Hey AllHas anyone have tried those tools with FSX/NGX ? I think the first versions where useless but I read a few reviews where people seemed to be getting good results with the latest installements.Not sure I really believe in those tools. Anyway, I'd be interested to see if someone tried those on our favorite plane.Best,Karim

I am trying to configure the NGX useing the .ini files in the FSX\PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\Aircraft folder, but when I go to save it it says , This file already exists would you like to overwrite it?, so I say yes and it says access denied...please help! :sad:Thanks.

Hi, Since installing PMDG 737 NGX I have lost all ATC communications, both sound and text, nav. idents , marker beacon sounds etc. in FSX, on all aircraft including the default ones. All other sounds are fine. I get instructions in the FSX adventures, but no ATC sounds or texts there either. I have tried adjusting settings for auto opening ATC window etc, but still nothing. When flying the 737NGX all the other sounds are correct, including the duplicated speed call outs, at different speeds and height call outs on approach, but no ATC comms, nav idents etc. Can anyone help please? I am running FSX SP2, no acceleration, and REX. My 737NGX has been uninstalled and re-insta…

I was checking out the activity on IVAO the other night and noticed a 737-800 flight from Tenerife-South to Tampere, Finland. I thought it would be fun to try something like it, so last night I did my longest flight to date in the -800 SAS Freda King from Tenerife North (GCXO) to Helsinki (EFHK): 2683 nm, 06h01m. I used AS2012 for weather and REX-OD for textures. Brought along 36500 lbs of fuel, and had a spectacular sunrise t/o from rwy 30 on the KORAL1J departure with flaps 10 and V2=150. I have hit some key combination or something now I can't pan around when I'm in virtual cockpit 3d mode. I used to just hold the space bar and move my mouse cursor and zoom in and out to my hearts content but now it wont work. I'm lost anybody have any ideas?

Teamcan anyone point me to the tables in FCOMV1 which give these weights for the 24 & 22k Derates over varying field lengths.there are tables for 26k at for example chapter PD.50, but none I can find for the derates ?

Lately I've been seeing an issue that afflicts most of my saved panel flights. Be it the default "last flight" panel state of a panel state that accompanies a saved flight.After beginning to taxi, I noticed the rudder and nose wheel are hard stuck, regardless of my pedal position, and the aircraft turns in a tight right hand circle. Is anyone else experiencing this? I've yet to open a ticket as I'm trying to find a sure way to replicate the issue. No failures active.Rudder "Hard-over" :(90 degrees when stationaryNose wheel deflection decreases when moving at any speed. (Camera angle is the same as last shot)

Hello AllI seem to have a bit of an issue when reloading a saved panel state in so far as when I perform a Recall, the captain's and FO's System Annunciators are lit up light Christmas trees with every error showing, FLT CONT, ELEC, IRS, APU etc - they're all there.Warnings aside, the panel has loaded fine and nothing actually appears to be wrong ???Anyone have any ideas what may be causing the warnings to illuminate - any help much appreciated.RegardsGary

Hello all,Doing a standard procedures take-off from EGLL-LEPA. Done all my planning and procedures as per the many, helpful checklists around.Taxiing to 26L, flaps 5 all systems good. No warnings. Normal take-off; get to accel ht, go to retract flaps - nada. Obv now I'm outside of the FMC envelope so VNAV turns off..I make to RTA, all the while trying to retract flaps but stuill nothing..It's as after one of my saves I noted in an earlier post..I paused and ran the mouse over the flaps..no click point. No response from any of the flaps keys..No warningsFortunately, I had saved on the apron just before taxi, so I loaded, and guess what? No flap click point..couldn't retrac…

I noticed something crazy when using FSX+NGX:When I do the normal power-up (Startup State Cold and dark, normal checklist, ...) I get around 25 FPS. But after 5-10 minutes, the frames are only at 20 anymore. Any idea what I could do?Thanks

Hi,can someone help me because i have some difficulties to correctly setup track IR 5.0 and NGX.In two words: I am not able to nullify the micro movements of the head, then use a gauge becomes very difficult because I have to chase the wheel of the gauge using the mouse.The best would be for me to have a profile.Thanks in advance.Emanuele

Does anyone know if I should update the FMS every cycle with navigraph data or if I just keep FS Commander up to date I will still get accurate plans. I tried using the FSC forum but apparently my question was too dumb to warrant a civil response. It appears to me that I will need to do two downloads at 20 credits each which translates to about $60 I think.Any advise will be appreciated.Thanks

Greetings all,I've seen references to ISA DEV in this forum, and also see this on the FMC. What exactly is it, and how is it used? Is it only for pre-flight, or does it also apply during cruise and/or descent?I know it has something to do with temperature deviations, but any help here would be appreciated.(edit): I also use ActiveSky2012. As the topic suggests, what would be considered max climb and descent rate in FPM during normal operations of the 737 or the 737-800 with winglets to be more specific?I have a program called XPax from HiFi and looking at the options these values are by default set to max 8000 ft/min for climb and max 4000 ft/min for descent and just want to know if these values are realistic for a 738WL a/c?TIA,

Hi guys,I noticed this problem some days ago when i've installed the PMDG NGX after a system format.In the external livery i cannot see my engine's fan! Hello,are there any recommendations on installing both models in the same FSX installation?The reason why I'm asking is that in my current FSX installation 744 was first and then 737NGX.After months of storing 744 in the virtual Hangar i have some strange behaviourof the 744 like permanently switching of automatic speed controll duringVNAV operations and in inbetween some minutes the thrust goes to idleand comes back after some seconds.So i suppose maybe some interactions. On approach for RW 06L at LEPA, the NGX (configured for autoland with LAND 3 annunciation displayed) correctly tracking LOC + GS from 1700 ft down, suddenly at 300 ft stopped tracking the GS, stayed almost level with autothrotle increasing the power setting to remain in flight, and after crossing the RW threshold tried to land with a steep dive ending in disaster. I have retried the approach, same result. Don't have the problem with other autoland approaches like EHAM e.g. Anybody experienced something similar? NGX problem or LEPA scenery (Aerosoft Mallorca X) problem?

Hi thereDURING MANUAL FLIGHT AND MANUAL SE FLIGHTHaving purchased PMDG's 737NGX I have a major complaint that I cannot seem to rectifyThe A/C is automatically trimming in pitch on random occasions normally when dealing with large speed changes.THe A/C is automatically trimming the rudder during single engine events. Autorudder rudder is disabled and all realism slidders are set to most realistic.PMDG what is going wrong?

hi i have been trying to figure out a proper way to start up my pmdg 737. I can easily power it down after landing and in to cold-dark mode but i cant seem to get both engines back on only 1 or none. I did the whole tutorial 1 that came with the plane but it didn't explain how to start the plane and also took a quick look through the other manuals but i couldn't find anything. I looked it up and found a few lists of procedures for starting the plane up but i cant seem to get it to work at all. I would appreciate it if someone could post a good and easy checklist to understand, I don't know why i cant get this it is not my first payware plane. All help is appreciated Than…

Recently I've been flying to smaller airports which have limited taxiways and rely on taxiing on the runway to the end, making a 180 deg turn and lining up for takeoff, or backtracking after landing. I've found the NGX has difficulty in making a 180 deg turn on a standard width runway without putting a wheel on the grass. You can just make it by keeping speed very low and beginning on the extreme edge of the runway. It shouldn't be that much of a problem for a 737, even a 747 can manage it. So I did a little research and found the maximum nosewheel steering angle for all models is 78 degrees. In the aircraft.cfg files the steering limit is set at 60 deg. I increased…
