I like to select my runways after getting the ATIS report. At departure this isn't bad because I have no engine noise. However inflight I find it impossible to hear the ATIS over the engine noise. Anyone have a good set of "sound slider Settings" that gives a happy compromise between voice and engine.Thanks

Hy all,For filling my NGX CDU with an accurate F/P I use vroute (not the premium version...) then I export for FSX. So I have a .pln flight plan.I then run pln2rte to a=have a .rte flight plan to load in the NGX.My AIRAC for the NGX is up to date.When flying and following my route on the screen, I am straight on the route, but FSX atc ask me to follow a certain heading. And several minutes after it will ask me to resume my navigation.I think the conversion is the problem. I tried the same route but dialing manually the route in the CDU, and have no issue.CAn someone confirm pln2rte and NGX are not compatible? Yesterday I changed FSX save for the built in utility of FSUIPC4 to save my flights. Now I experience the following problem. When I reload a flight there is a VNAV disconnect. I can connect VNAV again, but there remains a message "no autoland" below engine one in my lower eicas display and I do not know how to clear this message. Can anyone help?Frans Mulder

I have recently installed the 737-8/900NGX addon for FSX after having run it successfully on FS2004 for several years.On doing my first proper flight (with cruise altitude at FL350) I noted that while the autopilot (engaged in LNAV) mode initially was able to hold heading it started oscillating (hunting) the required heading with greater and greater amplitudes, to such a degree that aural "bank angle" warnings started going off with the autopilot in some instances turning me as much as 90 degrees off course from the commanded track. Switching from LNAV to Heading Select made no difference either. I attempted to manually control the heading using the joystick, but this too…

Gotta Say my fellow NGXers......I came across this clip just yesterday and I immediately thought...."Damn, I've carried that approach out in the NGX using the HGS several times, and the attention to detail by PMDG still blows me away".See what you guys think? so, today i had a lot of free time, so i started to check somethings that i saw when i have been in the cockpit, so i remembered that i saw the captain showing me that no matter what we will do with the alearons and the rudder trim there's a button that if you'r clicking on it it will reset it.today i have been tried to find this button without luck, can anyone confirm that this button is actually there?thanks.(:

Hi all. I recently install the 737NGX. It flew fine fine for a while, but now, when I start from the cold and dark configuration, the red X that marks when the IRS needs the be aligned on the PFD stays, even after the IRS has been aligned. I reinstalled the 737, and started it from the default pre-configured mode, but the red X is still there. Is there something I am doing wrong?Cheers

Do I have a misunderstanding of how this should work.I fly the same aircraft oil quantity at departure is 18 Left/ 19 Right. I fly it all day and when Im terminating the flight for the night, it reads 17 Left / 18 Right, I lost a quart through out the day. (Very realistic may I add). I start FSX the next morning with the same aircraft and it reads 18 Left /19 Right again. Should it have not been at 17 & 18 the way it arrived the night before?

I previously had the 800/900 installed.I've upgraded to sp1b and added the 600/700. I know I remember that we were to delete panel states, and co routes? yes? no?Don't need to delete liveries anymore though, correct?If I should, in fact, delete old configurations, panel states, rte files....or whatever, could you also tell me where they should be located? Hi i am a new here with an activation problem with 737ngx base package. After countless crashing of win7 32 bit i bit the bullet and upgraded to win7 64bit .Now when i tried to install the PMDG 737NGX base package i have bought its now telling me i have exceeded my activation limit,please forgive me if isound upset but with the hassle of computer problems in general i expected to be able to use the program i boughtIf i am in the wrong place i am sorry please direct my message help.

Hey guys, I've had this problem since I had the NGX but only just thought to flag it up on here.I have a problem with regards to the flaps; when they are in motion they do not move smoothly all the time, they move smoothly at times and then they will jutter. It's not to do with my FPS as I have smooth fps and never below 25fps.Is there any fix for this?Thanks in advance guys,Kind Regards,Danny

Hello! I'm trying to fly a specific approach at SBVT that is a RNAV (GNSS) approach (chart - http://www.aisweb.ae...fd5ff&CFTOKEN=0). My FMS data is up to date (1202 AIRAC Cycle), but I can't find this approach listed at the DEP/ARR page (in fact I can only choose the runway, no stars or approaches are available). Is there a way to insert this waypoint manually at the LEGS page? I've searched this information at the FCOMv2 manual that comes with the aircraft but I was unable to find what I was looking for.I know I can enter a waypoint into the flight plan by entering Waypoint/Radial/Distance. Now I'm wondering how can I program this RNAV approach.Thanks.

Hi!There is not an ACARS in the NGX. On the old PMDG there was an ACARS well the EVENT Page. Would it be possible to get this one in the NGX, too? It's a very nice feature to see the times without other extern tools.PS: I have used the search function, but could not find an answer.

Can someone tell me how and why my color has changed to a light blue on the circuit breaker and bareley visibal on the MCP and the FMC's back lightning is purplish, everything else is fine?? Not sure how to changes these back, not sure if REX has something to do with it?Thanks,

Hey guys i loaded my NGX up today and i have black gauges!! The aircraft loads fine but my gauges are black. On inspection my PMDG folder is empty in my fsx directory does this matter??? Iv tried to reinstall but its saying m download URL is expired. Hi - I just got a new computer and have done a fresh install of FSX with SP1 and 2. I then added FSUIPC 4.8, Ultimate Traffic 2 and ASE2012. I've just installed the NGX (with the latest SP) and am having CTD issues for the first time. There is no real pattern to the crashes, sometimes it happens if I try to click on one of the FS menus - In this instance the screen goes black and i need to use ctl+alt+del to shut it down. In other instances I can get the airplane flying but at some point during the climb or leveling off in cruise (without doing anything), I get the blue circle cursor and then a windows error that shuts down FSX. Hi there,A bit of a weird one this, have never seen it before the other day and I don't recall it happening with any other add-on.I've also ran about 20 different searches on the forum before posting, just in case - but to no avail.In the past week I have upgraded from the first hotfix of the NGX800/900 to SP1b and immediately started noticing graphical issues in the VC which would be completely random - but would start within the first minute of the session.Basically it looks like "bits" of the VC texture will shoot out into a "bar", straight through the VC - which could be any direction.
