I have a question regarding if autoland is available for all ILS approaches (RW and in the sim). While landing in low vis at PAEI last night I configured for an autoland which I don't use very often. I didn't get a LAND3 announced at the appropriate point and ended up disconnecting at minimums and landing manually. Now I don't know if I just missed something in the procedure, but it got me thinking about Cat II/III landings and perhaps if some ILS approaches don't give LAND3 because they aren't certified for it. I have as small issue that I cannot figure myself, so I'm gonna ask.. I am still learning and taking it bit by bit so bear with me. Scenario is I have just been practising flying aproaches and landing using the ILS and APR Modes Literally taking off from Runway 08 at EGGW flying a loop and landing on Runway 08. All good.. Now if I set actual weather conditions then with the wind direction runway in use switches to 26, I take off do my loop whilst setting the frequency on NAV 1 and set the course to 256 turn the aircraft to intercept the localiser then when intercepted enable APR mode. Okay, I just completed a reinstall of both my OS & FSX. When I shut down FSX it will crash on me, when I load a default aircraft I have no issues? I've tried three times with other default aircraft, it's just with the PMDG 737?

Look at this video and at 5:53-5:54 in the video at the very moment of touchdown there is a sound like something starts spinning for a second or so or how to describe it. I've heard this sound in many IRL 737NG video clips just at the moment of touchdown.What is this sound and I don't think I ever heard it in the NGX so I guess it isn't modeled or maybe I'm always too much at my toes during touch down to notice it :( Next flight in the NGX I'll try to listen very carefully for this sound.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4iSVZJVcKl4&feature=youtube_gdata_player

I was following the instructions in the PMDG papers and some of the forums. I went to my FSX folder ( I have navigated aroun here before ) I rt clicked and checked the box on the hidded files so I could find the CFG file. I left the box checked that said all files and folders. When it was done (about two minutes) the whole folder disapeared! It looks like it will still play but I can not find it. I tried a system restore but it did not work. Please help.Thanks,

When I attempt to use the FMS FIX page, my FPS drops by about 10 and my graphics become extremely choppy. This renders the FIX page unusable.

Hey guys,Sometimes after pushing the TO/GA button the master caution light comes on with 'DOORS' indicated on the annunciator. It then turns off after about a second. Does anyone know if this is a bug, or just something the NGs do in real life from time to time?Regards,

Hi everybody..Im using FSX with SP2NGX B737-6/7/8/900 series with SP1bSaitek Proflight Rudder pedalsSaitek Proflight Yoke System..Both with latest drivers and calibrated in the FSX...I dont use the Saitek software for programming for the peddals...Ok...Usual procedure...After pushback... Parkingbrake is set.. preperation for takeoff in progress... I set flaps, trim and brakes RTO.... OK...I was released for taxi...Everything was normal until i pushed the brakepeddals a little bit to stop the aircraft at the holdingpoint...Then i wanted to line up the runway... but i needed unusual much thrust to move the aircraft...I realised that the autobrakes were activated.... I just purchased the PMDG 737NGX 800/900 on DVD (January 14, 2012)1. Are all updates included on the DVD installation or will I need to install any SP's, Patches or anything of the sort?2. My understanding is that the PMDG 737-600/700 NGX requires that the 800/900 be installed first. May I purchase, download, and install the 600/700 NGX after installaion of my DVD 800/900 NGX? What I am asking is the 600/700 download compatible with the 800/900 DVD installation?Thanks:RTH

It was a normal preflight with everything running smoothly. Nothing on the failures page, good hydraulic quantity, all systems tests pass etc. After engine start I try to taxi to the right and I'm applying 50% N1 just to get the wheels rolling, so I figure something's wrong. At first I deduce it must be a nose tyre imbalance or something, so I double-check the failures page and everything's clean. I then notice that, while both engines are running, I'm only getting a thrust increase from the number 2 engine. I am also getting "LEFT OVERWING" and "RIGHT OVERWING" annunciations on the overhead panel, however this warning, along with the "DOORS" annunciation extinguish after…

the airplane jiggers from time to time especially during cruise, I know this is related to weather, but i currently dont own the FSUIPC new version. is there another fix. I remeber when i was using the version 3.0 i had the ability to make the weather changes stable throught an option inside FSUIPC.Thanks

Can anyone tell me in PMDG B737NGX should aircraft in conflict show on the gauge when the warning is announced. I get the warning but no aircraft dots display on the gauge. Also when in descent should DES display above the engine gauges? I continue to display CRZ when in descent?

Could someone be kind enough to explain how one is to disable the pilot head motion within FSX. It states in the Introduction that: (the Pilot head motion makes it difficult to operate certain buttons within the VC accurately. I just recently purchased the NGX and I have difficulty in the VC of clicking the applicable switches etc. in the VC mode. Anybody have a workaround for this or does the disabling of the pilot head motion within FSX take care of this?Regards,jack noulet

Guys, I'm having a problem accuraely flying in LNAV (manually) with the HUD, is there something on the HUD other then the "bug" to tell me if Im left or right of track. It seems I fly alot more accurately without the HUD; despite the fact that the HUD is 6x more sensitive then the DU's ( I think). I just don't know when to start or finish a turn and how to really get perfectly on Track with the HUD. Any ideas? Maybe one of you can do a tutorial with youtube about the HUD. It seems to an extremely advanced piece of NG gear; yet it is the least understood....by me anyway.Cheers

In last two days I made two flights:1-Yesterday CYHZ (Halifax)- KJFK. Climb was normal until I reached FL260 wind was gusting from 330 90K+15k. I reduced the Speed to turbulence speed, 737-600 was performing poor. LNAV cannot maintain flightpath.
