Hi Robert and the gang,I have finally bought the 737NGX and it is brilliant. In particular I just wanted to say a big thankyou for someone FINALLY producing a plane for FSX that trims properly!It is the first flightsim plane I have flown (since around 1991!) that handles in pitch with anything like the stability, and accuracy of trimming, that I have experienced in my (admittedly limited to GA) real world flying. This makes it a joy to handfly (which I do for all approaches).Again, great job and thanks.Richard Shumack

I have typed up a simple Lua script that enables all CDU buttons to be assigned to buttons or keypresses via FSUIPC. I was primarily interested in the page shortcut buttons for which there are no Tab+... key commands that I am aware of, but ended up tracking all of them. (Yes I am aware of the Tab+... option for the alphanumeric, LSK and some other buttons, but this way the green border around the scratchpad doesn't flash up with every keypress). If anyone is interested, let me know - I'd be happy to post it here.

Whenever I load a saved flight, it starts off with VNAV disengaged. Any idea as to what might be causing this? It stated happening after I installed REX, but I'm not sure if they're connected.Thanks,boeing247

So everything is in order in my FMC, I take off, turn on VNAV and LNAV go to click on CMD to turn on the AP and it doesn't want to come on. It seems like it takes a while for it to activate. Anyone know why this is? Like I will click the CMD button and it wont turn on, until about a two three minutes of flying.

Hi,Is theere any way to silence the low battery alarm on the bus when you go for APU start without a ground cart? I can have everything turned off bar the battery switch and a single fuel pump and I still get the alarm for about twenty seconds. It's very loud :)Small but annoying feature. I'm guessing it can't be silenced in RL? (without power to the busses obv)bestjake

Hey I was taxing on the runway want to take off and my plane is just swinging from rite to the left and when I looked at the front wheel it seems it's going from left to right. What causes this? Dd anybody experience this problem.

Hello!I'm having a very annoying issue with my NGX. When i'm on the VC without the mouse pointer on the screen i get 50fps, when i put the mouse the fps drops to 26, 27. This is a huge drop, i know there is other topics with this issue but none of them provide some usefull info, this is a bug that only occurs on the PMDG 737 and the iFly 737, Other PMDG aircrafts like MD-11 runs very smooth and without that glitch.Someone have found a fix for this? maybe some other mouse pointer system? Will SP1c fix this perfomace issue? Why don't PMDG make a less complex VC version to fix this, i don't mind if the quality is slightly worse since i can fly this wonderfull aircraft with 5…

(I'm also no able to find any "search" button on the forum)So, sorry in advance if it's a frequent question on the forum.I'm surprised to find that there's no difference between the 737-800 and 737-900 concerning the Max ZWF, Max Gross Weight and Max Fuel on board !The only difference i've found was the total of passengers (174 for -800 and 186 for -900 in single class conf). Hello,As the tilte says! Finally I got it! I installed it immediatetly and next to that I faced two experiences. The DJX - Drop Jaw Xperience and the FCX - Full Cockpit Xperience. Amazing internal/external model, with all systems running appropriately. Sitting inside the cockpit it felt like the real thing! And the sounds!!I will do the tutorials but first I would love to do something properly. I plan to make a ferry/delivery flight from Boeing Field KBFI to EDDH but before, I have to learn all the systems of this beauty. I did do a search but nothing provides specifics on a walk through for the setup of a G940Can anyone provide a walk through to help setup a Logictech G940? I can not figure out how to assign a Left and Right engine control. Is there anyway to get reverse thrust setup without using FSUIPC?Any help to get this control system setup correctly would be great.Thanks

Hello,Once the aircraft has been initialized at the gate, I select the "Cold and Dark" state and wait for the aircraft to shutdown/reinitialize. At this point the aircraft is completely cold and dark with no engines sounds (the way it should be). If I select "spot view" to pan around the outside of the aircraft and go back to the "virtual cockpit" the engines sounds can now be heard even though the engines are indicating that they are off. For some reason going from the outside of the aircraft back to the inside is triggering the cockpit engine noise to become active. Can anyone help?James Castonguay

When I tune into the ATIS frequency, running AS2012 for weather, is the voice that I am hearing generated by PMDG or AS2012. I know it has to be one or the other because I have ATC defaulted off.Thanks

I configured the whole MCP and FMC and the APU is on. I started with the NGX Short Panel State. I can't seem to start the No.2 engine. I can start No.1, but never No.2. I turn the ignition start switch to the right, then I turn the right engine switch to GND or Ground, but the N2 gauge never rises. Packs are off. The engine 1 starts fine following those steps. Can someone please walk me through the steps or tell me what I am doing wrong.

I am trying to add Feelthere's Map and some changes on the forward view of the panel in the panel.cfg file.When I try to click Save, windows 7 forces me to save the file as another name.Is there something going on with this? Usually I click Save and the files saves without prompting me for a file name. Thanks much in advance.Teo

I was pulling my short hair out this morning with this one, here's what fixed it for me....Ye ole saved situation problem. Question: Is your NGX saved as part of your default flight that loads with FSX? Mine was. What fixed it for me: Open fsx, and select a DEFAULT aircraft and save to your default flight. Close FSX. You MAY still get the crash when closing FSX. Restart FSX. Load the flight with the default aircraft. Now try switching to NGX. I have not crashed again since doing this, but if they start to occur again, I'll let you know. Thanks for all the other suggestions this morning.

I posted a reply to another thread and thought it might be something that I could share.There is an issue that has been described as being annoying and I would not have discovered it unless I read a post by aceridgey in which he states that he could not silence the morse sound no matter what he did. It is a simple fix and the remedy is to make the right NAV radio silent by swithing to an unused frequency, that is the fix for the time being until it is fixed. I checked to see if both NAV radios (Right and LEFT) were tuned to the same ILS, and they were not. I then selected a freq. of 109.50 and switched it to the ACTIVE on the left NAV radio (Pedestal) and heard the mors…

when flying milaan (limc) to eindhoven (eheh) and i select runway 9 for landing or the atc whants me there i get a route overflying the airfield runway. and then on a complete turn to my 6 o clock , the autopilot cannot complete the turn in time and i overshoot the Vor loc and the auto pilot aproach. Can i not insert another waypoint manually in the fmc to make the aproach longer? because its impossible to do an autoland then , also sometimes atc gefuses me because the airfield is ifr only and i canceled my ifr route because it never puts me on the fmc route i planned. Should i divert or just stick with the atc,s instructions?
