I was cruising at 38,000 ( LNAV & VNAV) and I accidentally disengaged the autopilot. Tried to re-engage CMD A,but the light just flashes on and off quickly. I am however able to engage CMD B, but hitting CMB B actually was engaging CWS ( as this was annunciated on the PFD) remembered reading somewhere something about toggling the flight director switches on & off and then making sure that the pilot's f/d switch was turned on first, but doing this does not help. Anyone have any idea as to why CMD A would not re-engage?Thanks

Hi all and a Happy New Year.I'm curious to know what differences clock speeds make with FSX. Pmdg recommends using a 1 Gig card for the NGX 737. I'm using an ATI 4850with 512 meg of ram .1 Gig would help as I can see when I change between the outside view to the virtual cockpit takes about 1 second to be fully visible again. So does clock speed make a big difference. I'm looking at getting a Msi GTX 560 TI SOC to 950 as much the same price as the standard 560 Ti about 820mhz. I know FSX is mainly CPU and I have my 2500k running @ 4.6. Would a non Ti 560 GTX suffice?Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks in advance

on the following route flown twice to check out whether the issue recurs the aircraft suddenly turns an abrupt left despite being on auto pilot, getting it back to heading requires off with auto pilot, manually manouvering the acft to the correct heading and when the adrenaline has returned to normal on with auto pilot.details of the flight:route: EGCC-EKBIfl: 370winds calmframe rates 25rapid turn to left bank angle warning around 75nm before Descent.it only happens on this route so perhaps it is a navigraph issue, although route is clear on the pfd??only add on is ultimate traffic and none was visible as time of flight around 10pm GMT.tried the route with the level d 767…

I sent a ticket so I can reinstall my 737NGX and I have been waiting all day! Sorry but if PMDG forces us to submit a ticket to re-activate my key then they should reply in a timely manner or have an auto system for re-activating keys. I can only fly weekends and now Saturday is wasted waiting! Annoyed customer!

I recently purchased this aircraft. One problem I'm having with it is that if I use low res VC textures and modelling (except for one of the VC settings I kept at high res) instead of the high res ones, when I fly and switch from VC view to spot view, I get this "skeleton" looking aircraft where I can see the interior and it renders itself to full exteror in about 2 seconds from the inside-out. Reason why I wanted to use most of the VC settings as low res is that I wanted a little higher frame rate in VC mode and the VC still looked good in my opinion as long as I kept the one VC texture setting at high. Hi,FSX was running full screen. I Alt+Tab out for the 3rd time, leaving it minimized for about 5 minutes. Was on the ground after a 40 minute flight, with the aircraft in the config as it landed in. No add-ons except for the NGX. Had been trying SP1b. Best regards,Robin.

Greetings all.....happy new years eve!!Yesterday I was flying from KSLC, on the LEETZ2.CHE departure. The departure controller told me to follow all altitude restrictions, but I can delete any speed restrictions. I went to the LEGS page, and for the HUCKK waypoint I typed "/12000A" in the right LSK. That didnt change anything. I then thought that because there's also a speed restriction at CHEDO, I should change that one first. I typed "/FL230B" after selecting the right LSK for CHEDO, but again it didnt work. I finally used speed inv intil past CHEDO.I tried looking in the FCOM for the proper way of doing this, but couldnt find the right page. What did I do wrong?Here's …

Hi all; I have a serius problem with the auto-brakes in my 737NGX PMDG.When I set 1 or 2 or 3 about auto-brakes, function normally during the landing, but I can't disable!The plane stops on the runway and I can't vacate because the brakes don't stop to function! i can't set parking brake or advance the trottle because the aircraft don't mouve!!HELP!

Ok!This one has been bugging me for some weeks. My computer is only 6 months old, and it has been running flawlessly. About four to five weeks agothe ntdll.dll startet causing CTD`s and I posted all about it on the FSX CTD forums.. Hi,Since the beginning, I've always been using the Cost Index from the tutorial flight, which is 25. But I would like to do it in the most realistic way as possible. I know cost index is basicly how efficient the plane flies. Low cost index is lower speed and higher efficiency, and high cost index is the other way around.So could someone please tell me cost index exactly is, how to calculate it, and how to get a realistic value. I have TOPCAT but unfortunately it's not giving me the cost index (as far as I know).I appreciate your help!Thanks!

Hi! I just installed the PMDG 737NGX for FSX.Everything is working great! I have been reading the manual for the past 3 hours just to figure out how to take off :PHowever, I noticed in the VC, sometimes it would freeze for a few seconds, than continue.But just recently, in the air after like 2 hours of work on the FMC, FSX crashed and said "A fatal error occurred"I don't know why this is happening...I get like 10 fps in the VC and like 25 outside in spot.

I see lots of PMDG NGX pilots on VATSIM but most of the time flying alone. No website would be needed for the club and you can stay at your current virtual airline. Would just be something for group flights once a week were we all meet at one airport and fly to a certain destination.Anyone interested?

Hello,Reading the PMDG's newsletter I saw I was running a build or so behind.Untill now, I'm running 3116 and now want to unstall 3118.I get an error window that this build isn't compatible with 3116 and that I have to uninstall the NGX first.I really have to do that or am I missing something?Bert Van Bulck

Hi great captains, guess this has been treadmilled many times before, but I'm still confused about approaches.Was coming into KAUS Austin Bergstrom rwy 35L on KALLA2 with LLO transition. Onto the finals I get FAP and G/P on my annunciators. Try to hit the APP button to capture the ILS (both ILS's tuned with courses), but she refuses and sticks to what i guess is a GPS APP. How do I switch between the two? Is there any great guide on APP modes?Thanks for any help!
