Yes, I know other people have also written about this - but guess what - none of them have had a replySo here goes my effortCan you please adviseI have the NGX 737-8/900 with Svc Pack 1 and 1b installed.I have had nothing but FSX freezes and the last few flights which can occur early on - or later on. Hello,I know there has been some writing before on the subject of autobrakes, but I think I have a slightly different problem.When landing the NGX with autobrakes setting 2, below 80kts I begin with manual braking and the autobrake disengages. Plane is rolling smoothly and responding well on throttle and manual braking.When I switch the autobrake to off, the plane suddenly stops (you don't want that to happen on the runway..)When the plane has come to a hold, it takes a bit of braking and throttles to get her off the runway.When I don't switch the autobrakes to off after disengaging by manual braking, I don't have this problem. HiToday I flew from Billund (Denmark) to Kastrup (Denmark)On my way up to cruising altitude, I got a order to fly direct to TNO ( A waypoint) But the FMC had set an altitude restriction (FL120B) and therefore would the aircraft not climb anymore. I deleted the restriction but it just got worse. And I had to fly the rest of the flight without VNAV.What should I have done to avoid the problem?

I need to have payload = empty (no passengers, no cargo) when I load PMDG 737 in an airport. Saving own panel state (and loading with it) does not save payload amount, and at new game start it shows again 65 passengers and cargo>0. Nevertheless saving own panelstate (and loading with it) saves teh FUEL quantity. :unknw:Please, tell me, where can I change payload amount (which file)?

I am looking for suggestions for weather and scenery addons for NGX. I fly out of KDFW - but I am usually headed to the Pacific Northwest. I noticed ORBX has that area covered well. The I have seen some software that claims to cover the entire US ???Also, I am looking for a good weather scenery addon. REX2.0 seems nice, but I really don't know much about addons, I have only recently added my first scenery addon - GSX for ground service. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks !

Hi guys,Somehow the last thread that I had started in regards to this topic got erased for some unknown obscur reason. There was some valuable info about building a simpit with the NGX so I'm starting a new one.If the previous contribution could be re-inserted it would be great. Hi all,I'm flying the NGX using Aivlasofts EFB to do my flightplanning and VoxATC6 for the ATC. I seem to be having a little problem though with a SID, and I wonder if anyone can help? (It's probably something daft I'm doing or not doing but I can't figure it out!) ((Also the VoxATC is not important here i just used it in this case to determine the active runway))I'm trying to recreate a Ryanair 738 flight from Liverpool EGGP to Shannon EINN. Hey there guys/gals.....I'm a bit confused, and was hoping someone could help. I've been flying the PMDG 737-700 and I've got what I think everything setup for a autoland. I've got both Navs set to the ILS frequency, switched over to APP, my CMD A is on and working, but I select the 2nd autopilot and it stays on for a few seconds then shuts off.Both F/D's are on, the realistic A/P is off in the setup of the FMC, so I'm not getting the aircraft to flare. I'm flying approach on LOC and gear is up. When G/S is captured, I lower flaps to 15 and a warning sound starts buzzing? It stops as soon as I start gear down. Is this simply a warning to put gear down?And more importantly, where is this explained? I've looked in both FCOMs and the FCTM and can't find anything about it.The manuals are great for reading thru but awful for finding something specific even using the PDFs and searching is problematic.

Hey guys, was hoping you could help me out on this one. I'm finally getting the hang of the PMDG and the FMC. I am programming in my routes and ready to go, but one thing, I'm trying to fly out, and ATC won't give me clearance to fly because an airport is currently IFR. I've done IFR clearance through the FS program and created those VOR to VOR routes, but now that I'm using the FMC, I don't file the FSX plan. Can someone provide some advice?Thanks-Bill Johnson

How realistic is the turn radius of the NGX (I'd better say: are turn radii)?I'm asking because in the past, and right up until now, I have difficulties when performing real world approaches like Santos Dumont (the one with the ~180 deg turn in front of some hills) or Innsbruck (includes a 180 deg turn as well): In all the videos on the 'net, those approaches look like a relatively easy to do thing. When I try to do the same in FSX, I'm about to crash into the mountains or miss the runway extension line even with full possible bank and minimum speed. Besides, I need to pull like crazy on the stick when doing such maneuvers, looks like an MS FS problem.It's a nasty problem…

I was just recently on a Southwest flight to BNA and when we left DTW we had to cross a runway (this was 6:00a.m. so dark) I had noticed that there was a light like the taxi or landing light flashing....one turns on the other turns off...I am guessing this is to indicate they are crossing a runway so other pilots can see them crossing the runway....but have any of you noticed that or is that a light feature in the plane.....it is modeled in the NGX???????I was just curious to see what people said about this.
