Hello,Does the brightness control work for the DU's, namely the outboard and inner DU? The controls appear to have no effect on mine.

Hey guys,I´ve read some time back that it should be avoided to deploy the flaps while making a turn on ground to prevent the flaps to get stuck. This could happen cause of the gravity. I think I read that in connection with the 727. I wonder wehether this still correct today?

Hello,I know the FSUIPC doesn't fully support NGX and this is not recommended using FSUIPC to set keys for the NGX but still..In the PMDG NG and the default 737 i can use the offset "x0BDC" but this offset doesn't work with NGX. could i use any other offset to set key for different flaps positions?thanks a lot for helping,

Hello Captains!I am currently trying to edit the NGX Navdata to add Kai Tak VHHX following this post:http://forum.avsim.net/topic/344253-ngx-navdata/page__p__2090332__hl__vhhx%20ngx%20navdata__fromsearch__1#entry2090332I did what was written but when I launch the NGX I get an error message "Navdata failure- hash Wrong latitude" something like that. If I cancel the message, the NGX loads, I can choose VHHX but I get "No RNW13" message in FMC and of course I have no SID/STAR showing.I am using default Navdata...Could someone point me out to the proper procedure to add VHHX? Or maybe someone would like to share working updated navdata files with me?Thank in advance Captains…

Sorry if this has been posted; I did a search but found nothing..Sometimes I have to save a flight in mid-flight for whatever reason - when I load it again and unpause I get a 20 second countdown while NGX wakes up - by the time it's awake I've usually dropped about 2-3000 feet! It won't countown while paused..any way around this?Thanks

A couple of days ago I started having this problem. While following the checklists and starting everything up normally, the engines spool up but once you release the brake and throttle forward to taxi, nothing happens. The thrust levers are moving in the VC, but N1 stays locked around 20% and never budges. EGT remains around 390. What's going on here? This began happening without any sort of modifications whatsoever. I'm using a Saitek Cyborg joystick that hasn't changed in the last few years. I did a complete reinstall of FSX and all addons. Hi,What would you do during a takeoff and climb not using the Autopilot at all for a NADP1?With the newest 10.8? FMC as in NGX.Lets take EHAM (Amsterdam)for instance .Is it hitting N1 about 1500 feet (frome takeoff to reduction mode?) and continue with V2+20 up to 3000 and then hitting VNAV continuing from here flaps retraction and speed build up to 250 ?ThanksMichael

I just can't stop thinking about these.... lol1. Does Auto Throttle remain on during landing, or are you supposed to turn it off at say 300 feet the manually control the throttle? Or, when you land and engage RT, does it turn off automatically?2. Does Flight Director (both) need to be on during landing as well?3. I'm at section 11.10.3 FCOMV2 (page813) and it describes the three options listed in the title. I've only driven the 738 so far, as it's the one in both of the available tutorials, and it seems to have the MCDU. Are the other two modelled in another variant? I can't see any option in the FMC/PMDG setup to change it.Obviously not being a RL NG driver I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, but I'm having a great time learning bit by bit. Hello, yesterday I bought the 737NGX (digital version) which apparently also includes the SP1. Everything on the plane works fine, except that I got a really ugly looking 2d main panel. I haven't taken a screenshot yet, but it looks quite deformed and mixed with some other gauges that don't belong there plus the PFD, MFD etc are black. Anyone knows about this problem?

I've noticed the HF long wire antenna is deployed on several of my NGX liveries. The antenna crank is supposed to be located on the upper panel but I seem to have misplaced mine. Does anyone know to to deploy/retract the trailing wire antenna?

Guys, I'm trying to do some RW Delta routes in the NGX, does anybody have links to GOOD AFCAD's in the USA that Delta would fly the NG's to? I have check AVSIM/FlightSIm and while there is some stuff there really isn't a lot. I found KATL but one of the runways has autogen trees like right next to and GEX textures going underneath the runway. I know that most people at least have Addon Scenery or new AFCAD's and it be nice if you could pass them around so I could finally start doing some RW Delta flight.Cheers

I don't know what has changed but the ATA jumps all over the place. I don't have any discontinuity in the FMC. It happens on every route lately. Some of these routes I have flown before ( built by FSBuild not built in the FMC itself). I am wondering if I need to do a reinstall?

Stupid question but just need clarifaction. When seatbelt is set to auto. Do I hve to turn it on off at cruise or just leave on auto. When desencending do I turn it bck to auto n at fate do I turn it off. Or do I just leave it at auto whole flight gate to gate
