    Readiing the fuel planning section in Tutorial #2, the calculations do not seem to include a "minumum fuel after landing" requirement (amount left in the tanks=running on fumes). How's this requirement accounted for ? I thought the requirement for the 800-NGX WL was 3,000 lbs., is this correct ?Thanks,Zach

    I know this isn't really the place to ask this, but I uploaded a float-cam for EZDOK to AVSIM last night and it still hasn't appeared..I got the sucess email from library (at) avsim . com but it's still not there..Could anyone with experience of uploading tell me how long it might take?Thanks,bestjake

Hallo Leute,Hallo Guys,Again I made a repaint as requested to Mango airlines it's nice and it took a while till it's done.Some normal Picsand for the 3D pics u need to change ur monitor to 3D Side-by-Side and the pics need to be in 100% scale to enjoy it..I already uploaded the file on avsim library but i think it'll take some time i'll post the link here ASAPThanxOmar

    Does anyone know for sure what would be a normal CI for SAS on their 738's with winglets (like Freja Viking LN-RRH)?I know this has been discussed in several threads before and in one thread I read SAS uses a CI of 40-50 but that seemed a bit high to me after reading in another thread a normal CI value for NGs is between 10-30...

    Hi all,Anyone else have this issue?Since I've installed SP1C FSX has become unstable, it will just freeze in CRZ and I'll need to CTL ALT DEL to close the sim. I did a clean install of the NGX with SP1B and so far I dont have a freeze. However I have not tried SP1C without FS2Crew yet to check if the freeze is caused from this new addon. What I do know is I dont need to be doing anything with the aircraft to cause the freeze like entering stuff into the FMC, it will just freeze even when I'm away from the computer.thanksIM2

  7. Thanks Ryan for your challenging LOWI approach tutorial.My Questions:1. At page 0.00.118 "Select Runway 08" I am lost however. In the FMC LOWI ARRIVALS page I select RW 08, so far so good. On the left side there are only Stars however. I don't get the 'Select LSK 3L to copy RW08 and then press LSK 1L to enter a direct to'. I must do something wrong.2. I could make several good landings and go arounds when leaving the RW026 setup in the FMC. The route to the holding pattern at RTTNB is clearly shown in blue on the ND.     Hello captains,I've been having the NGX for a long time now. I've flown to pretty much every city in Europe (the bigger cities), but also smaller airports. So I got to the US, flown to big cities like LA, SF, NY, Boston, Las Vegas, San Diego, Seattle, Boston, Miami, Denver. So I'm now out of ideas again. How do you guys pick the destination to fly to? I just pick a city I know for example. Isn't there some kind of map somewhere on the net, with all the airports on it, so I can pick one?

  9. HelloI have a small issue with the NGX post SP1C update. Before I take off I arm LNAV and VNAV per procedure and when i apply take off thrust through the autothrottles VNAV disengages just after take off. When i apply the autopilot it automatically reverts to LVL CHG mode during the climb. However I can then reapply VNAV and it works fine. Prior to the service pack i could keep VNAV active throughout the take off with no problems. The plane still handles beautifully and all other systems are working as advertised. I'm just wondering if there is something i'm not doing properly that is causing the VNAV to turn off after take off? Its not a huge issue but it would be nice t…

    First, unrelated to my question: Ryan, awesome tutorial. I'll admit to not being a guy who does LOWI very often, but a great tutorial with a few tricks that I didn't know.So, here's a question I had (spurred by the fix work done in the tutorial): is thre a way to program a specific vector/heading into the FMC and have the A/P follow it in LNAV mode? For example, say you're on a STAR and you need to be vectored to the IAP. ATC says: "After [FIX], fly heading XXX." Now, of course you can just put the heading in the window and hit heading select when you get to FIX, but it dawns on me there has to be a way to draw a line on a heading that the LNAV will follow.Thoughts?     Hello,i have a question about the NGX with EZDOK, how can i eble that i'll can go backwards, forwards, up and down from my chair with the key on the keboard, i mean like pushing enter and+shift i go up, but with EZDOG it doesn't let me i'm not sure why, because EZDOG is too high.also when i'm moving to the sides it's moving bizardly, how can i set it that i'll move like the default one? because i really enjoy the landing and takeoff effect.thanks very much.!

I have been experiencing an FSX crash upon exiting flights in the -700NGX, which is the variant I fly (soon more of the -800, as WN is getting ready to receive their first -800 :)!). Yesterday, I deleted all liveries, rebooted, uninstalled the 800/900 & 600/700 SP1b versions, rebooted, reinstalled the original 800/900, the 800/900 SP1c, the original 600/700, the 600/700 SP1c, rebooted, all liveries, and did a test flight from KBUR-KLAS.     I really love the vapor effects coming off the wings at certain times, they look great. But they seem a little too far out, coming from the wrong place. Looking at 737 pics it almost seems like they usually form on this aircraft type, right at the outboard tip of the flaps.     Please be kind to me guys, I know I should know the answer to this, but the NGX is still a new experience for me. I am very puzzled regarding the top speed of the NGX, which I understand is about 520kts, far in excess of what my NGX ever reaches. AP running with VNAV, LNAV and AT set. all the relevent info inputted into the FMC (I suspect this is my trouble) The plane never exceeds 320kts under the AT control. however, if I try to fly the plane manually with manual throttle, the plane cries out warnings if I try to fly beyond 320kts ??? I am very confused and would really appreciate someone to clarify this for me. Thanks fellas...

    Just this weekend I installed the SP1c for NGX as well as the new FS2Crew for NGX. Roughly 1/2 of my flights end up with EZDOK 'hanging' to the point where I have to kill it in Task Manager so I can finish my flight. I am posting this in here as well as EZCA and FS2Crew forums. Just curious if anyone else has had a similar experience.

  18. Hello fellow members:I am having a repeatable problem when performing an ILS approach to Burbank airport (KBUR) to ILS RWY 8. I use the same autoland procedures as found in tutorial #1 (the NGX performs flawlessly when performing the autoland to Schiphol). The localizer and glide slope are captured, and the aircraft makes a perfect decsent like in tutorial #1 to Amsterdam. However, when the aircraft is about 200' on the approach, the aicraft vears to the left and the autopilot cuts off automatically.     I am unable to save my configurations globally. Everytime I open any livery besides the house color I have to open the CDU and set the ISFD and HGS. I start CLD and DRK as my default so I have to open the CDU each time as well. ANy suggestions on how to save these settings globally?Thanks

    Hi,bought yesterday FS2Crew for NGX and made a couple of flights with the voice control version....and ...it is very good indeeed..! I was very familiar with the PMDG 747 and with IFly 737 version, so the use and flows were very straightforward. It's a great piece of add on for this fantastic aircraft....just a couple of minor bugs but I am not sure if they are software bugs or if it they were due to my faults, so before posting them I need to make some other flights. However, overall it works wonderfully well and it further raises the realism level of NGX. Thank you FS2Crew and PMDG for this great combination....!Regards
