PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hello there,I have an issue with the NGX and not exactly sure how to fix it, and I would appreciate any help. The aircraft is working fine, fantastic product, however I do have two problems with it as I go on the multiplayer. One of them, is I can't see other people's liveries, although they have PMDG installed too, it just shows as house colours. The other issue is when I try to share my cockpit, just before 100% loaded, it pops up with an error "Error loading flight instruments/gauges" or something like that, can't remember the exact message now. HiLately it seems most of my flights involve the aircraft continually banking left then right then left then right etc usually at higher altitudes when following what should be a straight route.It happens with LNAV or HDG Select. Its got to the point where it annoys me so much I just end the flight now.I am using REX and I guess it is something to do with weather but would love to know what to change adjust to stop this happening.I have tried un checking the download winds aloft box in FS but no luck.I have read in other posts in the forum that FSUIPC is the fix for wind smoothing or something like that.Now I don't mind spending money on addons as you can see from my sig …

Good dayI've been looking at some similar posts regarding screen resolution and haven't yet hit one that approximates my question, if there is one there, I have missed it. The issue is this. I just purchased the 700-900 series and noticed that from the outside the A/C seems distorted--as if it is stretched etc. I know it has to do with resolution settings of some sort. I am running a dell 23" with a recommended resolution of 1280x1024. The odd thing to me is the distortion is not evident in the selection menu where you can select free-flight etc. I also did not notice this on the other A/C until the 737. I did the recommended "fix" in the .cfg file for a wide view aspect.…

HiWhen programming a Star into the FMC, I find that the PFD map will get stuck in the "PLAN" mode, despite trying to move the knob back to "MAP" mode. It gets stuck. The "EXECUTE" light on the FMC then stops working and the whole fmc and pfd becomes inoperable. PLEASE HELP ME SORT THIS PROBLEM! I love the PMDG 737 NGX, but this just wrecks it!!!

It seems there are different sizes of SATCOMs that certain airlines use after looking through some photos. Looks like PMDG has modeled the 'bigger' one. after starting decent ,tune nav recievers to freq 110.10 on both and activate, at this point the freq shows 110.10 on the main display and everthing is going fine, now set the the auto brake to the 2 setting and pan back up. 3 things , first the 110.10/184 on the display has changed to abv/184 or something like that and the plane will not autoland even though i followed the protocal of setting both fd and course 184 in both captain and first officer windows. I have to deactivate autopilot and land mannually.I must be overlooking something.

So... My performance experience with FSX was not good, With an i7 920 not overclocked, I don't expect miracles, but for me it was basically a slide show at a medium airport, with the NGX pushing it over the edge. To the point where the only way to use it was to change the screen resolution from 1920x1080 to 1660x900. And that's after going through the laundry list of optimum configurations/tweaks and FSX re-installs countless times. A few days ago, for reasons other than FS, I did an in place upgrade from Vista 64 Ultimate to Windows 7 64 Ultimate. I fired up FSX with the NGX just to see if it would run. Okey i am having a weird problem:) When flying in vatsim with FSinn with a default FSX 737 i have PMDG 737NGX tailing me and mimicking my moves. And it also disrupts the flying qualites of the plane i am flying. When i am using the PMDG 737 in vatsim the opposite happens. Now the FSX default 737 is tailing me?Note: This happened after i installed PMDG 737NGX and FSinn. No other addons has been installed exept for FCUIP. I have tried reinstalling FSinn and installing Sp1 on PMDG but still the same.What is going on? :) Help!!

If you use FSUIPC and a version of ActiveSky in DWC mode, do yourself a favor and go get Pete's latest version 4.7.51 or later. It a has a major global weather mode fix. It gave new life to DWC mode for me with all FSUIPC weather settings off. Funny thing was, if you have some FSUIPC smoothing enabled, the flaky global weather was not apperant.My suggestion, try DWC mode now without any FSUIPC settings - it was like night and day for me.In the NGX, I now have a completely smooth flight with the slightest touch of turbulance as I passed through the cloud layers during testing. No more wildly swinging winds, bouncing me all over the place - all without any FSUIPC smooth…

Good afternoon from Oklahoma City,I am curious if others experience a discrepancy between the heading selected on the MCP and the MAG TRK of the aircraft. It seems when I select a heading and subsequenty HDG SEL, e.g., 190, the aircraft will turn to a heading whch is often 5-10 degrees different, e.g., 182 or 197. This offset is quite annoying.I searched the forums for a potential solution- but did not come across any solutions.I'm certain the issue has to do with magnetic variation over time. Does anybody have a solution or fix to the issue?Thanks for your time!JW

Hi,Well, has anyone? I have an issue where the numbers won't show on the PFD/ND/EICAS, quite frustrating, but I can still complete a flight with the HUGS deployed the whole flight...anyone had that particular issue, because I've reinstalled DirectX quite a few times, and nothing has changed.

Flying 737NGX and FSX with typical add ons (see my sig) and thinking of replacing my T.Flight HOTAS Thrustmaster Joy/Throttle with the (pricey) Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog Joy/Throttle combo.Question: Are any of you using this device to fly the PMDG 737NGX in FSX? Did a few searches and came up with nothing so I thought I'd post this up here and see what I got.Right now I'm parked at EGLL and planning a westbound flight, likely to KJFK. I knew this was outside the range of the 8/900, but I'm assuming it's easily attainable with the BBJ. Obviously the BBJ version hasn't been released yet and I haven't bought the 6/700 addition yet. I have suddenly started having blurry testures on all of the titles on switches etc. I have an AMD HD5850 video card, lots of ram and i7 980X CPU. I have removed and reinstalled the video drivers. I have removed and reinstalled the PMDG per the listed removal instructions and I still have blurry lettering.If I go to the 2D panel the lettering is fine but I only want to be in the VC. This started intermittently a while back and I found by switching planes it would correct itself. I am also using only the basic PMDG liveries.I could sure please use some help,Thanks,Tom Hibben

Hello allI was trying to do a flight RJAA - VHHX, FSX recognized the airport and I made a flight plan using Vroute information with no problem, however, trying to enter destination airport at the NGX MCDU it wasn't recognized! I understand the airport is not in use any more, any one has a solution for that please ?Any help is appreciatedRegards

Hi guys,I have a problem with my B737NGX. I noticed that when I start a flight by day and I finish it by night, landing lights (taxi & bacon) don't illuminate the ground when landing at destination. But when I start a flight by night I don't have the problem. Any idea? Thanks ;)
