PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

In the video below, they do a "high idle check", and I just have to ask, what is High Idle?I have read something about High idle and Low idle (not much information), but I have no ideas what the difference is and what it means.I know very much about the 737 and have spent years flying it in Flight Simulator, I have read much about it and learned alot, but this is one of the things I do not know!

After takeoff regardless if I have a flight plan set up in the FMC or not the aircraft will not accellerate past 180-190 knots. I have tried with the autopilot on and off and neither will work. I made sure all flaps were up, speedbrake down and gear was up. Any thoughts on this?

Sorry,I know this is an old beaten horse, but could we please get an official update on the state of the SDK?What I am starting to think, is that the SDK never is going to be released. Could you please let us know if that is the case?Personally, I am going to retire the NGX and not buying the expansions to it if I cannot use it with FS2Crew and external hardware. I have a question for you regular simmers. Having spent years playing with PMDG 737 NG on FS9 I have finally bought 737 NGX and now I have had to obviously delve into FSX. The main reason I have avoided FSX and stayed with FS9 is that the performance was awful. Now.. I have got to the point where the NGX runs ok but its still abit stuttery and if I flick to the Outside spot view I will always get a skeletal view until the aircraft "builds itself again.. (I have added the text lines as explained in the intro guide.) Flicking over to the Virtual cockpit it always takes a second or so to load the panels. I like to practice my Approaches, and have set the aircraft up at the beginning of the ILS with the aircraft autopilot engaged and all the data entered into the FMC. I save the flight, and when I load a saved flight it puts me back in the same location but I have to re-enter the FMC data and the auto-pilot modes.Is there any way that I can return to the exact position and configuration(ie. auto-pilot on and FMC loaded) each time I load a saved flight?Thanks anybody.

Hi,After many flight with the NGX. I flew to Velencia. When I reaced my CRZ FL, I follow my flightplan, then when I go to my next waypoint, my aircraft rolls more than 90 degrees, and he goes into a fall.This was my first time I got this, I don't do anything other than normal. And finally my FSX has been crashed. with the error code MSVCR90.dll.Anybody an idea what this is.

I understand that this issue may have been raised before, but can anyone explain why the aircraft moves whilst at the gate despite the fact that the parking brakes/chocks are setand engine thrust is at idle? If it's FSX, what specifically can we do to resolve it ( if at all), or is it an NGX issue what (if anything) can we do to resolve it........becoming somewhat annoying.Rgds,

Hi as soon as I arm A/T on runway and then move them to 40% N1 the A/T disconnects? Any reason (probably many) that this happens and how to fix it. Also-2. When at 40% N1 and I hit TOGA do I push throttles all the way forward or leave them to there own devices? Many thanks Wayne.

As part of my round the world flight I am probably going to have to use warp factor for some legs due to literally not having the time to complete the legs before bedtime. Has anyone successfully done it and at X what speed?

Hey guys!Hope all is well.Yesterday I was flying a leg from VIDP to LLBG on board the 737-700 when I ran across a problem while in cruise flight.The aircraft flew over a waypoint on the route and started banking a 360 degree turn and didn't stop turning.I tried to manually go into the FMS and double clicking the next waypoint so the aircraft could fly direct the next waypoint and it didn't help. The aircraft kept turning to the right. Fuel an everything was perfect and no other issues were detected.LNAV was enabled.This happened about 4 hours into the flight.The waypoint was OK and there was no weird route on the FMS.What could it be?Thanks much in advance.Teo

Hi, First of all, please note, if you're intending to help me (which I really appreciate), please read everything! In the past I have defragged several times, and I always regretted it afterwards. My loadtimes did not increase, and lots of stutters suddenly appeared, and fps got reduced slightly. PMDG,I have a few questions for you regarding the code structure for the NGX:What code language was it written in?What .Net Framework version did you use to compile it?What Operating System (including system architecture) and version of Visual Studio was used to write it.I personally am partial to C# and .Net 4, however, the compatibility is a little less forgiving when writing for a 5 year old program.

I have a new PC for FSX (i7 2600k, 8GB RAM, HD6970), Win7 64bit, FSX - but my first plane that i`d buy, install and want to fly dont work! I`d install SP1+SP2 and also a "dxwebsetup" from the microsoft site. No result. In the Error-Window "DirectX 9.0 Web Setup" appears "Command line option syntax error. Type Command /? for Help".After hours of reintalling and trying I`m really desperate of that things. Greetings,Just when I thought I had all the issues worked out of my PMDG 737 NGX, they come back again. Here's what happened:I flew the tutorial from EGKK-EHAM with the 2D cockpit and everything was fine from start to, well, almost finish. I landed ok, selected a 60 sec Replay of my landing, and went to the external view of the aircraft. After selecting the external view, NO aircraft was visible (its full shadow on the ground was), NO runway was visible from the 2D cockpit view (only the PAPIs on the left side were visible). Additionally, the cockpit displays were frozen to show 45 KIAS, 0 feet MSL, 27.3% N1, -4 feet Radio Altimeter, command bars slightly above and to…
