PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hello everyone,I have had a big problem ever since I installed the PMDG 747X, and the problem is that when i start up my fsx, when i look on to my NGX, it no longer has my winglet variations and yet more, the name has changed from PMDG 737-800 (and 900) NGX to PMDG 737ng!!!This is a problem that shouldnt have happened down the line, and would appreciate any replies!!Thanks

When I choose the landing vref in the fmc, there is a small, green indication which appears on the bottom of the speed tape on the pfd. It usually says ref and underneath,xx/yyy, where x is the landing flap setting, and y is the vref. However, on the past two flights, whenever I choose vref, I only get an indication which says ref, with only the vref speed underneath and no final landing flap setting. Is this normal for this to occur sometimes, or is my panel state corrupted, as I always save my panel state at the end of each flight, and use it as my starting state for the next flight.Edit: the topic is supposed to say vref, not verge, I am typing on my phone and the auto…

Purchased the 737 NGX package earlier this week but I'm having trouble getting it to run correctly. It appeared to install correctly and when I start a flight I'm able to pan around in the cockpit but after a short period of time the view locks and I haven't figured out how to reset it. Occassionally, the Simulation Paused message appears at the bottom but pressing the "P" key does nothing. I'm able to manipulate any display or switch that's in my field of view when pan freezes but that's about it. Hi!Is there any way to calculate the correct flying time before the flight starts?I can calculate the average wind in active sky. So this maybe can come to use when it comes to calculating how long my flight will take? Like "exact" not just "400 kts 400 nm = 1 hour"... Is it anyway to do this? I know that the FMC does a pretty accurate calculation but i want this in my preflight...how do you calculate these times?Thanks/Niklas Eriksson

Whenever I fly in a 737, I observe the air conditioning is turned off prior to engine start. I imagine this has to do with the pneumatic/duct air pressure to have enough power for the engine start. But what is the real procedure in the overhead panel? What switches these pilots turn on or turn off?Thanks

Hi!I know that there are a lot of these thrust problem, with people that cannot slow down...I have a similar problem, but still not the same... Thats why i create a new thread for this.I hope this is okay, otherwise, start yelling at me ; -)All kidding aside...My problem is not slowing down (at least i think so) but my problem is that when im on ground, the plane more or less taxiis without any thrust at all... sometimes i have to apply extremly low amount of thrust to start moving, but then the aircraft increases in speed all the time, with the throttles in idle position (i am using a saitek yoke and throttles)Its a bit annoying and I think a bit unrealistic to have to t…

I was leaving for a couple hours, so I loaded a flight with the NGX and turned on "Pause at Top of Descent". However, when I returned, I checked my computer only to find that the aircraft was still at cruising altitude several hundred miles past my destination. Was the problem that the target altitude wasn't reset? Though that doesn't seem to have anything to do with pausing...

Everything has been working just great my last flight from Reno to Saltlake went without a hitch. This morning I opened up the sim and noticed that my speed brake was going from the stored postion to about a 1/2 inch backwards just going back and forth. I can deploy it all the way back but if I try to store it; again the back and forth action. I went to change the settings to another switch but still no good...helpThomas Thompson

Ok so I recently bought the NGX (two days ago). I don't know if this is a result of a bad install or what but whenever I select cold and dark setup, and I try to start the APU, nothing happens. The oil light comes on, however the EGT does not move at all. I tried this using the default setup, and when I start the APU, the EGT rises, but I can not get the busses to work. They light up but when I turn them on nothing happens either. Also, I have no failures on. Any help is appreciated.Jay Perry

I plane to flight from finland,and during start engine notice engine start switch not move to OFF position,before this flight always turn to off after engine start with stable.Is possible OAT got too cold -22C? or other reason?

I just got a problem I haven't seen before, the yaw damper light won't come off although I have switched the yaw damper ON and I also got a FLT CONT warning on the RECALL panel. I have no failures enabled.What am I missing here...?

I used the FMC to plan my flight from PANC - KSEA and should have about 7 tonnes left when I landed according to the PROG page. I took off and climbed to about FL170 when I had to go and help my missus outside. I paused it for about 40 mins. When I came back in and unpaused the sim, the PROG page indicated I would only have 2.3 tonnes left.Why the sudden drop? What the hell happened?

I can fly the NGX anywhere and always stay about 30 fps, every slider except for water and terrain mesh is set to full. For some reason, every control surface on this plane only, lags, fps wise. It is not a smooth motion, for example, when deploying the spoilers. It feels like it is about 10 fps or below. Does anyone else have this problem?

Help, what did I do wrong. Not all but some liveries disappear (screen goes black) when I move the new window (exterior plane view) to my second monitor. Does not do with all of them just some. If I pull window back to main monitor it shows fine. If it did it with all of them it would make more sense but why just some of them. Thanks for any help on this.

Yep. You read the title right.I finally got the 600/700 series. I wanted a small airplane anyway, and it was only 24 bucks at the special PMDG sale before it goes up to $30. Downloading right now... Can't wait to test it out on the sexy Southwest livery!
