PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

HiI reinstalled Win 7 64, FSX and 737 NGX with all the SP`s. Everything ok, but when i try to save a panel state, it shows succesfully saved, but when i try to load that panel, the panel doesn`y exist. I can`n find it in the flightplans folders neither.Another strange problem...i can`t save flight plans with the Flightsim Commander 9,1.I always used the NGX (and the FSC9) without a problem!What can be wrong..??1000 thanks in advance!!

Hello guys. Happy hollidays. I'd like to know if I'm correct in this: RNAV approaches have higher minima than a catiii (which technically has none), plus a catiii has auto flare and rollout, and an rnav does not. If the above is correct, why would ILS approaches are being slowly replaced by rnavs throught the world? Is it purelly economical?RegardsArmando Arjona

Hello I purchased the NGX the day it came out, I had to reinstall Windows on my system this weekend and saved my NGX base file to a external drive, however, when it was time to unzip the NGX file it said it was corrupted. I went to the PMDG site to re download my NGX file and it said the link was no longer active!! I then realized that you have to pay to reactivate your link, which I did. When I signed up for the support desk it sent me a confirmation link which was not working. OK, now I am stuck, no idea what to do from here. Someone from PMDG please help, I miss my NGX for XMAS!!

I am still in the early stages of learning the 737NGX, although I have had experience with everything else PMDG has released in the FSX versions.I think using Real World Weather and also loading Winds Aloft adds quite a bit to the FSX experience, so I am deliberately flying the -800 into cold fronts etc. to see how it reacts in really bumpy weather.So far, it hasn't turned out as I had hoped.I have not been unable to make a successful descent and landing into the really bad stuff using Autothrottle and VNAV. Got myself a new pc, I installed FSX and then bought the 737 Ngx and installed it without an hitch and everything is running beautiful, it really is. But afterwards i read in the manuel that I should have installed FSX directly into my C: drive rather than through the usual root were FSX installs, C: program files etc so my question is should I do a reinstallation of FSX and install into the correct directory as pmdg reccommends even though everything is working just great we're it is installed at the moment??RegardsPaul EGCC

Does anybody have experience (either real or significant sim experience) flying the LLZ DME East approach into LOWI with a circle to land on RWY08? I love this approach/landing, especially on larger aircraft, as it is a great hand flying opportunity. My question is, what configuration/profile are people using to fly this one gracefully? Hi,I've been having a strange problem recently. I landed at SBRJ airport, which is quite challenging. I maintained the two white/two red PAPI lights pretty much perfectly. But just when I was above runway treshold, at about 50 feet, I suddenly slammed into the ground, really strange. So I watched the replay in FSRecorder, and I could see that I wasn't really low or something, my altitude was perfectly normal, my aircraft just slammed into the ground without a reason, this seems to be caused by some kind of invisible wall or something? Hi, I have tried to solve the problem of audio and view (2D view) in PMDG 737 NGX. First of all I want to remark, that in the past everything was ok. Later I formated the system (Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1) and started to instal Flight Simulator X witm my addons. When I finished, I run the simulator, choose PMDG 737-800 NGX (with SP 1b) and selected the airport. I just installed the NGX and the installation appears to have been successful but when I clicked on the icon in FSX I got a black screen with just the cursor arrow. I waited, then hit escape. I got the FSX window to quit or shut down, then when I restarted it said to reboot that FSX did not shut down properly in a red "Stop Sign". It then said "Smartassembly needed on this computer." What's wrong???? I haven't had any installation problems with any other aircraft. It's a Windows 7 - SP 1 system. Thanks. Tom

Yes. It's true.I tuned only one radio frq to ILS frq.AndI did hit VOR/LOC and APP button.Then I got VOR/LOC, G/S mode in PFD.Then I waited with SINGLE CH (amber)finaly, my aircraft did full auto land with flare, retard, roll out. (The roll out and flare was not shown at PFD. But the aircraft's menuver was roll out and flare.)Is this a bug?It was not LAND 3 (green)My FSX is clean installed. No ADD ONs and only PMDG747-400 and PMDG 737-800/900 + SP1b. Sorry my English.

For an addon that's so widely praised, I must say I'm surprised to see these two problems, so I'm hoping that this is something that can be fixed...1) When I end a flight with the 737NGX, FSX is shoved over in the bottom right hand corner almost completely blank. I've seen this happen before, but it usually rights itself within a few seconds--here it does not and I have to close it with task manager.2) Loading flights does not work at all. When I load a saved flight, the aircraft is cold and dark, and the systems are so screwed up that absolutely nothing works--I can't turn on the battery (or anything else, for that matter) and when I try to open the FMC panel, it opens a…

Everytime I fly the NGX, just before landing (40 feet or so) my autopilot drops off and the warning buzzer sounds. This is with autoland. After touchdown, the autobrakes or reverse thrust does not work. I have to apply the brakes and reversers with that buzzing going off! Is this normal? I would not thionk so!

OK, I'm wildly happy with SP1b - it's taken any little minor issues out of my flight experiences, the 737 NGX is handling the best it ever has - a dream to fly - a joy to start up and immerse myself in. I had a couple minor glitches with EZDOK, remedied by shutting down FSX, then re-running the EZDOK configuration tool (whilst FSX is NOT running). JOY!My admiration for PMDG is unbounded. Hi guys, for some reason this problem seems to be a bit random and I'm unsure how to overcome it. I suspect it's finger trouble at my end, although it may be something that some of the more knowledgeable fellas are aware of, or indeed an FSX bug. For some reason, I find that when I want to deploy full spoilers, that only one spoiler on the right wing functions. Once on the ground the spoilers function perfectly. I have Ezdok and run with FSUIPC with the FSX controller unticked. This has just happened flying from Bristol to Manchester on AP, flying both VNAV and LNAV.
