PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hello captains!I need a simple help...Last night a saw a video on YouTube of a 737 flight recording, and I noticed that there is a passenger stairs attached to the airplane while it is on the airport. Moments later, the stairs retract inside the airplane.I'm interested in how to "activate" these stairs. What command do I need to input?Thanks in advance!

Sometimes, FSX freezes exactly 10 meters altitude before landing.It seems that happens only when I start from a saved flight selected directly after I open FSX (738 is on cruise or approach). It can happen on any airport.To solve the problem (no freeze), I start FSX, select the 738, go to the departure airport. Only after that (after parameters have been initialised on ground), I select the saved plan.Sorry for my poor english.My name is Edouard.

I am thinking about getting the Thrustmaster Warthog (actually interested only in the throttle, but they do not appear to sell it separately) and was looking for some information. The few people who use it and have posted here, use it with FSUIPC. Is it possible to configure the throttles to control the engines individually without using FSUIPC? Is the set up fairliy straightforward or quite cumbersome?Appreciate any advice / feedback.For those interested, the Warthog is available at Sears for less than $420 and free shipping - best deal I have seen on this.Thanks!Rushad Ed.

Hi allJust on a flight to LEAL. As you can see winds are 216/82 and my track is 183'. I have noticed the the airplane is constantly adding right aileron. I'm on track, so what is the reason? My first thought is that as the wind is from the right (33') the right wing is wanting to lift. I have just purchased FSX FSUIPC and am using AS 2012. I have also been trying out different settings within AS2012 to prevent S-turns. Currently I have it set to DWC, my controller is the Pro flight yoke from Saitek and CH pedals. Would be interested in your thoughts.RegardsPaul Edwards

Hi Everyone:Just wondering - sometimes upon landing, I get the HUD to display the runway edges/perimeter, and other times, at other runways, I don't get it. I always have the course on both sides of the aircraft set correctly, and I always get the the circles with the needle centered, but I dont ALWAYS get the runway edge to depict. Is this a function of each individual runway, whereas some runways will transmit this info, and others will not? Example, I always get the runway depiction in Philadelphia KPHL with RWY 27L, but I am yet to get it with Pittsburgh KPIT RWY 28L or 10L. Can anyone explain this to me?Thanks,Chris Catalano

I know this has been mentioned a few times but nothing recent and I am not sure as to what the current situation is. Is there a plan to upgrade the pushback which I believe is just the (a bit rubbish) default FSX with something with the quality we love from PMDG?Thanks,

Helloafter i reinstalled the 737NGX everything seems to work fine except the HUD. Every Display is working. But there is no projection at the HUD.Regardsschnaydar

Hi, I usually fly a complete predefined route with LNAV and VNAV that I enter in the CDU before flight and do also automatic ILS landings. Today I decided to fly with ATC guidance in FSX, without entering the runway in the DEP/ARR section in the CDU since I didn't know which one the ATC would tell me.Departure was from ELLX and the destination GCTS (Teneriffa, Spain). Entered the needed SID for my departure and no waypoints or VOR's. I chose a STAR, which seemed to be not a bad one since the direction I'd had to come in was almost perfectly aligned with my route. 30 nm before my destination, I called the ATC at GCTS, they gave me runway 8 for the landing, so I chose ILSY …

Hey Guy's, I recently dowloaded the sp1 for the 800/900 and am having problems. I recently scene that we needed to un-install the saved panels and also the sp1 updates, but I inadvertently un-installed everthing , I tried to login and realized i never registered my product, So I did, And then I was instructed to follow instructions that was sent via e-mail, However I never got that e-mail. Could someone Help please. I Know that you guy's are busy and it may take awhile, but wasn't sure if you got the mesage or not.

A big hello to the PMDG 737NG community, I just got myself this beautiful plane for the rainy days, and currently spend my time going through every step of the manuals, etc. - with relish !!I have downloaded a few liveries from the PMDG site and am attempting to install them, as per the manual, and it is not working: see what I get as soon as I execute. I am a newbie to PMDG. I am reading the manuals now and hope to make the first tutorial flight this weekend. My question is whether or not FSX plans can be imported into the FMS or is it always best to create route manually. Please bear with me as I work my way through a massive amount of data.

Hi There,I am a NG pilot and I bought NGX to practice some procedures that I don't often get the chance to do on the line, during the course of which I noticed some significant issues.There is something out of whack with the navaid database. If I reference KTM VAR (Kathmandu) in the FMC is shows correctly in terms of data and position. But if I tune 113.2 in NAV1 or 2 it actually tunes a nearby BDA (BIDA) VOR which is not only (according to the FMC) a freq of 112.7. BDA actually doesn't appear on any of my real and up to date charts. This is with the stock database as provided with NGX. Hi,Sorry for yet ANOTHER help me topic but having so many of these issues latelyWhen installing the NGX there was various CFG teaks I needed to apply on top of the ones I already have, one of these is the TEXTURE MAX LOAD tweak. I have this set to 4096 yet every time I play FSX it keeps resetting back to 1024. I was checking this because I wanted to try the McPhat freeware HD textures and wasn't very impressed. Turns out this value only resets when using the PMDG NGX aircraft (default are fine). Im not adjusting any settings so that is not the cause. TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=4096resets to TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=1024And this is under the [GRAPHICS] section in fsx.CFGAnother thing I have…

Hi everyoneIs there some documentation out there on how to operate and use the HUD? I have just installed NGX on my new PC and cant find documentation on how to operate/setup the HUD. Hi,When the plane is on the ground, and I switch pressurization to manual mode, fully close the outflow valve, and then switch back to normal or altn mode, the plane pressurizes the cabin for a few seconds, and then depressurizes it. Is it some kind of system check?btw1 - FCOM documentation on pressurization is scarce at the very least; there is even no depiction or explanation of the cabin alt and press diff panel, or am I missing something?btw2 - I was delighted to see how opening doors changes pressurizationbtw3 - am I right there is a small bug there - the pressurization system should not be able to to the above thing, when packs are off?cheers,Jakub

And I don't have access to my NGX at the moment and won't be for a while.As I recall from somewhere, someone/literature said not to leave the master caution (let say) on for too long, as the bulb can burn out quite easily. i installe the livery and it is not in my fsx .... what do u think is causing this?

My 2D cockpit faces down on it is not in the middle of the screen, How do i get this fixed? thanks.
