PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Of late, during start up from cold n dark state, when I click the Standby Btty power I hear a loud hissing noise and when I click the APU Generators the noise gets louder.The irritating noise is so loud it even drowns the engine sounds. This problem started after I deleted the dll files of ENB mod. Please help.Ramana Nandyal

I'm sure that I am overlooking an obvious answer, but I've searched and searched and RTFM, but no joy.The NGX was my first add-on so I'm used to liveries with a .ptp file and the livery manager. However, there are many great liveries available that do not have a .ptp file. Instead they have texture files, dds files etc. For example,My question is: How do install these types of liveries? Could you point me in the right direction for a tutorial? TIA

A few days ago a Captain asked me to find three places in the cockpit with the Boeing logo. I have been looking everywhere but to no avail. Hi Folks,I do not participate actively in the forum that much, since I try to read and learn.However I have seen several people demanding for PDMG to release their SDK, so it would be possible to get a more realistic cockpit experience: in other words, be able to interact through a FO the airplane and I would like to share this with them:By coincidence I run into a software application which does this in a terrific good way, without using SDK or key-mapping.I have been testing it for more than a week now and really impressed by its capabilities.You may even say different commands in a very natural way to get the same result done by the FO.And last but not least, it works …

Has any one experienced a FSX crash when trying to delete a HOLD (even accidently) in ATE RTE PAGE ( not ATE RTE LEGS page). it always happens to me.

Since updating with SP1 my 737-800NGX does not appear on the splash screen when I open FSX nor is it in the livery manager list anymore ... when I view the FSX files the relevant folder is still there; however I cannot view the aircraft as per the circumstances I have previously described. Prior to the SP1 update I had added the Qantas livery to it and this folder is still there. Being relatively new to this could someone please advise me on the procedure to resurrect this aircraft. This was a problem I had had earlier that went away. However, it returned today and I can't seem to solve it again. What happens is when I exit a flight with the NGX, the FSX UI appears int he bottom right hand corner of the screen, almost completely blank and reading "No Title" (you may have seen this happen to for a few seconds, but this isn't going away). The odd thing is, even though the program won't respond to any input, Task Manager says it's running fine and when I press "End Task" the usual "Are you sure you want to quit?" window pops up, I click "yes" and it closes normally.And no, I'm not reloading the NGX, this happens after just loading it once.Thanks,boeing2…

You can change the maximum number of passengers, the 738 puts at most 174 passengers. I would like to put in 189 passengersantonio arrabal

Hello,yesterday I insatalled two new liverys via the livery manager. The one plne has kgs as unit and the other one hast lbs as unit.How can I change the lbs unit aircraft into kgs unit aircraft??? Can I do this via FMC???Thanks and cheers, Jerome

I created a save flight the other with the NGX 737-700 on the ILS 19R into KSNA at around Snake Intersection, and everything was working fine. I loaded the flight just now about five minutes ago, and now my mouse cursor will show the mouse pointer along with the "Wait" blue circle next to it. The cursor will stay that way on the home screen and even after I close FSX. I rebooted my PC and as soon as I click the FSX icon now, I am shown the wait symbol.Any ideas guys?I already deleted the save flight file.Edit: The only way to make the wait symbol disappear is to reboot. Hi,The altitude setting cannot be increased. It starts with 1000 ft. Moving the knob upwards or downwards doesnot make any difference, all it does is decreasing the height. Please help to solve this.

Because the other threats were closed, I have to start a new one.Since yesterday after i received my crucial m4 ssd i made a complete reinstall of win 7 and allthough FSX. Everything was fine. One of the main things that I really love about it, is that you can see a real time diagram of the airport, where you are, and where other traffic is. That right there is a seller to me, as I frequently travel to unknown airports, and hate having to squint at my printers crappy printout.Anyways. Hello everyone,I'm an ATPL student in LFMT (France). Our school gave the opportunity to 20 of us to try a Full motion flight simulator of the 737-800 at Air Campus Simuflight Center in LFLL. It was the best day of my life !!The sim was made by Sim industries, a high quality dutch company.The cockpit was amazing like the real aircraft. When you sit in the captain's seat you realize that the cockpit is really small compared to what we see in flight simulator. All the switches were there !!I was easily able to start up the aircraft and then taxied to rwy 36L. The control columns were really hard and the tiller is really sensitive!! I didn't expect that.The take off was funny…

Hi All,i just purchased the new Saitek Trim wheel which works on the Elevator trim axis and it works very well with the default aircraft and also PMDG 747 and MD-11 although it doesn't work properly with the the NGX. I have properly calibrated the device but to no avail, the trim just works sometimes and only in one direction.I searched a few forums before posting and it seems that a fair number of other users are having the same problem with the NGX. I have also tried setting up the axis as a normal FSX assignment and also through FSUIPC.Has anybody else had experience with this device and specifically with the NGX.
