OK. So I finally decided to see what FPS limiter 0.2 could do for me while using the NGX. My system is pretty decent and I get pretty good frames now , but I was reading about the advantages in setting FSX to unlimited and using FPS limiter set at 30FPS. So I followed the instructions, pointed to the FSX root directory and created the .bat file, only I didint know where the .bat file was created, so I searched for it and when I found it I think I made a mistake in dragging it onto my desktop, as there was no option when right clicking to create a shortcut. Hey guys,So i am almost 95 percent sure that my problem is due to controller sensitivity, but i just figured i'd get some other opinions. Strange thing is, that this problem only occurs with the PMDG 737-600/700 models. When i go to place my hand on my joystick to rotate the hat switch, the aircraft begins to rock from side to side or up and down. It happens very subtly where it does not disengage the autopilot, but enough to see the aircraft being moved from a slight touch of the joystick. I'm assuming the small bit of pressure of my hand resting on the joystick is whats causing this problem. Any suggestions? And if controller sensitivity is what you all think as well, p…

Hello all ( Happy New Year) I am new to the PMDG programs, but I am extreamly impressed ! I do have one question so far?? Is there any where shown the panels of the flight deck aso enable any one to get used to them before trying to fly?? What I mean is, when you open the flight deck to Cold & Dark and not familar to the enviorment How do you become at ease with the control panels??It is near impossible to reach out and start the program without experience with this fantastic program!! Out of curiosity, more than anything else, I downloaded FS2Crew for the J41. This thing is freakin awesome. Immersive to the max. Can't wait till it's available for the NGX. Now I start all my flights "Cold and Dark" just to use the program more. Using all the check lists. More realistic. My FO is very obediant.Also discovered how far speech recognition has come since the last time I checked it out, oh maybe 15 years ago.

I just downloaded 737NGX and am looking forward to a weekend of play.I'm wondering if there's a reason to buy the Extended Download Service versus just making a backup copy of the downloaded zip file or the install EXE.If my PC dies or I need to reformat, can't I just re-install it from my backup?

Just thinking it would be easy in the next service pack to add some more consumer-friendly features. Imagine...you're planning a Cat 3 approach, peering through the HUGS...and then...'100 points - landing gear down'. Awesome! If you remember the autobrakes that's got to be worth at least 200 points.See the pic for some ideas on other things that could get a score (like landing on the runway, 0 points in this example but still not a bad score overall).

Hi,The NGX has been working so well for me, that there isn't much to blame on it. There are so many good things, that now I can only notice the bad ones, well, these here are the only problems I'm having with the NGX. These are just minor problems, which are not really destroying the fun, but they keep attracting my attention:1. Landing lights, and/or taxi lights sometimes not illuminating the ground during day/night or night/day transitions, this mostly happens at add-on airports. Hi all,I finally decided today to buy 737NGX 800/900 as the download direct from PMDG, instead of the recent boxed version which has become available. Everything seems to work ok and I followed the setting recomendations in the introduction documentation for setting up FSX, including the FSX.cfg tweaks from Bojote's website. I'm still deciding if there is much improovement! My question is. Having only downloaded 737NGX today, would I still need to download the update sp1b which was recently published by PMDG or would my 733NGX download include this?Thanks for any help

I recently purchased the 737NGX and so far Love it. Although I am having some issues with some livery instalation. I am following direction from PMDG to the letter and the liveries are from PMDG but for some reason some of the planes show up with no HUD. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks,

Hi ! A while ago i had a problem with the tcas test and from PMDG they sent me an installer with sp1 INstalled ! Now when i install the SP1B i always have CTD when i load the plane so i disinstall all install the main installed with SP1 and it works as soon as i install the SP1B and i selct the plane it doesnt work again! I run it on window 7 64. What can cause the problem? Thanks

Hello,This issue has been raised in several posts, but i don't think an adequate solution has been given. There are many problems regarding the use of FSX save/load functions with the NGX:* loading a flight saved after T/D leads to black cockpit displays and inoperative commands* loading a flight saved during cruise works, unless you have previously loaded another flight in the same FSX session, in that case, same result as above* same inoperative plane when you crash on landing (yes, it happens...) and FSX restartsThese are a few repetitive bugs I have noticed and confirmed, there seem to be others in the same vein. Hello there, in the NGX, the T/D point is bouncing around on the PFD between two positions on the map about 20 miles apart. I don't know why, I was expecting a problem with the ground air pressure and standard pressure, but I can't remedy the situation. I have tried setting the actual air pressure but no joy. Please help, I am cruising at fl 360 and this has only started to occue recently,many thanks

Ok need a question answered please why after starting a flight in any ngx version the aircraft was running and ready to go after 2 months of using it tonight started up the sim loaded my favorite ngx and it not running none of them 600 700 800 900 why would this happen all of a sudden, thanks.

As the title says, I'm using the NGX, with the EZdok camera along with the Enb Series dll file. When changing views with EZdok, the screen flashes momentarily. If I Shift+F12, that turns off Enb and then all is fine. I really want to utilize all my programs together, so is there a way to make everything play together nicely?

Anyone else having trrouble installing the PMDG listed Continental Livery for the 900WL?I cannot get the Livery Manager to recognize that this particular .ptp file is in the folder, although I have verified it is in the right place and the title appears to be correct.I have installed two other 900WL's exactly the same way, one before and one after the problem with this texture, so cannot rationalize that this is a Livery Manager problem.I am running it in the Administrator mode and have the folder set up as reccomended. I redownloaded it three times, and spent a couple of hours trying to resolve this.Not a show stopper, I can survive without that livery, but just curious …

Hey guys, I'm loving the NGX so far! One thing though, I get really OCD about the lines on the wings that always blur when I zoom out to look at the plane in spot view (once I get up to cruise of course...) I've tried playing around with my AA and AF settings but none of the changes I had made seem to make a difference.. I've attached a picture to see if anybody knows of a fix for it! My problem is that they're not solid and kind of flicker around when the camera moves or the plane moves.. small problem, I know, but I'm dying to get it fixed!

So I looked out on the wings and saw a little green creature with pointy teeth grinning evilly back at me. Suddenly the aircraft developed unexpected behavour, particularly when using accelerated sim rate (8x). In the past I could fly at accellerated sim rates when I simply ran out of time and at least could finish the flight instead of hitting ESC(ape) key and terminating.Now, the plane under 8x sim rate climbs wildly and does not level off at the pre-planned cruise altitude. So that's ONE issue. Additionally, I recently recalibrated the controls (HOTAS Warthog combined with Saitek combat rudder pedals) and de-selected auto-rudder. Good news is I am obtaining max N1…

I flew the EGKK to EHAM tutorial tonight which I love because I'm learning and its fairly easy to follow, however I follow the guide to the letter, and take of 40%N1 etc etc, the auto throttles keep turning off, the altitude doesn't change levels when it's supposed to and sometimes I'm too high on approach and can't make runway. yet I've done everything the guide says! It seems to do what it wants and I have notice the throttles move but when they stop they are not level or side by side (even) one is at the top 96 N1 roughly the other is 36 N1 would anyone know what could be causing this it's so frustrating, I have Saitek quadrant.
