When i want to start, APU or engines while all fuel pomps off position, thats OK! No any problem. APU or engines are starting very well. I just wondered that, is this normal?And on the other hand, two engines are starting at the same time. Is this normal situation according to the Boeing 737 start up procedures?Best regards...Serhan Onur

hi everyone, i have installed a livery (jetairfly) of the pmdg 737-800, but it has something wrong with his spoilers.normaly when the spoilers are opened, they aren't standing in the same angle.but in my livery the spoilers are all standing in the same angle.i don't have this problem in my basic 737-800 pmdg livery.is there someone who can help me?mrscott

Hey all,So I've noticed since Sp1C that the sound of the NGX goes low every now and then. I wasn't sure what was causing it so I decided to load up a test flight just now to see if I could figure out the problem. So I had no addons running except the NGX. Everything was going fine and the sound was not dropping so I thought maybe the problem had gone away. So then I load up the default ATC to check the weather and as the ATIS starts to play the sound in the NGX drops like before, stays like this for a minute or so then goes back up to normal.When on the ground I contacted ground control and again the sound dipped.Usually I don't use default ATC, I use RC4 and also I use f…

Hello,so i bought my new machine, as on my signuature, and bought the saitek pro youke and rudder pedals, but i have a problem with fsx.i have a liegal copy with the key registration and it did say that it was correct, but for some reason when i am playing no matter which plane or where, it quit to the desktop every 30 seconds or so, and i need to comeback to the game via the task manager. did someone hear of this kind of problem?even when i am writing i need to to click the mouse on the page to write again. it's very frustrating, i really cant enjoy my new machine.thanks a lot in advance.BTW i asked a technical store on the phone, but if i can fix that right new it's bet…

Hey Pilots,since i use GSX (i guess) i cant save the state of my ngx...everytime i save the flight in FSX and load it again for a new flight , i dont have the panel state i had when i saved the flight...maybe the problem caused by GSX? really annoying cause i have to set the aircraft config everytime again.. somebody the same problem?solutions? cheers

The Primary Flight Display is not centered in the HUD. It is in the lower right hand corner of the HUD and I can not see portions of it. Can someone offer a solution to this problem? Thanks.

Has anyone any hints/experiences to help me here? I thought to build up the difficulty level by trying to use FSX's ATC, instead of going at it alone as in the Tutorial #1 flight. Apart from the learning effects, I also want this to avoid running into AI aircraft at landing.So, first thing I noticed is that the Flight Plan is mostly ignored with respect to wanted landing runway, but I guess that is unavoidable, since I now surrender myself to the ATC's choices. I'm interested in finding out who out there has access real-world checklists for the B737NG.The one included in the PMDG manuals is indeed the checklist Boeing suggests and is used by many airlines. Some airlines seem to modify it, sometimes heavily, for their SOPs (e.g. WestJet).I'd like to get my hands on real checklists, and if not, perhaps someone can provide a list of airlines that use the standard checklist. Greetings,I just spoke with a friend of mine who's a Lead Mechanic for Delta in ATL. He told me that the news media was totally incorrect in saying the "brakes failed" on the airplane. What really happened was that the parking brake was set and the throttles were advanced to full power. (Apparently, the aircraft was in maintenance for a scheduled fan lube. The work was completed and the aircraft taxiied out to the run-up pad for leak-check, etc). Once the maintenance tech(s) noticed they were moving, they retarded the throttles to idle. With both engine bleeds on, there is only pressure in the R duct. The L duct is indicating near zero. Both packs were operating, and cycling the isolation valve and packs had no effect on the pressure. Cabin is pressurizing fine.So, what happened to the bleed air?

Hi All,I know that we have Landing minima for Landings in low Visibility and all landings, but what about takeoff minima?? What makes a flight be cancelled due to low visibility? What is the minimum visibility a 737-800 can takeoff in?Just had a flick through the FCTM but couldn't find much about it... This problem just started after I installed the service pack. On the last 2 flights when landing I get no call outs for altitude. I checked settings in fmc and all callouts are set correctly. Take off is ok I still get v speed callouts. Tom

So I'm a fan of American Airlines, and I know American doesn't actually fly these models of the NG family, but I think they'd look great with winglets in the AA livery! I have no skills in terms of the photoshop and making the great liveries you all have made. For some reason I have problems when I use my Go Flight throttles with the NGX. My Saitek throttles work fine. Am going to buy FSUIPC tomorrow and am wondering if anyone has successfully used the Go Flight throttles with the FSX? If so are there any special setting that you use in FSUIPC? I would also like to be able to programme the spoiler and flap levers. Thanks in anticipation

Hi all.Is it me or has the lighting changed since SP1C for the Nav/Comm radio's. Mine now appear 'red' instead of 'white' since installing SP1C. The same goes for the flt alt/landing alt window on the overhead. I've checked the FMC options and I can't see anything there.Screenshot Attached.Any Ideas???MTIA, Martin.

GuysI have searched but cannot find it.How do I get to a panel state of cold and dark automatically when I start from 'Fly Now' in FSX.SoI have my 737 and my departure airport but I want to come into a cold and dark machine and not need to go to the FMC and load it from there.The other question isIf I have a cold and dark machine and it is dark, like night time how can I see the switches to start off with?Thx Ian
