    Hi there, First of all many thanks to the whole PMDG team for the fantastic materialization of the 737NG into FSX.Its pure fun to fly and its depth exceeds my expectations by far with much more to come.However I struggle with a serious problem which occurs frequently and I cannot resolve it by myself so far. I am taking a short trip from KPDX to KSEA with the Southwest 737NGX-800WL. All preperations on the groundand takeoff always work fine without any problems.     The default push back distance is 40 meters.When I put 90° right or left the total distance becomes 158 meters,which I think is too much(131 feet and 518 feet) and there is no way one can alter the final distance apart from clicking on the stop.It has been the same since version 1.After each update nothing changed.Have I missed something?AlainV

    I just got a CTD on the new 737-600 from LOWW to LOWI at about 5 miles from Aerosoft LOWI.SP1 installed and then the new 737-600 in SAS livery.Everything was fine and perfect for a great RWY 26 landing, weather was also perfect, then everything froze and back to desktop.Also, why is it that PMDG still negates to recognize us users with Force Feedback joysticks???Is not a big deal to have to go to the iFly plane and steal their settings, then paste to PMDG ones, but we should not have to do that...

    When i enter a route in the FMC ie; PANC-KLAX (ANC4 MDO B453 KYLLE B453 BOXER FOT AVE SADDE6)The first instance of airway B453 enters fine. I then enter KURTT and try to enter the B453 airway I get an invalid entry MSG from the FMC. It will let me enter all the way points as direct but I can't enter multiple instances of the same airway, in this case B453. The manual says I can do so but no joy, same goes for the 747 FMC.What am I doing wrong?Charlie Coulon

    After a fresh install on ANOTHER hard drive FSX, NGX Base, SP1 and 700 I get an activation loop. Running as Administrator. Set the Clock to current time and back to the purchase date. No Luck. My new drive is Clean Win7 64 and FSX only.

    Hi Reading that the FS2 crew version for the 737 is due out soon could someone please just maybe explain to me exactly what functions it actually performs. I have read some reviews and watched some you tube videos but just to be clear, can it actually take control of some of the flight, all of the flight. I have been using RC4 for some time now but want to concentrate specifically on the 737 and would love a programme like this to help me fly the plane, similar to how RC4 takes control on the default aircraft. I am enjoying trying to master the 737 but sometimes need help, especially with arrivals, STARS etc. Thanks Shaun

    During engine starting, a pack switch must either be in the auto position or in the high position to get 40psi for the start process. If both packs are off,the duct will only reach about 20psi . My question is, why must a pack be ' on-line' to reach 40psi ? Thanks ahead----

    Hi,Since installing SP1 my GPWS sounds seem to have disappeared. I've tried re-installing the update and still no change in the situation. I've checked the FMC MENU and all of the relevant settings are turned 'on'.Any ideas? I'm using the -800 if that makes any difference.Cheers,Sam N

    Hi guys just a quick question...Under failures:In the NGX as the "next service in xxx hrs" number gets smaller, does this mean that the 'mean time before failure' (MTBF) increases? Also, does a lower amount of hours before next scheduled service eg 5 hours result in an aircraft that is more 'worn' or likely to have problems?Joel Fraseer

  16. using 737-800 SP1, both had same issue with original version. After install NGX ,FSx only sees 737-800 no wingletAfter few days investigating found i could fix the problem by passing the alias of other variant panels to 737-800 no winglet , and copy the entire 737-800 no winglet folder to the other variants.In short looks like the alias is failing for the plane, cause soon as i copy over all the panel files including panel.cfg from the main copy in 800 no winglet all is fine, fsx sees all variants.I am not comfortable with this soltion cause1. i have to maintain 4 copies of NGX panel.cfg2.   19. Hi all.In my NGX, I experience that I need to keep the thrust up at just benath 30% N1 in order to maintain taxi speed, even at calm winds and with a moderately loaded aircraft. I also find that there's a very slight margin between maintaining the speed, losing a lot of speed, and gaining way too much. This does not concur with my observations at the jump seat, as there's rarely need for anything but idle thrust once the aircraft is rolling. I also browsed through the FCTM and found this sentence under Chapter 2: "Idle thrust is adequate for taxiing under most conditions.     Hi guysis there any way to edit/change the pushback voice files? I love the whole 'ahhhh ground/cockpit.....go ahead captain....etc etc' however, because I live in Aust I'd like to have an aussie accent in there somewhere if possible (similar to how LevelD have 2-3 diff voices for the captain and flight attendant, including good ole 'Ian' the Aussie captain!Not a biggie but worth a question.

    Hi,for some reason, my captains CDU refuses to work since I installed SP2. See hereNo power, completely dead. Even pressing the menu doesnt load the PMDG menu.Ive also tried uninstalling the 737, and reinstalling, including patch.I have the panel state "NGX Short" set as my default.Earlier on, it was working, however when I tried to load a new panel state, it seems to freeze, just showing "loading panel state".Everything else in the cockpit seems fine. And the co pilots CDU is working fine also.Any suggestions?Andy

    I followed the suggestion of Ryan at PMDG to re-install the 737 to deal with the panel issue. When I tried, I was confronted with an expired URL. I emailed PMDG who promptly responded that I would need to purchase the Extended Service. It's not about the money - its a measly $5 - but the suggestion to purchase it given the very newness of the product. Kinda disappointing :( .... Make no mistake, I value what you do; your products are unquestionably great - but when you say "re-install" - also say you'd have to pay for a new link. It's called Full Disclosure! >>> Warren
