Hi everyone!Yesterday I was flying from Winnipeg to Calgary on a Westjet B737-800. I don't know why the engine sound drowned and came back up again over and over again...I tried to see if in this forum there was a similar thing and I didn't see any responses to this problem.Apart from that, I had a wonderful flight with real weather -lots of thunderstorms in the praries...Thanks for the help!P.S.: It's the first time I have this problem since I bought the NGX...

Yesterday I accidentally changed the time of windows. When I went back to FSX, everything became extremely crazy. The aircraft got overspeed with stall warning and spin with no chance to recover. I know no one will do this stupid thing but I just feel this incredible. :(

Hi from Berlin/Germany.Western Australia, a cloudy morning.QFA flight 2403 from YPKG to YPPH is enroute from it's departure airport "Kalgoorlie-Boulder" and will approach the first waypoint KELLA soon.Kelly has been selected "Direct" in the FMS, as there is no SID available.While flying I noticed, that the aircraft was slightly drifting to the right, leaving the 2miles corridor of the expected and shown route.Within 20 miles of KELLA a steep left turn with a bank angle of 30° (even when 25° has been selected on the MCP) woke up the sleeping cockpit crew immediately.Then another 30° turn to the right followed immediately.From that nice event on, the aircraft followed the s…

Is it possible for the NGX to properly initialise without using the "Trike overhead Friday Harbor" default flight? When FSX finishes loading the aircraft jumps forward a few feet and the engines run for a split second before they shut down. I tried a while ago with the "Default C172 parked, cold and dark" default flight but the throttles didn't work on the NGX. I'm just wondering if had been fixed or if there's a workaround.Any help would be appreciated.

I had to reinstall FSX this week and starting up the trusty NGX found myself once again getting freezes and images falling apart when opening up menu items from the "alt" menus and then returning to the sim.Ryan sent me a file or module or .dll (I don't remember) that helped with this issue which if I remember correctly is related to my 64 bit operating system. Dear PMDG,When flying to some airfields with Baro minimum at around 3000ft or even more, it take ages to setup this value with the actual minimum knob.In the real 737 if you hold the knob it start to increase very fast the value but not in your product.I also use the Baro minimum for takeoff to setup the EO Accel Alt which helps when not permorming an VNAV takeoff, wich means that twice per each flight I'm loosing lots of time setting the minimum.Could you please fix this?Thanks.

Ever since I made a new start up panel state a few days ago, when ever I load the NGX it spins and does loops and jumps up on the air and flight sim says I crashed. I have tried remaking the panel state and the same thing happens, it does it on both the 6 & 7 havnt tried the 8 & 9 yet. It also does it if I load a different panel state on start up them switch to it. Any help is greatly appreciated!Cheers,

HiFor many years I have been playing around with the external zoom in FSX (i.e. looking out of the flightdeck window at the scenery), and now don't know what the correct zoom level should be for a realistic view from the NGX. I currently have it set to 0.60 which seems reasonable but not having sat in a real 737-800 cockpit seat it could be wrong.Can anyone offer some advice please as to what is the most realistic zoom level and will this apply to all aircraft within FSX.Thanks, Glen

First of all I must say that I still really do not understand what somethings mean, I just bumbled along trying this and that until suddenly I find I have done something correctly at least something that seems to work.I have also tried it in flight with the PMDG 737NGX and it works beautifully and does not interfer with the auto throttle in anyway. Hi,When using the NGX with either default FSX online weather or an external program such as AS2012 or such, I'm finding that all weather depiction in FSX has trouble interpolating temperatures aloft; at least on my setup. For example, in between the normal published reporting levels, the temperatures aloft in FSX tend to stay at the temperature of the current or lower reporting level for too long before transitioning to the temperature at the next reporting level. There isn't simply isn't enough interpolation between the weather reporting levels for a realistic, smooth temperature change as the aircraft is climbed into the higher flight levels. Hey Guys,I am pretty confused about when to set flaps and gear on looooooong straight in, constant descent approaches such as the ILS to 07R at KPHX from the FFIXA waypoint. I encountered a similar situation yesterday at KLAS. According to the manual you are supposed to lower flaps 5 when you are on the intercept heading for the final approach course. If I did that in this approach, that would be quite a ways out. Then, according to the manual, you should extend the gear and flaps 15 when the glide slope becomes active, and then landing flaps when you are established on glide slope. Hey guys I am having a problem in which when I put fsx into windowed mode and then back to full screen the screen goes black and I have to exit out the game.However when I exit out and try to re-load fsx it says fsx is still running, but it doesn't show as running in the Task Manager.It doesn't do it with other aircraft only the NGX.It seems to have started doing it since there was an update for GSX, and also I installed the NGX 737-800 texture enhancement pack which I am about to remove to see if that is causing the problem.Any ideas why it could be doing it guys?TIA,Dan

Sorry If this has been previously brought up, I searched hard but couldnt find a solution.On all models with new paints installed (Default PMDG Paint works fine) The fan blades arent missing in the engine they just dont move, and Its almost like you can look straight through the engine.Also On all models with new paints installed (Default PMDG paints work fine). The beacon light on top and bottom stays lit regardless of switch position. Even before loading the plane in the FSX opening menu(where the plane is like floating doing 360's just after you select it) You can clearly see the lights on.Planes I have tried all downloaded from PMDG and installed using Repaint Manager…

I had to reinstall my NGX this week and am now encountering the "fatal flaw" error message both on exiting the program, and if I try to re-load a flight I've started.This doesn't happen with the NGX when I've installed the base plane, or the 1b patch. But it happens every time with the 1c patch.I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times, always making sure to install as administrator.Any thoughts?Colin Ware

hello mate, first of all congratulations for your incredible work. i would like to add the igs app. for rwy 25 at LSGS (sion) in the airac, but i don´t know how to add it, can you dedicate some of your time to do that. Guys, I have two questions and wonder if you could help?1. Last night I was in final approach at EHAM on Autoland and decided to disconnect AP and fly manually. When I disconnect AP do I also have to disconnect autothrottle?2. Could somebody guide me where I can learn more about flaps extension schedule? At flaps 15 I always get a warning tone probably because my speed is still to high. I dont really know when I do have to extend each flap position.Many thanks!Nic
