Hi,Today I encoutered a (small) problem. Normally, I am NEVER having any CTDs at all. I've done tens of flights already. Maybe 2 or 3 of them were with a CTD, but that was all my own fault. Loading a livery over another one, using ENB Series, etc. But today, I encountered a very rare CTD, which was reproducable. Here's the story:I was doing a flight from EHRD to LOWI. online on IVAO. I did the normal startup procedures, programming the WOODY1B departure, and the ELMEM1A arrival. I got clearence, taxied to the runway, and took off without any problems. Hi,Can someone tell me how to have aircraft lights illuminating taxiways or runways in 2D cockpit. All is OK when in V Cockpit. When looking at the aircraft from the top-down (press F12), lights can be seen in a cone shape illuminating in front of the aircraft but cannot be seen going back to the 2D cockpit.I have looked in the FSX.cfg, Aircraft.cfg, panel, etc. Anyone knows? Or is it reserved to Virtual cockpit only?ThanksJean-Guy

Hi all,Ive read a couple of previous threads about autoland problems, but havent seen a soluion. Here's the problem. Am i missing anything?First, to be clear, heres how i autoland.Both fd's onSet both course controls as per fmc.Set both nav radios as per fmc.I'm just using the collins mcp.Acquire localiser, capture glidescope - no problems here.Turn on second ap with cmd button after glideslope capture.I always seem to get the 'single chanel' warning, and it doesnt go away. There's no land3, flare or rollout annunciation. So it seems to me that the ap is just running in single channel mode the whole way down.Have tried fail passive and fail active settings. Hi,I'm gonna buy a new graphics card very shortly, probably within the next 1-2 weeks. It's gonna be a GTX 580 1.5 GB, no matter what. But I can't decide which one to buy. First of all, here in the Netherlands, quite a lot of them are out of stock already. At the moment the Gigabyte GV-N580UD-15i has caught my eye, and looks like a really good one. Hi,I am flying the NGX since day 1 and I now have a lot of FP saved(I am sure you do as well)On the FMC if I put Route-Origin-LOWW (for example) and I click on Co-route it always start at A (which is also normal).In the next SP could we please have the FP starting at the same place (LOWW, if we have FP from Vienna) or with the letter L,that would be a lot of help and also much faster.Thanks PMDG for a wonderful planeAlainV

I have had the NGX for a week now and WOW what an airplane, from someone who started flying FS when I was 10 years old with FS2000 how far FS as gone amazing what you guys at PMDG have done with FSX.Anyway my question is with the short field performance package. With a light load lets say 60% capacity or so with fuel for a 200nm flight + reserve how much runway does the 737-700 need to takeoff with the SFP? Would 4,500ft be enough? Also given if that is enough I am guessing flaps 10 or 15 takeoff? Been looking through the documents and online and cant seem to find any info on this.Thanks for the help

ohi guys, I just bought NGX from PMDG web site, it was running perfect. Next day I was trying to run, but the aircraft was in "cold and dark" and the 2d panel was crashed. Does anyone know any solution to solve my problem? Thanks

Hoping for some help from you learned folks.. All my experience of a detailed simulation to date has been three years dedicated to the LDS 767. Old habits and all that.... I fly frequently under 'real' ATC control (either VATSIM or my online group) and because of this I often have to depart from full VNAV/LNAV control quite a way from the destination due to separation, weather, vectors etc. One thing I'm still getting my head around (and my eyes went funny searching for it in the FCOM) is the 'correct' way to operate the MCP in regards to speed. I like to fly the LOWI Approach, and I like to hold either at RTT or KTI, to have enough time to configure for next line of action. But I'm confused as to what would be the best speed for holding. Do I have to pay attention to the "best speed" which is usually around 224 +/-? It looks to me like the plane doesn't want to stick to the racetrack if I'm over 200. (190 at RTT). And I'm not talking about the entry, which I think it does pretty much well. Sometimes it starts turning a little too late after passing the vor, and when on the outbound track, it starts turning a little too early, and sometimes even ends up outside the inbound track (parallel). I am having trouble accelerating past 200 knots after take off and for the autopilot to climb to the altitude I have set. I don't know what I am missing here. Autopilot is engaged, LNAV and VNAV are pressed. See screen below, this was taken on a short flight to test things out. I am probably doing something very dumb that is causing this.

Ok, I've started a ticket with PMDG but wanted to ask you guys if you're experiencing any issues with the NGX when FSX is minimized to the desktop?I am having major issues recovering the flight with NGX loaded every time I minimize FSX to desktop OR get out of full screen and come back to it. I generally do it to engage Radar Contact and then come back into FSX to continue on with the flight. Well this have been frustrating because every time I get back into FSX, either some buttons don't work in the NGX panel or the FSX menu does not work or a right click menu does not work (it engages but the menus are blank).Let me get a few things out of the way first so I can get you…

As I'm sure you are aware, FS2Crew is an extremely sought after addon and of course is reliant on the release of the SDK. Just finished a new build specificaly to enhance performance while running the NGX. I have the OS (Win7-64) on a 64Gb SSD, FSX on a 128GB SSD and everything else on a 500GB HDD. FSX is running great. When trying to run the 800/900 installer I get this message: "fsx.exe version number not found. Unable to install". Then the installer closes.
