PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hello PMDG,this aircraft is still amazing! Own it since day one and I don´t get tired of it. I have noticed a small issue. When fuel is at zero, the indication of all pictures I have seen show "0" instead of "000" as you can see in the PMDG aircraft.http://jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=7207285&nseq=4Probably easy to change?

Hi,Finally have rig that is on top of the notch for FSX. Really quite happy with the performance. But I'm just wondering if I can still get more out of it. You can see my hardware specs below.In heavy circumstances (Aerosoft Airports like EHAM, LFPG...), with bad weather, maxed out scenery with UTX, GEX, REX, in the NGX, I'm getting around 27-30 fps on the ground. And around 30-35 fps in the air, around 40-50 fps in cruise. A few bad things I"m noticing though, is that I'm still seeing stutters, but I think that's because of my HDD. What's the recommend HDD for FSX (a one that is not too expensive?). Or is there another way to reduce stutters (without an FPS limiter, bec…

Sorry guys but i just want to see if you can help me with this frames issue in a another aircraft from Leonardo. It does the total opposite of the NGX. When mouse ON SCREEN i get 30-60% more frames .You must agree that that is very weird right ?Thanks and then remove this post to general but please help if you can. Is there any chance of the landing gear manual release being added in an SP? I understand that it can't be 100% modelled due to FSX's requirement for all the gear to go down at once, however I don't see why it can't at least be partially modelled. Even if it dropped the gear at once, it would be better than "just push ctrl-g"

When I load a saved flight, the forward overhead panel often comes up in a squished format ... see below. Note, for instance, that the AC and DC voltmeters are gone. If I close it and reopen the panel from the usual clickspot, everything is fine. Is there a way to fix this? (Other panels all open fine.)Tom Kent

Hello, when you veiw the engine spinning in flight it does not seem to be smooth like my other planes and not realistic is that right?many thanksjames.

Today was the first time I have flown on VATSIM in the 737 NGX and am wondering if anybody else has this issue. When flying VATSIM and if I switch to look at VATSPY or look at my weather program or go to the internet I get a buzzing sound. When I go back into the cockpit the buzzing goes away. I have tried different sound settings and different acceleration settings with no luck. Anything I can do to remedy this?

I must be something missing... I started the 737NGX from the cold and dark state using trisagers tutorial. Everything seems to be working (see screenshots below), but when I move the throttle forwards absolutely nothing happens...? Well, I see the throttle move, but there is no thrust. How come? Hey, i was wondering if PMDG could make a main gear touchdown sound that plays in external view, when i land and watch the replay in the wing view, it feels like there's a missing sound when it touches down...A sound similar to the sound planes do while taxiing over cracked surfaces and hit the bumps.It doesn't have to be loud, cause that would spoil the sensantion of a smooth landing, but it must be hearable ;)Maybe PMDG can implement this in SP1c :)Santi

Hi guys, I'm currently controlling the NGX and all other planes in FSX via an old and half broken Saitek stick. It is doing its work but I think I should change in the future. As I mostly fly planes with yokes and seldomly fighters or Airbus I think of getting a yoke. Which one can you advice me?! Please keep in mind that I currently go to school so I don't get that much money to spend and I don't wanna wait to long till I have the money. And btw how does it feel flying the NGX with a yoke?!

Hi i just wanted to know if this was normal. When i land on the runway the brakes are engaged automatically and show in the left hand corner. I am using CH pedals and have to step on them twice to get them to release. Is this the autobrake kicking or a bug.Kind Regards Chris.

Please helpWhen single engine after an engine failure - once the yaw has been contained and aircraft is climbing away the beta target (side-slip indicator) will not settle it swings randomly from one side to the other without any change to the rudder pedal deflection.The wind is set to zero.Any suggestions on how to resolve this? Is the NGX suppose to be pitched at a certain angle and not completely horizontal when you reach flight level and autopilot is turned on? I found that kind of weird. I'm taking off at 5 degrees flaps, trim is at ~ 6.0 and the plane maintains flight at around an angle of 5-10 degrees.

Hi guysIn an effort to improve my performance I inadvertently used someone else's fsx.cfg (to take up the recommendations from fsxtimes.com) instead of copying across only the sections I needed (long story). anyway, he had his own copy of the NGX and when I tried to load it, I got asked to activate mine again...which I did but it wouldn't work (obviously must be looking for his ver not mine). anyway, I tried to uninstall but, whilst the a/c has disappeared from fsx, it still shows up as blank docs in my program mgr and I can't uninstall that. Is there any other way to uninstall? I have both the 600/700 and 800/900 which I'll reinstall/activate when its done but the instal…

Hi i just bought the PMDG 737 and i gotta say in the 10 minutes flying it i am really impressed, It is very smooth and very happy with the quality. I only have a few questions so far like where is the best place to learn and read about the 737's systems? I have also noticed its hard to use some of the knobs with my mouse i cant seem to turn it where i want can I fix that? and lastly i just figured out how to put on livery's and im just curious if anyone knows where i can get a Air Tran livery i didn't see one available. I noticed today mainly as I fell foul of it during a bad weather landing at Dalaman (Turkey) (LTBS) That the NGX FMC seems to think this airport is a dual runway airport and therefore gives landing approaches for Runway 1R and 1L. I know for a fact from flying in and out of there alot as a passenger this is a single runway airport. (unless a very recent modification has happened) Having said that putting into the FMC to land on ILS Runway 1R sets it all up correctly however as I emerged from the clouds I could see I was lined up to one side, i.e my nose wheel would have touched down basically on the right hand edge of the runway.
