should i turn while on cruize (when the temperature is lower)? or there's an specific temperature for turning it on?

Prior to all the spate of recent SPs,etc, whenever I hovered above the Trim Wheel, it gave me a boxed value of what the trim setting was and when I adjusted the Trim Wheel as per the FMC values, I could see the adjusted values in the box that appeared above the Trim Wheel. Can no longer see it now. Does anyone know how to get it back?Thanks

Since ,I have had the tutorial #2 flights added to my saved flights It has slowed down my loading speed to a point where it takes forever to load, such as the INNSBRK approach, I know this is not a problem with the program or pmdg, Its a matter of proccesing speed, however I think my best chance for some help would be with you guys . Is there something I can do to speed up the the loading of the scenery other than deleting 90% of my saved flights ? I have a dual core e8400 w/ 8gbof ram, and no add on scenery, I'm not very good w/ computers,so if you try and explain it to me you'll have to go step by step, Thank's for any help. Ive just noticed after looking at everyone elses screenies that my VC textures are slightly blurry, not horribly so, but they just aren't pin sharp like most peoples, im using a 2GB 6970 and runnign eyefinity.Does anyone else have this problem?

during flight i had to perform a emergency descent, to avoid coallision with other aircraft. AP switched off.after establishing normal flight level, i wanted to connect with cmd a again, but i could only connect with cmd b to fly with autopilot.Is this explained somewhere in the manual, i couldn't find it.Ton van Dongen

The only way for me to set damage and collision settings in fsx checked in, is by setting airport traffic settings to zero.No matter how i look around before pushback, the moment i start there is always some stupid bus or fuell truck driver, bumping in to me!Question: Has radarcontact or voxatc better handling of airport ground traffic, or is this just fsx?

I just reinstalled FSX and added only Bojotes Tweak and FSX is like a new sim. Should have done this some time ago, it made the world of difference.

Hello caps...I Love the 600, and I love bad weather, low vis and mountains (who doesn't). So for a long time I've been roaming Norway with SAS.But I hear a lot of good talk about Canada (you have a big rock or two there, right?) and I was looking into taking on a few Westjet routes with the -600.Could anyone suggest some good legs (max 2hr flight), and perhaps some descent freeware scenery to get me started? Is iot correct that Orbx have done some products for Canada? Mostly been flying within northern Europe, and Orbx doesn't do anything around there, so I haven't really looked into them. Hi, at the home screen of the Flight sim when I select the 737-800NGX, after a while the aircraft sort of becomes a ghost. This only happens with the 800 I have the 6/700 and neither of them does this, also the 900 doesn't. Is there a way to calculate the optimum flightlevel for a shorter route at 300 nm or less in a Boeing 738?What would the optimum flightlevel be for a route at 130 nm again in a Boeing 738?

I've installed the boxed version and SP1C. I've completed Tutorial 1 without problem and everything seems to be working perfectly apart from the fact that I can't install any liveries.I've down loaded a selection and carefully followed the Livery Manager instructions but everytime it gets stuck on the at the ' Extracting equipment_decal.dds' stage and eventually and stops with the 'Problem encountered' message'. This happens whether I try to install them individually or en bloc.I've deleted the livery downloads and redownloaded them and reinstalled SP1C but this has not helped.Any ideas as to what I might be wrong?Windows7 64; i7 920 2.67GHz; 6gb RAM; Radeon 5870

I am looking to replace my tired rudder pedals to fly the ngx and would like to know if anyone has any experience using these pedals made by dhs Electorinic with this or a similar plane. They are more expensive than the Saitek Pro Flight pedals and I wondering if they are worth the price difference.Peter Lowry

A couple of questions about 2-D cockpit views:1)Is it recommended to load the NGX in 2-D cockpit ? 2) When I load in 2-D, it stays for about 5 sec (give or take 3s) ... then switches back to VC during the NGX initialization. Is NGX loading VC during initialization or is EXDOK maybe doing this ? OR do I have something screwed up somewhere ?Thanks
