PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi,Am looking at buying a new Gigabyte GTX570 Super Overclocked for FSX.Will I be able to run the NGX with REX and Aerosoft add on sceneries with this card ? or will I be unhappy with its performance ?As I am on a budget of not much, what would be the lowest recommended graphics card for the above environments ?Any assistance / recommendations would be most appreciated.Thanks in advacneAdam

Just wondering if PMDG could help McPhat in getting the NGX livery packages released.Apparently McPhat can not sell them because some legal stuff is still not arranged. Maybe the same legal mumbo-jumbo that is keeping the SDK from getting released?I do not want this to start a big discussion. I'd just like to understand why it's so difficult to get the legal stuff done.

sorry guys not NGX related per se but if anyone would know this it's you guys...Just watched the episode of The Office where Michael Scott leaves......at one point there is a shot of him taking off from the airport....my first reaction was the plane had a weird low angle take off...do you agree?look at 2:40 in the video maybe they hired the plane to take off low like that to keep it in the frame longer (ie..it wasnt just a real random commercial plane taking off) but something is off right??? Hi Folks!I'm just flying some miles west of Yakutsk (UEEE). Suddently, the cover of my right throttle lever guide grows all across the cockpit!This seems to be a "geographical" problem. I never hat this problem since yesterday descending into UEEE, coming from the east. And it occurs only at a certain altitude (roughly 30.000-34.000ft).Can anybody confirm this glitch? Dear friends,As I mentioned in a previous topic I had to enable DX10 Preview in FSX because the offboard video card ATI/AMD Radeon HD6470M is not able to work properly with the old renderization model used by Microsoft causing bad cockpit and CDU images using DX9. This is different when using the offboard video card Nvidia GEForce that perform better. Other important gain is regarding the increase of frames per second when you use DX10 instead of DX9.The colateral effect is that most of FSX airports start to flicker (mainly the runways and taxi yellow lines). Hi,Now that I have windows 7 I can install awesome liveries for the NGX. But after the first one it caused quite a bit of problems, the whole NGX wont work! Now controls, no instrument, nothing. Any recommendations or stickies regarding that issue. After uninstalling the liveries everything went back to normal. Thanks

I have been wondering how the autobrake works IRL, does the pilots set autobrake and let the aircraft slow down without touching the brake pedals like in fsx or do the autobrake system adjust how hard the brakes are applied when the pilots touch the pedals? Thanks for the answers Niklas Eriksson

HiNot sure where to find reference however, for a few weeks now I have had to click on the Add-ons, on the menu bar then open FSUIPC then click ok in order for the aircraft to climb using VNAVDoes anyone know if this bug has been fixed?Cheers!

Does anyone know how to fix this? Since I've installed SP1, the center fuselage color doesn't match with the other two, its darker and a bit less reflective. The livery doesn't matter at all, it's present in all 900 jets. I've tried to restore the old textures but to no avail, so it's something with the model perhaps? I don't know!I saw someone else post about this somewhere but I lost track of the post so here I am..Thanks for any help!

I've been working on a repaint for the NGX and I was reloading the textures on the aircraft using the global max resolution trick (like I've done a thousand times before) when my sim froze, then crashed. When I restarted it, ALL of my add-on liveries for ALL of my PMDG aricraft are gone. I can't even re-install them. All the files are in place including good aircraft.cfg files but the sim does not recognize the other paints...Just though I'd bring this to your attention (If you didn't already know). Now, off to re-installing 5 PMDG aircraft from scratch.

Hey,i was wondering, when i opening the FMC there's Ident page it written there for the 700series24k for the 800 series 26k, now, can i change it for example, if i am using 737 can i change it to 26k or 22k? or this prohibited?else how can i calculate the takeoff performance with out any program, the thrust is too high, i always take off very very quick, so can i lower it for 22k? thanks in advance, and yes i have done a lot of mess with that topic, sorry about that LOL...

I recently installed the service pack update in relation to the 737 NGX ... since then I cannot see my 737/800 winglet version when I attempt to access it through FSX free flight .... if I go to all the FSX folders it is still there .... cannot anyone tell me how to get it visible in FSX again. HiI have just done two flight in the 737-800NGX Winglets aircraft and on both at one point or another in climb i got the cabin altitude warning horn. I checked failiures since i just wanted a routine flight and there was none, however it the horn was sounding. I stoppped the first flight and later did another that went the same way. Am I doing something wrong in the procedures/checklists? CRZ alt and DES alt was set correctly in the pressurization panel so what else should I be checking? Thanks

I am planning a flight from Toronto to Edmonton and have come across waypoint 4930N, 09000W. I am not sure how to enter this into FMC. I could enter it if it was only 4900, but throw 4930 at me, and i'm lost. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi GuysFrankly, i didn't hesitate even for a second to buy the 737ngx, because it seemed that much better vs the known competition. It's just brilliant, but i guess you all know that. Greetings all,I'm drawing a blank on this one. Trying to program the FMC to draw a 4.1 mile circle around a waypoint (to be used as reference during a departure).
