Hello Captains,I have had the pleasure of owning the NGX 800/900 since launch and I have really enjoyed getting to grips with Tutorials 1 + 2 however my experience has never gone beyond this point therefore I have some questions.Firstly how far along is the AOA media training, a while ago it did not look to promising however the site has undergone a lot of refurbishment and a new preview has been put up. How what units in each section have been covered?Other than AOA what other training and reading material is availible for general skills related to the NGX? ie navigation tipsWhat software should I get? TOPCAT? REX or ASE2012? Other IPad Apps? FS2Crew? Thanks

I can not get the jetways to work. They worked before when I pushed Ctrl/J before but not now what can I do to get it back .Thanks

Hello Captains:I have been having a devil of a time performing the loop 6 departure out of LAX. A bit of background first. I have had no issues with the departure using the PMDG 747X. I am finding out that the 737 is quite a different animal in the way the autopilot works--due to my lack of training on the 737. (I am so immersed with the 747 procedures that I find myself having to undo what I learned). I have completed tutorials one and two without trouble, but those SIDs are not complicated and there is no "vectoring" involved.For example, in the 747, I perform a manual takeoff. When I reach 400 feet, I click on HDG SEL and HOLD, which keeps the aircraft flying on the ru…

hello to alli'm trying to set the Missed approach altitude on VNAV approachin the FCTM , they say that we must set it 300ft below the missed appraoch altitude to avoid level-offbut 300feet below this altitude i will be already land // or i would already execute a missed approach // page 231for exemple i make a flt today at LIL/LFQQ , VOR appraoch RW08 , MDA is 353 feet i didnt have the time to set the missed approach altitude cause i've to landis there not an other solution to set this altitude?tks a lotcyril

Hello,I've read somewhere that a good airmanship is that during takeoff the SIDs to be flown by hand and AP to be angaged at the end of the procedure. My question is how can a SID be flown precisely by hand considering the height and speed restrictions, plus the continious heading changes on the same time?Does that applies to STARs too?

Hi,since a few days I got a wired issue. At some point in time, but very frequently, my Ezdoc disables by itself. I then have to global enable again. It happens mostly when on ground. Not sure if this is related to SP1c but before I didn't have the problem. I also did not change any of my keyboard commands. Any advise?Thanks,Nic

Hello I haven't got 737ngx, however considering to buy in the future. I've seen in some forums that PMDG plans to removing 2d panels. Is that true ? Will you remove 2d panels ? Cheers.

Hi All ,This may have been covered in otehr posts , but have the NGX but can't hear the engine sounds whilst in the cockpit .. would love to hear them on the takeoff roll etc , but find i can only hear them when it an external view ..Have the FSX sound settings at 50% each and the FMC sound setting at 100 but still can't hear them when in cockpit viewAny ideas as it is very frustrating and hopefully very easy to fixRegardsAndrew Norris

Hello gents!Im having nightmares with this issue.The only thing that keeps me hooked for now is tutorial1 but after practically 10 attempts I cant finish them because nearly close to redfa when I start to configure for the descent it always crash.sometimes after redfa sometimes before redfa.....and once I could nearly watch EHAM runway lights......but thats all.I know that I need to start the painful job to adress all of my system info and so on.......but anyone here having the same issues?thanks in advance!

I usually change the default view(move the view to the right,for it to be more natrual and correct) when I start a flight.But when I cycle other panels or outside views and comes back into VC, the view is reset.I can't really describe with words how annoying that is...Is it possible, and if so where and what in the panel.cfg do I change the default view in VC?

I have the PFC 737NG throttle quadrant. I have been able to get spoilers, throttles, reversers and geart to work well. However, I can not get the flap lever settings to work with the NGX. I know another member here gave me some help with the spoiler lever, which works great not. Now I am wondering if someone can give me some assistance with the flap configuration in the FSUIPC.ini file?Any help greatly appreciated.Joe
