Hello:Has anyone observed issues with the terrain mapping not displaying water in Cyan?I can only get this option to work in certain areas. The option is enabled in the FMC.As an example on a flight inbound to KCLE, Lake Erie did not display in cyan on the terrain map. When I load KSRQ or KLGA the water will display in cyan. Also I do not believe that rivers or lakes enroute are showing up either. On my last flight from KTYS to KMEM there were lakes and rivers that I could not see on the terrain map.ThanksDon

  7. Seems like a must-have add-on, but before I buy, I just have a couple of questions-If I start the flight on the runway, can I just go straight to the checklists without filling in flight information or programming the FMC etc.?Can I control the ATC in the voice version with my mic?EDIT:I bought three FS2Crew products before (From FSPilotshop) and I just noticed that previous FS2Crew owners can have a 5 euro discount. Can I still get this discount? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I have mentioned this before but now there is a picture that shows what I'm talking about.I thought that it may have got picked up and fixed in SP1c.On page 86 of the PMDG Tutorial 2 you can see the Heading Director cut off by the MCP near the bottom of the HGS. This is beacause the landing lights are on. As soon as you turn the lights off therest of the circle returns. Although this is a very cleaver piece of apperatus that PMDG have done for the NGX it lets it down a bit. Maybe I'm being picky but knowing how much effort PMDG have put intothis aircraft I'm sure they would want to get it right.

What is the flight plan extension for the 737NGX? Is it .rte .pln or .sfp?As I understand it, the flight plans are located in PMDG/FLIGHTPLANS/NGX.I have all 3 flight plan extensions. But when I place either of them in the folder, I get INVALID ENTRY in the FMC..Thanks!Mark

  15. This is strictly just a question asking if specific information is available, nothing more!If I step on any toes here it wasn't intended, just looking for some data.I'm trying to build a custom FSBuild profile for the -800 NGX.FSBuild comes with a performance profile for a default 737-800 w/ CFM56-7B26 engines, so I have a place to start...but I wanted to verify the data tables in this default profile with the data from the FCOMs which I thought had the performance data included in them.I've looked through FCOMv1, specifically the Performance Dispatch and Performance Inflight sections for the -800, but I'm not seeing the same type of data that the FSBuild data tables are …

  16. Hi to all.It would be nice to have an ACARS function that read the file from ASE or AS2012 named "current_wx_snapshot" like TOPCAT wich display´s the current airport weather reading from this file, and thus be able to see the current Metar from the CDU without using third programs.RegardsAlberto

I admit I could be doing something "wrong" but since the new service pack, after landing, the spoilers will not retract. They remain deployed.I have changed nothing to the way I fly, Autobrake set, spoilers armed, they work great on touch down, come out of reverse at 80-90kts, manual brake, turn off the active, throw the spoiler handle up (and it goes back down but refuses to un deploy). Also tried retracting the flaps and then throwing the handle up, again it moves back down again.Gimme the gears guys! But how can I fix this.

The area where you fill in ISA DEV in the INIT REF page of the FMC; according to the Tutottial #2 (I think) it is an average for the Cruise Portion of the flight, but isn't it only for the Top of Climb? It says T/C ISA DEV doesn't that mean its the Temp for the top of climb so the plane can better predict VNAV climb or is it for the cruise portion? Doesn't make sense if its for Cruise because it says "T/C ISA DEV."
