Just wondering. Personally, they're all my favorite!

i usually do short flights no longer than 3 hours and i have only done a couple long hauls. Last night i did a 6h 30min flight and i really liked it so i think i am going to now stick with the long hauls. Right now i have 6 hours left till i land in KJFK from EGLL :( . I was wondering what do people prefer, long hauls or short flights.Sorry about the title it should be do.

Guys, is there a way to increase the speed of the rotating beacon. I notice that on certain models 800 eg a 7 second lapse in the on/off cycle. looking at the real acft it is a max of 2 seconds.thanks all you wizzkidsMel

Hi all,While searching an item in the registry having nothing to do with PMDG I tubled by chance over a looooooooong list of PMDG related entries not only containing system related files (as expected) but as well e.g. flight plans, the content of the complete sidstar folder, wav-files. :(Question: Is that normal and if yes why????I'm always keen to keep my registry clean and like to ask what happens if I would delete this stuff (of course after saving the whole tree)? I even do not know which PMDG product is responsible. I do have three candidates: the Queen (B744), the J-41 and the NGX with all variants.

Dear All,When flying in the VC, camera at the pilot head position or so, and in order to have a view wide enough to include part of the windscreen, the main panel, the whole MCP, and the center upper DU, I have to set the zoom level (as displayed in red in screen upper right corner) to around 0.5 zoom. This is done by mouse wheel in conjunction with space bar.The 0.5 zoom is wide enough, but makes graphics not sharp as they were designed, and it becomes a bit difficult to read numbers and move knobs and buttons near each other, let go using the FMC. I thought this problem would become less sensible if I hook up my 35" LCD via the HDMI. But this didn't happen. Still I can…

Hi captains, I just want to share some pics on my last leg from VABB-VOMM (Mumbai-Chennai, India). Loved how the sun shines through the cockpit. Visibility was about 4 miles on final. Noticed that the plane was a bit floating while doing the landing flare. To save forum space, I have uploaded the pics on an external album. HiToday i try start first flight with 700 series NGX, but after the engine start and pushback the plane does not move anywhere.I set to Full throttle, only i hear the warning sound but plane does not move.I have this problem also in 800-900 series. Can you tell me how i can resolve this problem?All ground systems are removed after engine start.This is very annoying problem and id like to start soon my flights using NGX.Thank you.All the systems should be fine, i start flight from Cold&Dark.

I've experienced the "no thrust" problem today.The probblem is that the thrust leveler moved but the thrust stays at 20% n1 (Engine 2 is working fine)HELPHELPHELP

Hello guys, I have been looking for someone who is able to re create this aircraft into a repaint for the 737-700NGX. This aircraft was recently based in Van Nuys but unfortunate it moved. Hey boys and girls,today i haven't gone to school as i am a little bit sick, so used the time to practice on a go around.after going around and circling back, i hit the loc/vor button, and after i established I hit the app button as i should but this time the plane didn't start to decent when it needed and stayed in the same altitude, what am i doing wrong?BTW when i am doing a visual approach and want to go around the toga switch isn't working so do i need to arm the auto throttle and then hit the toga switch or bring the throttle up manually? thanks!

Hopefully, this won't spark a whole bunch of "OMG WHEN IS IT GOING TO HAPPEN?!?!?!?" but on my way into work, I saw a decal that might be interesting to some:Sorry for the poor quality, but it's from my cell phone at a stoplight at twilight (on a typical cloudy winter morning in VA), so I didn't have the best opportunity to snag it. I'll put a pic of the real thing (the real plane, not the real decal) in a later post when I get home tonight.If you're still missing what it is, look closely at the yellow/blue circle.

Has anyone updated the official PMDG Qantas repaint for the NGX that can be found on the PMDG website? It's got NZ registration of "ZK" with an Australian flag when it should have a "VH" rego. Just a little thing, but an annoying thing.

My 737-700NGX does not want to climb to a higher level. On vnav and lnav mode she stops climbing at about fl320, and/ or she climbs at a rate of 300ft/min.The plane is loaded with 40% fuel (8385kgs) and 52 passengers. Opt flight level is 399, max 410. The aftertakeoff checklist is completed, so it is not something like flaps.I have switched between econ climb and max climb with no difference.Who can advise me on this one?
