Hi everyone, I've had this problem for a while with my NGX. When I take off and then engage autopilot with VNAV and LNAV engaged my plane gets really violent and shoots up into the sky, sometimes at 8,000 fpm it pitch's up as high as 20 degrees, clearly this can't be normal. During decent it's not as bad but it will pitch down to 10 degrees and go for a 6,500 fpm dive to achieve its decent path! I've tried every route, double checked my sids and stars to make sure everything is programed into the FMC properly but the same thing happens. I Just wish it would start my decent sooner instead of shooting me into the earth. I wonder if cost index could have something to do with…

Hi Everyone:I am trying to learn how to use the HUD. I have a nice 18 inch flat screen monitor. The problem is that I cannot seem to fit the HUD and the PFD all on one screen wihout zooming out to 40%. If I move the seat back, I cannot see the edges of the HUD like the speed tape and the altitude incidations. If I move too far forward, I lose the PFD below. So the only wat I can see it all is to move my seat forward, then zoom out to a tiny 40%, and that makes things hard to readon my Nav display, etc. Is there some trick to getting it all to fit nicely with a reasonable size display?Thanks,Chris Catalano

Hi from Berlin/Germany.Flying the JS 4100 I've been frequently using the <CTRL> <"SPACE">combination to "reset" the screen to "default", after moving the view and/or zoon in/out.Flying with the 737-800NGX I also tried to use this feature (while on final approach after a ~4 hour flight (IVAO IFR Tour YPPH -> YPCC) and the result was, the Flight Simulator disappeared immediately Killed by only this one keystroke...Is it only me having this issue, or is this behaviour quite normal in the NGX? I would like to ask for some assistance in understanding the management and use of the various VHF communications panels. I have read Chapter 5 of the PMDG-NGX-FCOMv2 but, unfortunately, I still have some difficulty.Here is an example:On a busy day, with lots of control, you connect to VATSIM/IVAO. I think I have seen a discussion on pushback already but cannot find the thread.Anyways my pushbacks, done from the CDU, are horrible. I get pushed all over the place;distances and angles are not kept. Yes, I do have AES but not on all airpüorts.SP1b installed. Anyone similar experience or even better a solution?Thanks Peter

This is more a wish but i think is feasible, most of us know fs-recorder, you can save your flight and then load back to record for video.The problem is you can't record in depth all instrument guage, hydraulic swithc, light etc. of 3rd party aircraft.With the complexity of the NGX and the upcoming sdk I was thinking that we can record a flight from Cold and dark to parking barke and then let other load it to check for training or just to get some help for wrong procedure from the Pilot in command.No more cheat and we can send the file to everyone just to get some help in particular procedure.I think there is an uge diffrence from video training and you can seve also the…

Hi allSeveral member have pointed out that one may as well just reinstall the NGX as opposed to updating. I went to retrieve my previous orders of the 8/900 and the 6/700 and I found that my order URL has expired. I assume that if I want to redownload the NGX installers I now require an extended download service (at cost)If so, I think I might just use the updates (which I know will work perfectly) and save a few penniesWhat do you guys think?CheersPaul Kent

I just got a Packard Bell monitor which will run up to 1920x1080. Wow! It look fantastic. Both 2D and 3D cockpits. Just a few questions on this. Which is the is the best screen resoultion to use. I noticed that circles are slightly eliptical, when I set the montitor to 1920x1080? Also, do PMDG not want us to use the 2D panels? On final app you can not see the runway. Unless you go the 3D cockpit and make the PFD pop out, so that you can check that your speed is on the bug? I'm starting to like this bird alot. I'm still learning it but it is fab. I really enjoyed the last flight!
