Does anybody know why or how to fin the speed tape problem? I can be on the ground in preflight and its at 45 knots but GS reads 0. My GS is always correct and even landing and slowing on the runway it never goes below 45K on the HUD either. Anybody know why??Thanks,Jon

Hello ladies and gent'safter a long time using the Topcat with the NGX with inaccurate results, i decided to put that subject up.when i am planning a flight with the topcat on the payload section, there's baggage's and pax,1. how do i simulate it on the NGX i mean is that part of the ZFW? if i put it in ZFW the passenger's are not accurate.2. how can i simulate children, infant's and adult's separately?in other subject, the stb. trim always showing less then what the FMC gives me, let's say topcat says +5.5, the FMC tells +6.3.what should i do to make it right? and the final problem is when i calculate the assume temperature, it always needs a lot warmer temperature. for …

I have been trying to install some liveries using the Livery Manager, but time I click on the OPEN button I get a 'Livery Manager has stopped working' message. I have even closed W7 and re-started but still the same problem. SP1b is installed. Any clues?Neil Bradley

Still having the same problems, i have emailed pmdg support they have tried everything. The problem i am experiencing is that my plane turns to the right and left soo quick like evry one secs and the front wheel cant stay straight it is really annoying. this only happens when you use default atc by fsx and when your about to take off on the runway. I never experienced this problem before. Can somebody help me out please?

The Auto Brake disarms on touchdown, I installed the SP1b as instructed. Note: I'm using the CH pedals.

Is there any checklist out there that explains how to perform a go around? I'd like to do a couple, but I have no idea how. Do you engage the TOGA again or what?

Hy there,In Belgium we have this guy that does an amount of stunts for television each year (like swimming the channel etc...)Tonight we have an episode if him taking off a B737 from EBBR, flies to EBOS and does a couple of Touch and Goes. Hello i would appriate comments from PMDG about this...will the go flight throttles work just using fsx assignments only! i cant seem to use the fsuipc so i dont want to use it! anyone use go flight throttles with fsx assignments without any problems????i really dont want buy the ngx if it doesnt work without complex inputs etc when trying to use a throttle quad! i find it hard to belive that this level of sim, (basically pretty much the same realistic software used in level d sims?) wasnt designed to be used with hardware!regardsJoe

Every time I fly the NGX I never seem to be able to get what I think are the right sounds. For some reason, whenever I'm in an external view the cockpit ambience seems to be playing in the background. This happens even though I have the relevent option unticked in the CDU to play in external view. I then have to increase the engine sound and that then becomes so loud I can no longer hear the ATC! I have played around for hours with this and eventually need to ask fellas, can anyone offer some help. I have the AsusP8Z68-V MB with Realtek audio and no external sound card. Cheers guys...

Hi NGX-fans ,Two questions.Fuel-indicators : at this moment I have the rectangle form (dials) for the total of fuel in the 737-800 tanks. But I prefer the white round ones. I noticed last night that I was at about 35% N1 at idle in descent in VNAV, throttle mode "ARM". I could pull the throttle back manually and the throttle position indication would change, then rather quickly work back to 35%. Is this correct?Thanks!George

Hey everyone,I'm cruising along in the beautiful 737-600 (WestJet 571, CYHM to CYYC), and I just went to check my PROG page for an ETA at CYYC, and it says that I'm going to arrive at 0655Z. The problem is, the current time is 2239Z. I know it's not going to take another 8hrs, 16 mins to get there from where I am (somewhere over Lake Superior). Also, even though the current time is 2239Z, it says I will arrive at the DLH VOR at 0442Z. But DLH is only 160NM from my current location.I've checked my flightplan for any waypoints that are way off course but there are none. And yes, I've double-checked that my NGX clock is displaying zulu and not local time. The fuel prediction…

Hi Guys here is my inspector settings as promised, I do have a higher end rig but I found fsx to run slower on the 8x settings for some reason, read somewhere in one of Nicks threads to try this runs much better I hope this will help someone, also set your aa to antistropic in fsx menu, it does not work with bi & tri from what I have seen any questions just ask oh I am using whql 270.61 the new drivers were a disaster, thank you.

This may have been asked before, But Im going to ask again! So I have the NGX wear and tear tool turned on from with in the CDU, Does the wear and tear only happen if you save that aircraft you have it assigned to and load it up again another day?

HI caps,Yesterday i've notice something very weird; the reg numbers in the fsx menu do not match the one on the fuselage, same story for the reg number on top of the fmc screen. Some planes pick up reg number from others planes even when they are not even installed or used to be in my library.thanks for your help.

Just purchased the PMDG NGX, looks amazing!My question is I have 1 throttle quad. In the settings/controls for FSX I have throttle axis set to Z and on all my other planes the 1 lever will control multiple engines.On the FSX PMDG NGX the throttle lever will only control the Right engine. The left engine just stays at idle.Can someone help me w/ this?Thank you.EDIT: It was working last night when I did my test flight. Hi All,Just now I was flying from Suriname to Brazil in the 600. Weather was calm, no external engine. The plane was flying on AP in LNAV-VNAV mode and perfectly on course.When I approached my first waypoint the plane started to make small corrections from left to right to left and so on. There was no obvious reason for this behaviour, fuel tanks were balanced, engines were running normal. When getting closer to the waypoint the s-turns became slowly more steep and the course deviations were increasing as well. I've had a search and not found an answerI have side by side engine display turned offbut I get no engine dislays on the lower DU, if I switch it to nav, I get a nav displaya blank DU if it is set to norm.I've looked in the manuals, can someone explain to me how I can turn it on and get engine displays ?cheers
