PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

  1. I love to switch views from the flight deck, to the passenger cabin as its fun, every now and then, to see "how the other half lives" :)But when in the passenger cabin view, there is a strange phenomena where structure (seats, walls etc) are not rendered in what appears to be a bubble around your viewpoint, so that when you look left from your window seat, a whole section of the planes fuselage is missing. only moving to an Aisle seat gets you far enough away so that you can actually "look out the passenger window" with the wall intact :(Is there a configuration fix for this? or a high fidelity texture add on?Thanks in advance!

    Hello all,I am about to start looking at ordering a new computer, as the Mother-In-Laws just died....perfect excuse to be generous and donate mine.....for a new one....Question is....I am not the best at a complete self build....I would like to just get one shipped to me.     Hi guys,I got this problem after I reinstalled Windows 7 on my computer:I can only hear engine sounds and winds.No GPWS, no flaps being lowered or raised, no sound effects when using spoilers, etc.Even flying upside-down won't get me warning sounds... <_<I know what sounds I need to be hearing in flight, I flown it pretty much every day before reinstalling Windows, so that's why I'm posting this and seek for help.Strange thing is I have never seen other topic's about this problem...Any help will be appreciated! :smile:MO-Airlines

    Hello everyone,A lot of posts and threads have been written about this. Searched for it, but did not find my problem.I want to make an autolanding at LSZH rwy 14 (CATIII). Both NAV's set at 108.30. Both courses set at 136 degrees. After having intercepted the localizer (VOR/LOC activated), a few moments later, I see the glidescope (open) diamond. After the glidescope is intercepted (filled diamond), I switch on the second AP, and as soon as the 737 is going down, following the glide-path, I get Single CH into the PFD.   8. In the livery downloads page it says a * next to a livery means that "this particular livery has a fully accurate and verified airline options configuration included". I'm just wondering where the data for the Delta options came from? I had a look at airliners.net (yeah I know, it's not the best source of current information...let's stop the flames before they come, thanks) and their most recent cockpit shot of a Delta 737-800 flight deck is from 2008...so 4 years old.     I was reading through the posts that came out straight after the SP1c release and saw the initial problems. What really impressed me was Ryan's immediate responses and then the availability of the new 1c patch. All that on a weekend! You guys are just great!Downloading the patch now and looking forward to starting Tutorial 2.     I'm sorry if I'm overlooking something simple, I'm not real bright sometimes.I set up Ezdok and it all seemed to go fine. But when I load the PMDG 737-900ngx there are no defaul cameras (pilot, f/o, etc). If I load up the PMDG 737-800ngx that was installed at the time time via DVD, it has a whole list of camera eyepoints.I also checked the 737-800ng vs the 737-900ng, the 800 has them, the 900 doesn't. None of the .cfg files are read-only.Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

  12. Apologies if this is a question easily answered by reading the manual, but on my flight today I experienced an issue with the captain's CDU. I was attempting to practice some of the procedures from tutorial 2 on a route between KLAX and KLAS. I was attempting to enter conditional waypoints, but the captain's CDU was overwriting character inputs with subsequent key presses. For example, I was trying to enter a waypoint 10 miles prior to the LAS vor, but as I typed, only one letter was retained at a time. When I pressed L, it would show in the scratch pad, but as soon as I typed A, it would overwrite and delete L. If I used the FO's CDU, it worked normally. Anyone els…

    I was trying out some failures today, and tried a failure of system B, and later tried a manual reversion. Knowing that manual gear release isn't simulated, I tried lowering the gear by "just pressing ctrl-g", as Ryan suggested. Nothing happened. As it turned out, the FS "manual gear release" simply pulls the red trigger on the gear handle, and doesn't lower the gear.It would be really awesome if PMDG would update the the NGX so that a key command forces the gear down. Without that, any SYS-B failure results in belly landing.Again, please allow a key command to force the gear down.     Great Job again PMDG! I can now seem to run the NGX on high res textures with the same FR I had before, where I used the low res ones.... not sure if it's just cuz i have resigned that running autogen and complexity on Normal with the NGX or not... maybe it's a coinciedence or not.... but it seems better.... very nice and combined with that new add-on from A2A the accusound thing...it's awesome!

Why is it called 290° inbound and not 110° inbound, as I fly in fact on the 110° radial.2. I noticed that the VOR "needle" (the center part) of the ND does not turn into magenta if captured.     Hi All,A quick question, i was practising setting up holds last night and i set up a hold at Ockham on the way to approach 27L at heathrow. In the CDU HOLDS page you can set an inbound course but cant seem to change the actual heading for the hold so the plane was flying firstly at 150 degrees and then back at 330 degrees. I checked the charts and this ties in but i am guessing you cant change the headings because that is set in stone so to speak The inbound course only affects what direction you approach the hold from.     I would like some help with this. On occasion I set up everything as per the first tutorial and despite vspds appearing when clicked on the takeoff page the PFD shows no vspds. I cannot fathom out why this is happening and it is now becoming frustrating as I cannot see what I am doing differently from the times when it all goes smoothly.Thanks.

    I have a little bit of an automation problem, read the monkey doesn't push the right buttons. I use Vox ATC and rarely get a decent instruction at the TOD marker. In many cases I get it slightly after the TOD mark, prob around 600 - 1000' late according to the VNAV path marker. What will be the correct way to decent from here? What I did thus far was pressing LVL CHG and then as the VNAV deviation is around 100' I enable VNAV again. I always end up high on the approach. What will the procedure be if you get the decent instruction before the TOD mark?FRED
