    I'm trying to find in the literature a figure that defines Boeing's term "icing conditions". One would assume this is near freezing temps with visible moisture; what is the actual TAT that indicates "icing conditions" according to Boeing?Secondly, knowing that TAT is used to figure out when to use anti-ice, that would mean higher speed is desirable when in known icing, correct?

    Hi guys,I'm currently on enroute with SWA131 from Orlando to Phoenix. Since the take off I had a very hard time with about 60 kts headwind and thus using more fuel than I thought of. That's why I did configure an step climb from FL380 up to FL400. The FMC showed me about 4% saving from this but instead of making the climb soon after I entered it into the system but rather 500NM later. I have now done that climb and it was the right decision: now I've an fair tailwind of about 10kts and saving some fuel.So my question now is: How does the plane know when to make that step climb?

  4. Hi:I've noticed that everytime I have the Terrain display enabled on the ND I will sooner or later get a CTOD, without it everything is fine. I have a i-7 950 with 12 gigs memory, 586 Invidia card, REX & ASE UTX enabled. Frame rates seem fine right up to the crash. Any ideas? Other than that I love the NGX.Lon Duncombe

    Hi guys,After installing sp1b awhile back and sp1c just today, my aircraft.cfg files are still showing "Current with Build: 1.00.3057". Is this normal? I ran the installer again and it said that it detected version 1.00.3219 but no change to the .cfg files.Thanks

    Hi fellow simmers!1st sorry for the spelling in the headline ;(So I've been flying in and out of Innsbruck and Salzburg these days. Both airports have requirements regarding climb gradients on departure and on missed approach procedures.My problems is, that I have not been able to figure out how and can calculate if I meet those requirements, based on weight, thrust, weather and so on?Looking through FCOM 1 I can only find climb gradients for Go-around with one engine INOP at flaps 15.   12. Hi to all guys, I'm using HIDMacros, a very useful tool, to assing key sequence in NGX to a 2nd keyboard, but I'm having many troubles with 737 NGX, while with others aircrafts works well. I'm using also EZCA, but I suppose this is not a problem.Seems like HIDMacros doesn't send (but most probably PMDG doesn't recognize) CTRL, SHIFT, ALT or sequnce of CTRL+ALT etc etc operator to 737 PMDG NGX, but only the single letter, e.g.:If I set in PMDG CDU: LANDING LIGHT with CTRL+L (as deafult) sequence and write in HIDmacros the sequence ^l (stand for CTRL+L) nothing happens, but if I set in PMDG: LANDING LIGHT with only L key and set in HID Macros the sequence l it works great, …

    I never had any problems with NGX since day one. However, since the installation of SP1c, a small thing has occurred when flying a flight plan.Having setup the FMC with a company route using Flight Sim Commander and the latest Navigraph data after take off, and the autopliot activated etc, the aircraft begins to fly an S pattern in heading toward a waypoint. After passing about 4 or 5 waypoints things straighten out. I am using Sids and Stars where possible but I can't imagine that would be a problem. Very strange.     After installing sp1c i had to reinstall my liveries but the panel config changed to other liveries. Example my air berlin panel config changed to my gol livery. I tried to reinstall the ngx but no it didnt fix it.And when configurating my panel on the fmc I saw that the registration number was incompatible with my livery.Exemple i was with a PR-GUF and the fmc said that I was with the PR-GIO.can someone help me .Thanks
