    So I keep running into this problem every time I have to install any SP's . I save it then try to open it, but then all these windows start opening up. Can someone tell me how to get it to a ZIP file where I can extract it. I save it, then send it to a compressed file, but it keeps trying to open in Internet Explorer. I did the first SP, but now I can't remember how I did it? Any help would be appreciated.Thanks,

    Hello I set today on my fmc at "Options-Equipments" the altitude call outs I put every single of them on or Smart but I just hear the 2500 only not other and sometimes the "10" and also I dont hear minimums but my cockpit sound works when I click on something but not callouts :(

    Guys,Departing out of Stockholm this morning,, my fps must be broken because it seems so smooth, my stuttering has been significantly reduced. All I am doing is loading ASE and then starting FSX.Enjoy [reduced from 1920 to 1280]

This relates to ASE (on a second computer) together with FSInn (with weather disabled) and the NGX.I am heartened to see that the latest FSUIPC may finally help the winds, but my problem is the generation of implausibly warm temps at high altitude, 30C over ISA and more. ASE does report the correct temps at altitude, in its briefing, but they don't seem to be make it to FSX.I do set that in the performance page of the FMC, don't know if that is used in the flight computations. The very high temps will throw the IAS/Mach changeover point quite high, and with an aggressive cost index, you may top out and stop climbing.I have not been able to figure out which is the culprit …

  11. Hallo everybody,I have the problem of a timme difference btw clock and ND dispay next waypoint and of course also in prog page of FMC. Using UTC time in the clock and using FS real time too. In the POS INIT page of the FMC the time is acc. the clock. I have no solution for that problem. It happend, after I changed the routing and the FMC has to calculate the changed routing!Hopefully there is anybody who can help me!!For example: My clock shows 1710 UTC and my ND calculate the next waypoint and shows me 0220.3z ??????Thanks Holger!

  12. I have a recently rebuilt machine (specs below) and have a small SSD which is only for FSX and add-ons. When I re-installed the NGX8/9, everything was fine. When the 7/8 came out, bought it & installed it, and except for some strange jumping of liveries discussed in other threads, still everything worked normally. CTDs, freezes, all that continued normally.A few days ago I installed the SP1b update for both 8/9 and 6/7. So then it was time to re-install all the liveries.     Hi,So I've been having some problems these past couple weeks, all fixed by reinstalling. This morning, I tried to do ANC-SEA in the 800WL, but I Could not here any engine noises, rumbling, air conditioning packs, flap motors, they were all there, except for that soundset I love. So I reinstalled the NGX as we're supposed to. After that, I started up a test flight, and when I got into the VC, I saw this: As you can see, the HUGS is working(actually you can't see that one), and the CDU as well, but any numbers on the PFD/ND and EICAS displays are not there.     After updating my nav database to the latest cycle (1113), I still get "Nav data out of date" on the IDENT page in the FMC. I double checked that the Navigraph installer installed the files correctly and my fmc_ident is correct as shown here:[ident]NavData=AIRAC-1113OpProgram=DEC15JAN11/12CoData=EAG-1113Does it always display this?   17. Greetings all,I'm trying to learn how to properly fly non-precision approaches in the NGX. The preferred way appears to be the VNAV approach, but I'd also like to learn the VOR, LOC, NDB, and back-course. What is the correct way of doing them? I know it involves DA/DH, and proper tuning of the radios, but how do you set up the FMC and MCP?In a related question, non-precision approach charts have some sort of angle of descent after the FAF. It says something like "3.05 degrees", and underneath it something like "TCH50". How are those numbers used in the approach?Many thanks

    This is really fun to do...a fun change from 35,000 ft. LNAV/VNAV engaged. What I usually do is start someplace with water near the field(Friday Harbor). After start up, I put 4% of fuel in the tanks, no payload, take off, and just run full power till the fuel cuts off. But I don't maintain anything above 200 feet, when doing this... . After shutdown, just glide her into the water as smooth as possible...and hope that the crazy FSX crash detection system doesn't catch you!   20. Been having a strange problem with my 3-monitor setup using TripleHead2Go. When I start the NGX everything works great. I use TrackIR 5 and have no problems with performance when panning around the cockpit across the three screens. However, when selecting Shift+6 to get the overhead display, the cursor goes into a continual flash and performance drops down to 8-10 FPS compared with easily over 30 before. All the other Shift+ windows work fine. Just the overhead tanks performance. If I go an entire flight without using Shift+6 I have no problems. I know the NGX wasn't tested for multi-monitor so I'm hoping someone other than the devs have some idea about this one.

    Sirs: I'm having what I think is a Simple problem. When useing the Livery Manager I get a Windowed Message saying "Texture folder already Exists" and "Please enter a new texture folder below" ... This only happens w/ the 800wl, 900,and the 900wl (It loads the 600-700wl's). Has anyone ever experienced this problem and what should I do with it. Thank You..........

Randazzo's voice once when he was being interviewed on FS Break a few months ago, and I think there might be a hint of his voice in the ground crew voice!Regards,
