PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi everyone,I'm using the PMDG 737NGX (800/900) planes for about a week. I'm building a home cockpit and I would like to use this PMDG 737 as my plane that I will always use to fly. I have the Opencockpits MCP, and that worked like a charm on the default 737 and some other planes. But it doesn't seem to be so compatible with PMDG :( I searched around this forum and found some interesing new SIOC codes. I copy/pasted them and after applying the SP1 of PMDG it does something! My MCP is displaying the correct speed, heading, altitude,... but when I turn the knobs, sometimes they count down even when I'm turning to the right. And sometimes the 'Kneeboard' shows up, my mouse y…

Hey guysI downloaded the NGX VERSION v1.00.3118. The newest one i think. When i try to install any downloaded liveries using the livery manager i select the ptp file ,etc , then says extracting (eg. c-gwkj) but after a few moments the program freezes and doesnt respond. Good afternoon. I am trying to map some key commands to to functions in the overhead panel and I can't seem to find it in the pmdg setup in the CDU. The biggest ones I wanted to map were fuel pumps and APU, Engine bleeds and AC Packs. Am I missing something or is it not modeled?DJuan Carter

Not a big issue for airports close to sea level, but flying into KDEN for example, setting the Baro DH to 5000+ ft can take a lot of mousing on the minimums knob.Using the mouse wheel helps a bit, but any other tweak or shortcut, or even a simple LUA script for a two speed scroll?* Orest

Im making a paint for a C-40A which is listed below, my question is this.. Is there a way to seperate the wing textures to have a seperate texture for the left than the right? As many know, military paints require stars and bars on the left wing, with unit designation and tail number on the right for topside and bottom side stars and bars on the right and branch of service on the left. Can this be accomplished in any way? I only see one genaric wing dds.

Hello all. PMDG please respond also.I guess this will probably sound stupid but does printing out the PMDG manuals for ones personal use violate the copyright agreements? I'm one of those who love reading in bed but right now I use my netbook and adobe to read the PMDG Manuals . (Talking about the 737 NGX Manuals.) The reason I ask is that each page says 'Do Not Duplicate' so I suppose this answers my question, but still I wonder does this also apply for personal use?Thanks Ed BurtonStill reading manuals and hope to take her up soon :-)

Hi,since i´ve installed SP1b my cokpit of the 737NGX is not longer existing ?Just some fragments without any screens and buttons etc. pls see screenshot-I´ve uninstalled everything and reinstalled it step by step but I get the same problem !Can anybody help ?thx and a happy new yearMichael

Hi guys,Now and then I experience that when loading a savegame which is saved in the air (have never tested it on ground)the airplane is totally dead. Cockpit is cold and dark, no response when moving the stick, and when pressingto get the FMS up the SELCAL comes up instead. The NGX slowly starts to dip, and drops nose downto the ground. Battery- and standyby power is on, but panel is dark.This happen both when loading through RC and in FSX directly.Anyone else experience this, or know a fix?Geir J.

Hello all,I had been able to use my NGX since yesterday with my new PC that I bought just a month ago, I installed Wilco and I wanted to start FS, my default flight starts with NGX, and it asked me for Activation Code? Even though it recognises the physical machine? When I enter the activation code, it tells me:"Error: flxActCommonRepairLocalTrustedStorage - (50044,71013,1)"After I click OK, it says You do not have a valid product." etc.What the problem is?Thanks a lot.

Here is the situation.I have a decent computer with allot of relatively good equipment/ see my signature belowThe machine is O.C'd i7 965 3.2 @ 4,2 stableI have a video card with 3 gb memory 580gtx video card and a second older cardI start the sim fsx 1,2 Accel . I load up the pmdg 737 ngx ( which by the way is outstanding !)I sit at cyyz and do some flight planning, ( frame rates +/- 25 ). Im using the external limiter and ******* tweaks.Go Online with vatsim and prep for a filghtAs I plan my flight and after about 10 mins of connection to vatsim , I will go to about 4-5 fpsNot even flyable!So I tried this same scenario but at other airports and it is the same thing.I …

Hello everyone.I fly the PMDG737NGX with SP1b. Up until yestarday: no problems. Last night, I loaded a saved flight, i.e. Tutorial1, 10 miles before the TOD. Then, I noticed, that the flaps were at position 1 (should be flaps up). Tried to set them in the up-position. Flaps moved a couple of times, but finally they came back to the position one. So, I deceided to start a brand-new flight from the Cold and Dark. I could not load the 737-800 anymore, but got a CTD immediately, telling me: PMDG_737NGX.dll as the reason for the CTD. I would like to buy the 737NGX But I have a regular screen that works well with both FS9 and FSX never had problems with them, I have a widescreen but I had soo many problems with the 2D panes they look enlarged even changing screen resulotions and put my old regular screen back, I would like to know if there is a way to use the 737NGX with a regular screen ior or if I have to go back to the widesceen and see what I can do with both FS9 and FSX.Plase help me!!Best RegardsRicardo

Installed the SP1b and tryd to make a flight with this bird but notest at CLevel that the birds keep changing directions around the cours of the FMC.Anyone has the same problem?Only at HDG select it keeps a bit the cours selected by me.Thanks on advance for future replys.Geert Burgstra

I took a vacation from FSX to play a new game, and upon my return, I'm only getting a black screen even though I can hear the sim running. GreetingsI just got my shiny new 737NGX. It will be an adventure. I also got an email suggesting I download and install SP1b. I purchased the item on Dec 29. Is there a way to determine if the service is incorporated into the installer, or should I just install the service pack? Thanks and Happy New Year.
