PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I love the NGX, I can't stop flying it! Two minor, minor things I could use some advice on. When I land, the touchdown sounds are great, but they cause a brief pause in the sim probably due to being high impact sounds. Is there anyway I can minimize those? I'd rather not have the slight hesitation. The other is the wind noise in the cabin is really loud, it's hard to hear ATC instructions. where can I adjust that? My default FSX sounds are already set, but this seems to be separate. I see nothing in the NGX sound menu covering the cockpit.Any tips will be greatly appreciated...what a great package!Lee

Hi All . I have just purchased the boxed version of PMDG 737NGX and I have a problem with FMC .I follow Tom Risager 's tutorial and when I am in takeoff ref page V1VRV2 don't appear .Where is my mistake ? I really need your help .Many thanks .Best regardsMaurizio

I recently purchased the PMDG 737NGX base pack and the extention pack. One problem I'm having with it is trying to get my Saitek Pro Throttle Quadrant's lever to set up the visual detent with some deadzone on the Saitek throttle quadrant where I want to arm the spoilers. If I don't use FSUIPC to set up my Arm Spoilers detent and just use the FSX axis assignments to set up one lever for spoilers which also means no deadzone detent for arming spoilers, then the spoilers on this aircraft work but then I can't have a deadzone for the Arming the spoilers on the spoiler's axis. This means I have to be very precise of where I position my spoiler's lever for arming the spoiler…

Hey guys,I have noticed lately my NGX has been drifting to the left when accelerating. I don't know if this is due to the wind (is 10 knoott wind enough to make the aircraft turn) or whether it is an in-game problem.Any advice?Kind Regards,Dan

Hey guys, I've the NGX + the 6700 extension. As the SP1b was released I imediately installed it. Today, as I recieved the newsletter from PMDG, I checked wether I got the most recent version installed. My 6700 was on version 3118 (all fine), but uups ... the 8900 was on version 3116 (although I've downloaded them at the same time). Now I wanted to install version 3118 for my 8900, but the Setup says:I mean, it is not a big problem for me, I was just a little confused ... does anyone have an explanation for this, or can sb please tell me the differences between these versions (won't be that many)? (first of all, sorry my poor English, I live in east asia. don't know english...but maybe you can understand .)As I know people react easily with female voice, not male voice.So I did think if I change that voice to female voice from default male voice, it's good for pilot(Me).I drive with both 747x and 737ngx.So I did it on 747x useing the voice progam called "Magic English plus"See video :) I don't know if you feel or not. The voice is little bit awkward.So I am looking for the voice program which has natural voice and beutiful for 737ngx.Any sugestion?Thank you for reading!.

If you observe too fast descents and you have often to use the speedbrakes - it may be caused by this "SP1 IDLE BUG". The conditions are:- CH yoke- FSUIPC- and you assigned one button "Gear UP"In this case the N1 suddenly increases at 15500ft from 34.9% to 40%. And that leads to an increase of speed forcing the considerable use of the speedbrakes or you will overshoot.BTW. there is no problem with assigning the axises and it doesn't matter which button is used. Assigning one button to "Gear Up" and using this button after takeoff leads much later during the descent to the N1 jump! So, don't do that until the bug is repaired. Whenever I end a flight with any of the PMDG 737 -800/900 aircraft, FSX crashes. I have both FS passanger and Cargo pilots, but both arnt supported to 737NGX I think.....Is there any other like theese for the 737NGX?Just sow that something like "Air hauler" dos any one know any thing about it or have others like FS passanger, Airliner pilots etc........

Hi there.On my new system, I wasn't asked for my serial number when reinstalling the NGX (NOTE: I had already installed it once on this PC, but, I got the black screens inside the VC so I had to reinstall. This second time, the installer didn't ask me for the serial number. I don't remeber if it's the NGX or REX but one of them [maybe both] don't ask for serial number after you installed it at least once. Is this true?)

I recently purchased a pmdg 737ngx for fsx. When I click on the add ons, then the pmdg option the normal options (eg panel state, options & fuel etc etc) are all missing the only option present is the the "about pmdg option". When use my other pmdg aircraft (the 747 & md11) all the normal options are present.I have a windows 7 64 bit system, and am using fsxTom [email protected]

Good morning guys,I have noticed something funky recently. I have my Saitek Throttle assembly. I use 2 throttles (left and right) to control the engines. When I am in climbout, and I engage the VNAV/LNAV I will often have my autothrottles disconnect and the inputs arent matching where my throttles are. I have never had my A/T disconnect on my old throttle slider when I moved it. Any ideas? Is there a setting I am missing that will prevent the disconnect of A/T if I move my throttles? Thanks.

HiI have got problem with 2d overhead panel. when I switch to that view, the overhead panel is very dark and I can't see anything when I am flying at night. in 3d view panel is lightened and is ok. I have tried with circuit breaker switch and panel switch on the overhead but it still remains dark, the panel switch only lightens the text below every switch but doesn't lighten the background.

Just started getting that messager after doing some windows vista updates yesterday, and can't load the pmdg ngx anymore.... what happened? I have been running this fine now for months! Any ideas? it pops up an activation window that does not work at all...will not validate any info I give it from my pmdg receipt!

I flew the KLAX Seavu STAR last night and sat back and watched the NGX hit every single altitude restriction right on. Very impressive. I did notice FMC Speeds that I do not know where they are coming from. At one of the fixes, the legs page showed 187 at this fix while the magenta speed was 206 above the speed tape(still in VNAV). I am assuming the FMC is indicating 206 is necessary to stay on path as I could not reference this speed anywhere in the FMC.Is my assumption accurate?

The head up display stopped working sometime along aircraft use, not sure exactly when as it is seldom used. Yes it is properly selected. Any ideas how to restore it?

I have had s-turns before due to the wind changing, but this time the wind is staying same and LNAV is going crazy. Some one please help, this is very frustrating! Its only started today, I haven't changed anything on my system.

Hi people, it's as the title explains.I'm trying to programme an approach into the FMC but it's only giving me the option for three different types of transitions even though I know there is 4. It only shows the one page in the FMC when selecting the RNW Approach. Anyone know how to get the others to display?Thanks
