Is their a way to update the fmc?

This maybe a dumb question, but when setting a "startup Panel State' in the cold and Dark configuration should I do this in the base aircraft. Then it will be the same for every livery, correct?, or if I save it in my SWA livery will that be carried over to all othe liveries of the same aircraft type?Thanks

Hi guys,I would like to display the gages on a seperate monitor(s) but I dont know what is available or how to do it,My goal is to only have the scenery on the main screen and have the inside of the cockpit on other screens (hope this makes sence) inside my pit. I know the HUD will be impossible to do but I can do without it until solution comes up.Can anyone point me in the right direction to get started?Thanks

Hi im having a slight problem entering the runway data for departure for manchester Airport, I enter EGCC as origin and try to enter 24R for the runway but it says that the data isn't in the database, how would I go about adding the runway for departure? I've tried 24R for runway 024 for the runway and just 24 but to no avail. Thanks

Hi Captains,When flying the NGX I noticed that de CRZ speed on the FMC is slow decreasing all the time. Does anybody know why? The only thing I can come up with (from my experience as a competitor in gliding contests) that the speeds for optimal performance are higher when a plane is more heavy. (That's why a glider takes water ballast on board as long as the thermals are strong enough to compensate for the extra weight). So I could imagine that, while the plane is loosing weight while burning fuel, the optimal CRZ speed (according to the Cost Index that is flown with) would accordingly drop.Any ideas?Best regards,Herman.

Hello - has anyone been able to get the CH Products pro throttle mini stick to work as a reverse thrust lever in the NGX? I am using FSUIPC ( w/ no problems) but I have not been able to get the mini stick to work as a reverse thrust lever. I was able to program my yoke throttle to the tiller and my mixture control to the spoilers but no luck w/ the mini stick. As it stands now when I pull back on the mini stick the reverse levers move a tiny bit and lock the throttle out (I can't physically advance the throttle till I lower the reverse levers with the mouse).I've looked at some tutorials and done some searching but I haven't found anything on the mini stick. Any help woul…

Help! when starting the APU the pressure gauge moves up, the low oil pressure lights up the needle goes all the way up and then decreases but instead of turning the APU lights on it reverts to original position and fault light appears.??? have no idea what I am doing wrong and have scrutinised the manuals but they dont (or I have not found it using the pdf search option) seem to show a step by step guide!assistance would be appreciated.thanksMel

Hi to all,I have had this problem at least twice before. I start a take-off run but there are no flight director bars. Both FDs are turned on and 'FD' is displayed on the PFD. As a result it is not possible to engage the autopilot.I reloaded FSX and set up another flight and the take bars were there. Is there something I am doing wrong or is another 'feature'.CheersKeith B.

Hello,On today's flight I noticed that once airborne, if you select AutoBrake to RTO the amber light won't illuminate. In a real life I use it to remind me fuel when I'm xfeeding. It 's just a bug? can it be fixed?Thank you

I have got a Problem with the Throttle of my 737NGX. When I switch off the Autothrottle on the Cruzing Altitute and pull the Throttle to the Ilde-Position, my FSX crashes.Does anybody have this Problem too?Kind Regards, Marc Seidenfaden

I'm trying to figure out how to take my .rte file in EFB and import it into the FMC co route in the PMDG 737-700. I've tried to save the .rte file, and import it using the CO route, but it doesn't load anything into the LEGS page. Am I missing something simple?

Hey, just want to say that as a real world 737-700 driver, you guys did an excellent job!!! The one thing I do have a question about is the type of descent programmed into the FMC for VNAV descents. My company uses idle thrust descent profiles and it appears this sim uses constant path geometry profiles. Is there a way to trigger/program Idle Thrust Descents or is the FMC hard coded for just constant path descents?Thanks.

Hi, I've recently purchased some scenery for Hong Kong Kai Tak and as the airport was not in the database I received some files from a friend. I've checked and edited the position in the .cfg files but when I load VHHX in the POS INIT page of the FMC it displays a wrong position which was included as a part of the file when I got it. The result is that the aircraft thinks the airport is 10nm to the west of it's actual position and I'm beginning to believe that it's impossible to edit the position of an airport. Thanks for any responses :)

Hello, I have found how to add VHHX to the NavData, but I am lacking SIDS/STARS for the airport. Is there a download to install these, or can you add SIDS/STARS manually? I have tried all links but none of them work. Thanks
