Hello guys, just bought the pmdg 737 and i'm having some problems here.I used to fly with default planes, on them i just needed to adjust the autopilot and engage, that the bird could fly by himself (i didn't need to worry about nothing, just on approach and landind i deactivated the autopilot and start the approach manually, it's good because i could see the view from the sky).is that possible on the pmdg plane? if the answer is yes, how can i do this? because i engage the everything (altitude hold, speed hold, vnav, lnav) and nothing happens, i still on control of the plane.the second question is:Can i put the route generated by the fsx on the fmc?thanks guys, that's al…

Hi:Can someone please explain the correct procedure for using TOGA buttons.Take off - FD on, AT on, 40% N1 stabilize then push TOGA for take off roll - pretty straight forewordWhat about using TOGA for go around? Does the AP, AT FD need to be on? Will TOGA work on full manual land (AT and AP off, but FD on)?I read (somewhere) that one push gives you reduced take off speed, then another push gives you full speed - not sure if this is right.I can't seem to find anything definitive on the correct procedure.Help appreciated, Thank you, Iain

Hey fallows,for those of you who use the saitek rudder pedals, how do you recommend to set the sensitivity, i have just gotten it, and it's pretty amazing, but i don't know how to set the sensitivity, saitek recommended to set it about 80% but i think it's to much i mean it's to sensitive. thanks!

Dear Avsim support Im have some problems getting the apu running on cold and dark in my Pmdg 737ngx when I selected cold and dark in the FMC everything completely shuts down I ran through the checklist carefully I started the battery switch first then the standby switch on auto I have electrical power but when I start the Apu switch it doesnt start it gets stuck on 0 and it wont run at all but when I selected Short or long ngx on my FMC I have full electrical power and the Apu is running fully all the way until the Apu GEN turns blue but once it turns Blue I flip the switch nothing happens at all i kept click on the Apu Gens and Its still blue and my Apu wont Bleed also w…

What is most common in real life aviation. During final approach ("minimums") when aligning with the center line. Minor banking or tiny rudder adjustment? Or a combination? It seems like rudder adjustment is not that effective as banking. geir75

Hi,I have no idea why sometimes out of the blue like today flying from PHNL Hawaii to SFO I just get this massive performance hit in the NGX. It normally average 18fps under the most dire of circumstances and today leaving PHNL FSDT I am getting 8 and then on the way into SFO I am getting 8. This happens untill I go cold and dark and then I am back up to 18. But wait there's more! When I fire up the aircraft and everything I am still getting 18 and can now taxi around SFO at 18 with all the same circumstances as before. Do different airlines adopt different take off procedures? In PMDG's tutorial 1, Ryan instructed to turn on both vnav, rnav and one CMD prior to the take off roll. Is that the real procedure in all airlines, or some airlines use to turn the CMD on only at some high?

Gentlemen,On occassion I get the following message on the FMC scratch pad "TAI on above 10 degrees" . What does this mean? I can notice no change in the handlingof the aircraft.I also began getting a constant beeping throughout the flight. There are no messages on the FMC, and no warning messages, I checked that gear is up,flaps up, etc. and can find nothing out of order, just the constant BEEP, BEEP ETC.Thanks.Stanner

Hi Captains,Today I made the ILS 25 approach on ENBO (STAR: STM1M Transition: FSK).The localizer has a slight offset to the left of the runway due to some hills in front of the runway. The ILS course was 264 degrees and I imagine that this is the value including the offset. But although both localizer and glide slope were indicated on the PFD, I couldn't establish on the localizer nor catch the glide slope. They were both annunciated as next mode (so in white), but that's were it stopped.On the ILS chart the course was 268, but I thought that the FSX info was just outdated and therefor I should use 264.Is there a reason why the AP won't engage in this situation? Hi guys can anyone help me please, I have ezdok and loaded the NGX views from AOA great, however when I cycle through them I get a 2 D panel view of the forward panel which is a real pain i hate 2D anyway, anyone have a fix or explanation, also when I view outside of the NGX and want to use my hat switch to move my view it moves albeit so slowly and I don't know why it's happening, Thirdly how do i incorporate a fly by view of the ngx into my camera set? Hi,I purchased the 737ngx about a week ago and fly on VATSIM a lot. I use squawkbox 4 and when I change the transponder mode to squawk normal in the pmdg, it doesn't change sqawkbox to normal.I've had the pmdg 744x for almost a month and do not experience this problem when I squawk normal from the plane's transponder. Hi all. Question regarding entering winds on the legs/rte data page. Do you enter the wind dir/speed as seen on the ND or from the IRS display panel – as they differ which is the more accurate data to enter on this page?Or shouldnt you need to as this info from IRS is already used by the FMC for calculations?

So I'm having (or had) this problem where as I am taking off, at about 50 ft or so, the plane suddenly banks sharp left, and I have to turn the yoke to the right to make it not bank further. This happend twice in a row, but only one time at each take-off, and did not occur later on in the flights. The yoke is not "Locked" or stuck in the left position, but only a little "bump", like a strong gust from the right. A friend of mine had the exact same problem an hour before on his computer. I do not know if this have been discussed before, but i searched the forum, but could not find anything. Does anyone know what might do this? Active sky maybe?

I have read a lot of posts on the forums on how to silence the NAV Radios Morse identifier and I have followed all the indications (such as removing the assigned key on FSX Control list to avoid Identifier activation in case the same key was assigned to a different function from a different addon............silencing from the aircraft radio panel .......and so on....), but so far I still have the identifier beeping any time a tuned radio is in range.Not an NGX issue at all as it happens on all aircrafts, but since I fly most often with the NGX I would like to know if someone can give me a good suggestion about how to silence it, at least on the NGX.Thanks..Regards

I have noticed recently that sometimes when I go onto wing view (I have ezdok camera) sometimes I get bad stuttering, goes a bti slideshowy, yet I have 50fps. It's strange, it will do it say on the right wing, but not the left, then it will go away, and then come again. It generally lasts no longer than a minute-three minutes when it happens, but it's a little annoying.Any idvice on what might be the problem? I have a good computer and get good fps.Kind Regards,Dan
