Hey guys,I would like to set the option random failures on ALL of my aircrafts to 2 events every 10 hours.Do I have to load them all seperately and select this? Or is there a more comfortable way to do this?Second question: After I selected the random failures and close fsx, will this option still ON next time I load the aircraft?Thanks in advance for some solutions. :(

Hi - I just installed FSX and NGX on a new computer (windows 7 64 bit) and am also running AS2012 and UT2. I am having a strange issue where I will start a flight everything is fine but then when it comes time to land, all of the buildings (regardless of the airport) have disappeared. Also the only thing I see on the traffic are the lights (no airframe). Also I am noticing that the circuit breaker panels become transparent in the VC view and I can see through them to the wing. Again this is only at the end of the flight - In the beginning everything is completely normal. Has anyone else had this issue?Thanks for the help!Chris

When the autopilot follows the route every so often happens that the plane in the proximity of the VOR makes a few small deflection to the right and left!!!This is normal?

Can't find reference to this in the manuals. If you leave the seatbelt sign in "auto", how does that work? If it is intended that the crew don't operate that switch, how does the system know when to illuminate the sign?Iain Smith

Hello captains!I'm gonna upgrade my RAM very shortly because my current RAM is quite slow. Yes, faster RAM will not give me better FPS, but I'm having little stutters all the time. And I read that RAM with tight timings will reduce stutters and give a more fluid motion. (Please don't say I"m wrong if you haven't tested it yourself, other people have tested it and got these results). Unfortunately the 8GB kits with CL7 or CL6 are all out of stock everywhere in the world, even on Newegg... So I found these RAMs, with very tight timings, 6-8-6-24 from G.Skill. But I was wondering if 4GB would be enough for the NGX, because it's a really heavy add-on. Anyone else using 4GB…

Hello, I recently re-installed the NGX on my system and I am noticing certain sounds are not playing. (AP Discon / GPWS / Trim / etc.) I have verified the correct sound driver is selected in FSX sound options, but in the PMDG sound driver selector in the FMC, it is blank and I am unable to select or cycle through anything.I did notice the Direct X installation fail when installing the NGX, I re ran the .exe and chose repair and that didn't seem to do anything.Any ideas?Angelo Cosma

I flew the Skyline 7 departure today out of Oakland and noticed a discrepency between the published vor radial intercepts and the actual ones in the sim.To elaborate:In this departure, you leave runway 29 in Oakland, fly runway heading and then start a gradual turn to the left, intercepting the 135 radial off of the PYE VOR. You fly that radial until you intercept the Woodside 180 radial which is the PESCA interchange then turn left to join the 116 radial out of Woodside which you can take as far as Avenal VOR.Here's the problem, in the sim, the 135 radial does not align with the fms waypoints like PORTE - or the intersection with OSI. Hi,Today I bought the expansion pack for the NGX 800/900 to add the 600/700 models. I downloaded it and ran the instillation by the books. However; the installation quickly informs me that the location of fsx.exe is unable to be found and therefore cannot install. I understand what this is saying and I have double checked the directory 1 million times. The NGX 800/900 installs no worries with SP1c. I have used the FSX registry tool from flight one and that is no help. I have used all available resources and there just are no answers... please help ! Hello, Hope this passes Mods. This was posted in more detail at Navigraph. I have Barcelona airport charts which show RW25R as having an ILS 109.5. Did a flight last night and on entering Init page there was no ILS/Course displayed. I abandoned flight but later thought that if I had continued flight and entered the ILS frequency into radios would I still have managed an ILS landing. I know that trying it would give me an answer but I thought the easy route would be if some person knew the answer in advance. Many thanks. richard welsh.

Hi,I just flew into LOWI and this is what my ND looked like. Needless to say, I'd be dead if that was right ;)Also, it seems strange to me that both FMC's have to be working to get TERR data on any ND. I would have thought one FMC would be enough to generate that data (not sure about the NG, but there are classics that only have a single FMC with two CDUs)ThanksMark
