Hi there,let me first express my gratefulness for this superb simulation (if only it were an Airbus...).I have a question/request regarding the engine damage simulation:Will it be possible with a future update to let engines fail/burn/lose oil pressure based on IAS/V1? I just upgraded my ATI drivers to Catalyst 11.12 (see sig for specs) after doing a fresh Windows 7 install due to hard drive failure. Although I had similar issues with the 11.8's I was wondering what everyone else is using when flying the NGX on an ATI video card. As long as I let FSX decide the AA and AF settings everything is fine although it doesn't really eliminate all the jaggies. As soon as I force Catalyst Control Center to enforce my AA/AF I get unreadable menus in FSX and lose 10 to 15 FPS. I have experimented with 2x, 4x box, and wide tent settings to no avail. I take too much of a hit with 8x AA on my system. I am running FSX in 1920x1080 32 bit which is…

According to FCOM2, page 3, 20.8 the wing anti-ice automatically trips-off under certain conditions such as takeoff thrust, lift-off, etc. I can find no indication that wing anti-ice automactically comes back on. Does it need to be manually turned on after takeoff?ThanksMichael

Looking for a little guidence. Keep getting the Nav Data out of Date error message on the FMC even tho I've updated to latest AIRAC. FMC shows AIRAC-1113 Dec15Jan11/12. Hi guys,I´ll get the -600/700 expansion in some minutes and wonder how to install them correctly. My -800/900 is Sp1b, so just install the expansion over it and everything all right or do I have to take care for something?

I recently reinstalled Windows 7 and FSX, and the PMDG 737 base and expansion packs and a bunch of other addon aircraft, then I restored my backed up aircraft folder and let it overwrite the files since the backup had the updated files for my aircraft than the original files. Before doing all this, the 737 would start it's engines automatically. Now the engines won't start and Ctrl E does not work. I read the tutorial and it mentioned nothing on how to start the engines. Did something screw up the original 737 NGX installation when I was restoring the FSX aircraft folder from my backup and letting it overwrite files? I suspect that once the SDK comes out for the PMDG NGX, there will be alot more hardware compatibilty, but I would love to see PMDG do something like this too... Not sure if its something i have failed to configure properly with the aircraft but i assume it is.I get 2-3 desgres of pitch up and down in a slow bobbing motion during my climb out and sometimes during descent, what can i do to prevent this.Thanx in advance :)

I have recently installed the PMDG NGX as per documentation. After FSX starts, the aircraft was selected and the license code entered with a confirmation. All good till here. Now once the aircaft loads up , there is no data of any parameters on the PFD, ND or the AFS. The IRS is aligned and on NAV mode and the engines are running too. But no data whatsoever across the panel .The overhead , pedestal and other panels show up well with all switches clearly seen and functional.Request Help !Regards,Rohit

Hi I am kind of new to the 737 and i started to read all the manuals to learn how to fly. I now understand how to from a airport to an airport but i just don't understand what are the correct sids, and stars etc to use. Is there a website i can use? one last question is when i use the auto pilot it goes where its supposed to go but i just cant seem to set up the right approach. id appreciate any help for now i am just gonna keep reading the manuals. On a landing into montreal at night with the 738, I noticed my landing lights were "default", not the enhanced ones that the NGX usually has. The visibility was about 3 miles. I did some tests. Since im using AS2012 I tried restoring textures to default FSX but it did nothing. I then found out that I could get the NGX enhanced lights by raising the visibility from 3 miles to over 10 miles. Above 10 miles the lights are enhanced, below 10 miles the lights are default. Weird! Can anyone test this please? Try FSX at night with the NGX first below 10SM vis with landing lights, then above 10SM vis. Anyone have ideas on this id like to have the nicer lights on every landing!Ale…

Hello All,Having a problem with my 737NGX where if I do anything related to windowed mode (alt-enter keypress, or if I bring up a window such as the Squawkbox window), I go to black screen and eventually, if indeed I get something back, the screen looks VERY strange with bits and pieces of scenery missing, strange looking clouds, black sky, etc. I have many other aircraft add-ons, and this is the only one effected. I am running Windows 7 64-bit, NVidia GTX 560 ti with the 285.66b drivers, 8 gb ram.
