of panel state. It DOES NOT appear at night with all electrice off, however, but will appear once battery is turned on. What is this? I have been using SP1 but never saw it until last 2 flights. I have not yet installed SP1b but this phenomenon was not mentioned as a problem nor a fix. Anyone else noticing this?
