I forgot how to Change the Height on the 2D Panel so that you are looking higher, rather and looking down towards the ground.I remember looking at the panel folder, but forgot how to do it.Peter Smeal

Hello guys, Im considering to buy Radar Contact 4 and i ran into something. My concern is simply as the title indicates. I was reading the RC manual and it was describing how to load a premade flightplan into RC. I might be just dumb or not patient enough to take my time and read the manual properly, but how would RC work with the ngx if you make the flightplan via the FMC? Thanks for your time! - Arthur

Hello guys ,I have a strange problem.With the latest update 1c and before the problem occurs,After I take off using v/s climb I select vnav and lnav but plane speed stays 180knots and and cannot climb.I have registered fsuipc and licensed ase and ase 2012(both of ase and ase 2012 in dwc mode).When I clear weather in fsuipc ,plane gain speed and climbing very well.Is there anybody with same problem here ? Or do you know the resolution ?(Sorry for my english)

I like to play with ATC guiding me, i think it makes the game more real. PMDG is so real when the subject is fuel, im tryin to make a long journey with the 737-800 (4000 nm to be more specific) and as everybody know, the 737 can't cary the amount of fuel necessary to make the trip directly.is it possible to make a refueling stop with atc guiding me and after the refuel I take off again and go to my destination (with the atc giving instructions all time)?

Please refer to the NGX screen shot below:Notice the "black diamond cross-hatching" effect on the VC Captain's panel view when zoomed in at night. Is this normal, or do I have a video card problem? Attempting to troubleshoot some video issues with my NVIDIA GTX 460 card (yeah, it's getting old :(). I adjusted the setting per the recommendations from Ryan's post in the PMDG General Discussion forum. However, I'm still seeing this effect. Can't complain about the frame rates, though. 40+. With SP1C, I see that a new feature is "SDK behavior related to accelerated knob/switch movements." Is it possible to relate this to the BARO Minimums knob? I won't go into a long discussion of this, because I know it has been discussed before, and a lot of us want this feature. In short, is this possible, and if so, how?

My strange event of the day: When I set load a flight, cold and dark, and I turn on the battery switch, everything lights up as it should. BUT if I set up the flight cold and dark, then slew it to a different place on the airport, and THEN switch on the battery, I get a loud warning horn that I can't silence. (Happens whether ground power is connected or not.) Any ideas?Also -- I'm not sure if this is new with service pack C or not -- when the plane is cold and dark, the master caution and fire warning lights are on. Why should that be, on a plane with no power?Tom Kent

Gents,I will submit a PMDG ticket of course but I wanted to run this by the board just in case we had someone aboard that can help me out. After uninstalling all of my liveries and installing SP1c I am unable to get any of my NGXs to respond to throttle movement. Once engines are running and stable I move my CH Products yoke-mounted throttle and verify that my VC throttles are advancing...but no spool up. Can anyone please help me with this strange issue?RegardsDan F

When I start taxing and touch the brakes the aircraft needs in excess of 40% of thrust to keep taxing when the brakes are released. If I use the parking brake and release it I have no problem,it seems that the brakes are binding although they are fully released ,help...

Hi,It took me a while to understand why ATC always directed my NGX to a remote parking place while my airine should have its assigned places at a specific airport.Well, the answer is simple; because the airline code is not in the aircraft.cfg file in the PMDG 737XXX directory.After the livery manager has installed your livery, open the aircraft.cfg file in the specific 737-XXX file. You will see registration of the new livery with all its necessary information, but in that overview you will miss: atc_parking_codes=YYY, where YYY is the three digit code of your airline.If you add that to the listing and put in the airline code next time ATC will direct you to your assigned…

Hello all, Just yesterday I was flying the NGX absolutely fine -- today the NGX doesn't 'initialize' when I load her up. She only loads, and stays with black holes where gauges are suppose to reside. If you need a picture, I'll take one. I don't want to re-install ETC, I've had my fair share of those from the initial release, and I've probably used 90% of my activations due to the product glitching or whatnot. I really don't want to have to sit through a support ticket to get more activiations.Any input would be great, don't want to have to re-install the bird.

So with the release of the SDK, maybe we will soon see some interesting ADDONS for the 737NGX.It would seem the FS2CREW is just around the corner. What else ? IPAD Touch FMC ?I suspect it will not be long before we see a 2D Throttle Quadrant (for those that feel the need to have one).Hopefully, as new addons are deveoped, and brought to the 737NG pilots, an organized way can be established on this forum, to keep track of these addons, and provide a central resourse, where they can be found, and talked about, without posts about addons getting in one long and unholy unreadable mess, like some topics in the past..Exciting times .. wonder what the first addo…

HiI have the base pack of 737ngx and several addons which has not cause any problem until I installed sp1c :(The problem is that I gets a CTD when I am selecting any of your aircraft whether I select it from Free Flight or I have load a aircraft and then go to change aircraft. I have done this without success:Reinstalled the it from the begining, now I am trying with the base packedI cannot select your aircraft although I have not the sp1c installedMy setup are:FSX installed in a SSD not the same as windows 7 64 bitMy other addons are not the cause of the CTD because I have not had any problem with your aircraft until now!Does anyone had the same CTD after the installatio…

HelloWhen flying a VOR approach to a particular runway, after capturing the VOR radial (VOR/LOC mode active) and following the VNAV path, I engage APP mode on the MCP and the FMA shows FAC mode active on the PFD. What does FAC mode stand for and how does it manage my lateral navigation? My pitch mode also changes to GA when FAC is active. Is there a standard procedure to follow when conducting a non-precision approach?Thanks in advance for any suggestions.John

Hi! I was hoping if someone made a Sabena or Brussels Airlines livery for NGX. I know that these companies did not have 737 NG (at least Sabena), but since I'm flying with their VA, it would be great to have it. Cheers! Jakov

Many thanks for this outstanding tutorial, especially to Ryan!I started at about 12:42 in EHAM with AS2012 real Weather (raining) and got really challengin weather in LOWI later (clouds hangin in the mountains) and the wind was perfect for this tutorial from 090 at 5 knots for landing at RW 08!I recommend everybody to use this weather with AS2012 historical weather and try this flight (again)Great! Hallo friends, I have unistalled the NGX and then installed again using version with sp1 patch. I installed sp1b and then sp1c. I see the licencing exe running in my task but the plane didnt ask me this time for activation when i started fsx. Is this normal? If i install the ngx and then sp1c without first sp1b is this maybe the correct way? Thank you everybody in advance for the help.Paris stergidis

Will any new features be added in SP2? Specifically, I'm wondering about the CABIN ALTITUDE Light, manual gear deployment, and all the other little things that weren't modelled.

Hi guys, reading the last official posts about SP1c and SDK, i'd now the existance of the extended download service and the backup disks.Now, i've bought my NGX since the 1st month of its life, whit the lanch discount. My 6700 package it was bought on the launch day.After puchasing this fantastic products, i've saved the PMDG mails with the serials on my PC and i've stored my installer, with activation instructions mail, SP and liveries on a wonderful DVD with a salf made cover... For periodical formats or pc problems, i still have installed my packages for 3 tiimes.Does my serials have a limited amount of installs? Or i can be quiet to fly my NGX in the next years?
